Description of Work: Tensie and her crew built a retaining wall, a courtyard wall and flagstone patio, installed irrigation and landscape lighting, and planted numerous trees, shrubs and perennials. In the spare time between all this, they painted our existing trim and trellis. She also arranged for a custom shed to be built through a separate contractor.

Description of Work: I had a front yard in need of a couple of paved paths - one to the front door and one around to the side of the house. I already had a design in mind and had gotten a couple of estimates for it. Tensie was the fourth person to come give an estimate. I told her what I wanted & how much I expected to have to pay for it. She looked at my yard. She said, okay, I can do what you want for the amount you want to pay, but are you fixed at that dollar amount, or are you open to a suggestion, because I think I can do something really nice for you for about $300 more, if you want to consider it. I said sure. And she had come up with an idea MUCH better than mine which I immediately agreed to. She showed up on time every day and had two guys to do some of the work. They laid out a beautiful curving path, moved my giant jades, moved and repaired my unprofessional (and rather poorly) installed sprinklers and valves, built a box around the newly placed valves, fixed a gate, fixed a stairs handrail that was loose, widened an existing path. The amount of good work, good design, and overall improvement in the look of my front yard and side yard was huge. It is now a delight for me even to carry my groceries in from the car. I LOVE looking at and enjoying what they did. She did a lovely exposed aggregate finish on the walkway.
