ODDJOB ROB

I had previously called several plumbesr, and was told that they would charge $350 or more to install a faucet that cost less then $300. So I decided to go the handyman route. I called 5 handymen, and Rob was the first to respond (3 never did). He showed up on time, and both the removal and installation went smoothly. He cleaned up where appropriate and offered tips on care an maintenance. I was extremely pleased with the results, and have already recommended him to friends.

Fantastic! Rob matched the materials perfectly. You can't even tell the roof was ever busted up.

This is the 2nd time I have called him to do this kind of work. Each time he is very prompt to return my call and quick to schedule and do the work, and the work is good. I think he is great, and very reasonable, and very honest. He has also repaired a gate post that was rotting out, repaired locks, and, sorry I can't remember what else. One thing I like about him especially is that he will immediately tell you if the job is beyond his expertise. I have had many handymen totally screw things up, so I'm so happy to have found someone to rely on.

repaired leaky faucet,attempted to repair outstde sprinkler faucet leak, and discovered he could not finish,this was outside his expertise,at any rate I had an underground leak, that was pre existing and had to call in a plummer 2k....Rob was diligent,friendly and I probably would call him again

Odd Job Rob's estimate was fair and reasonable but Rob had a very peculiar attitude and demeanor, so we decided not to contract his services. In one instance, he left a snarky and irritable voice mail when he wasn't able to start the work as planned. Odd Job Rob should be reminded who the Customer is and needs to also work on being more patient and flexible with the home owner.

He was great. His prices were reasonable. He was there here for five hours. I would use him again. He was professional and courteous.

We've had a lot of trouble with our wood doors swelling and becoming unusable. We called Rob at 9am this morning and we set up an appointment for 2pm, same day. He was on time, reasonable and overall just great. Thank you, Rob!

He was good. He did a good job. It was a small repair and he did the job quickly. I would use him again if needed.

Oddjob Rob was very efficient, came straight out, and he was here at the time promised. He did the job as perfect as you could have it and it's holding up very good. He left me his card and told me if I had any problems he'd come back out and fix whatever it was. I like the way that he presented himself, what he could do for me, and asked if I needed anything else.

Rob performed well the assigned tasks, used imagination when necessary, and is an agreeable person to work with. I will be happy to call on him in the future.

It was fine. He did a good job at the things we asked him to do. It did seem a bit expensive for the skill level required. But he was nice and did the jobs we asked him to do.

Rob recommended using a kind of chicken wire, which was inexpensive and looks fine. rob also gave me a free estimate, which proved to be accurate, and picked up all the materials for the gate. I am satisfied with his work, the price and the gate. I recommended him to a family member, and she used his service to clean the leaves out of her roof gutter at a fraction of the price of other handy people she has used before. He was always punctual and courteous, and I recommend him highly.

My overall experience was good. He has a good sense of what he can and can't do, which I appreciate.

I liked working with him. Things tended to take longer than expected, but he was still great overall!

Rob is a handyman with limited skills/abilities. He had to request the use of our ladder. The time he took to do the work seemed reasonable and he looked at the problems from various angles before choosing the best solution. Rob is a pleasant person, cheerful and not overly chatty. He is patient and works with the property owner pretty well. Rob seems a bit unsure when communicating, which gives the consumer an initial feeling of insecurity. Overall, this was a good experience.

Some of his work is very good and some of it is okay. He doesn't have a cell phone and so you cannot reach him through the day. You can either reach him in the night or early morning and for a set time. He does show up on time and he does the work. There a lot of times his day ends at 5 o'clock and so he doesn't get everything done and so you have to arrange him for another time. He mainly works for 2-4 hour time frames. The last time he was here I felt he was an average person. His quality depends on the type of job. Majority of the time he tries to do good work and he doesn't always succeed. The last couple of times he tired something and it didn’t work and so I feel he is average. He is pretty good at punctuality. I am still using him but I don't have too many expectations.

He arrived for estimate on time and same day as I called him. Estimate was right on. He is thorough, careful, has excellent tools. He also helped me think through the design elements. He phoned me the day before the job so we were on same page. This guy is good.

He was very punctual, stayed with job until finished but not very friendly very stoic according to my daughter who lives there but that was okay. Very good work. We were happy with finished product.

Rob Kanter (Odd Job Rob) returned my call quickly, and arrived when he said he would. He was courteous and clearly communicated how he planned to solve the problem and why. His cost estimate was close to the final charge, and overall, I am satisfied with his work . I would hire him again.

Great! Nice guy, easy to talk to, punctual, seemed trustworthy, did good work and did it quickly.

He initially came to bid and said that job was too big, but then thought about how it could be done easier than I had designed (his way turned out to be much better) and let me know within a day, so I wasn't left hanging. He was punctual, thoughful, very direct about what his skills and strengths are, and an overall pleasure to work with. I'm so pleased that I'm having him come back to replace a few window panes and repair a stair.

Rob came to do one thing specifically, but while he was there I added a number of odd jobs, including one that I intended to call a plumber to do. I was delighted when Rob not only said he could fix the problem, but also did so.

He id a great job. He was prompt and effecient. I would use him in the future.

He charged us fifty five dollars an hour and we think it s worse than it was before. I called him and told him that thinking that he might want to give us back some money or come fix it again. At least it was working, but now it s not working at all. He didn t call me back.

He told us that he couldn t fix the leak. He said we probably needed a new toilet but he couldn t do it.
