Lowe's

I was very impressed with their customer service. When you went into the store they asked what you wanted. They had in stock the particular microwave I was looking for. They said they would call and let me know when it's going to be installed, and they did. They called the day after I bought it, to make sure I was happy that I had been happy with my experience the previous day. Then they called me the day after it was installed to make sure it was installed properly, top marks. Let me tell you that I'm not an expert on microwaves. I bought the model I did because consumer reports said it was the best one. They also said what they had paid for the same microwave I got. I ended up paying 20 more dollars than their price but under the circumstances, I was totally happy. There were a lot of models that cost 3 times the amount I paid but consumer reports said to not pay the extra money, so I didn't. As far as I can tell the price was fine, I'm not an expert and I'm not going to pretend to be. They showed up when they said they were going to be. I would go back to them in a heart beat. I just shopped at home depot to get some light fixtures and it was just light night and day. There was nobody there to help you with stuff, there were like 3 clerks and everyone was busy. It was terrible.

It was a nightmare. It wasn’t anything on their part. They were very well and very prompt. They came at 9:00 which they were scheduled to be here at 9:00. They finished at 4:30. Everything was done very well. It was just that I had to move all the furniture out of all these rooms and find a place for it. That was the nightmare part. They were very professional. I was a little surprised because so many times contractors and people that are doing that kind of work they don’t call you back and they don’t come on time. They did everything according to our plan. I think the price was reasonable because I checked with three other places. When you put aside all the game playing that the other companies that I spoke with had going, I think Lowes turned out to be reasonable. I wanted Stainmaster Carpet, I wanted a good carpet and I think I got it at a reasonable price.

We bought the carpets and we forgot the coupon for it but they allowed us to come back and redo the ordering with the coupon again. They did have to reschedule to put down tack strips because my husband took them out by accident but they still got the carpet in quickly. They did a good job.

Overall it was a good experience. There were no unpleasant events or suprises. We got what we paid for, when Lowes said we would.

Lowes had the best selection of refrigerators of the three stores we visited. The salesman was very helpful and knowledgeable - he knew what he was talking about - and, much appreciated, he didn't try to upsell us. He answered all of our many questions and never seemed annoyed, even when we left and went back twice before we bought it! The delivery people kept us notified of when they'd be there that day - and they were wonderful about getting such a heavy appliance in the house without scratching the wood floors - and they took care in getting it set up right. All in all, we'll check out Lowes next time we need an applicance - or, actually, for anything in the garden and home improvement line. I like their service.

It's the first time that I had through Lowe's or Home Depot. Lowe's representative that I needed a City permit for installing a water heater. So I found information going thru Lowe's. The Lowe's has a list of contractors and he rotates them so they can get business. Maybe if the work is done poorly, maybe Lowe's/Home Depot will support the customer. .

The roof was damaged in September. The first inspection date we could get was in November. Mr. Kemp inspected the roof and plainly told us they were booked until spring. We felt he went above and beyond as he actually climbed on the roof and made temporary repairs on the day he inspected it to make sure we would be ok through the winter. When spring came, it took a couple of phone calls, which I attribute to a heavy workload, to actually get in touch with him and arrange the final details. The work was done very quickly. The workers were on-time each day and very respectful. They cleaned up each afternoon before leaving. No one could even tell they had been there. We were impressed with the workmanship and his willingness to work with our insurance company on the damage claim. Overall, excellent vendor. I would recommend and use again.

He was very honest. He did what he said he was going to do. He was reasonably priced. He had good workmanship. He obviously knew his trade well. He worked the whole time that he was here. He is trustworthy.

Very good. The installation was accomplished quickly and I've had no problems with the new toilet.

They were really good as I had no idea what I wanted in my kitchen and they helped me out all the way until they time they installed the appliances. The appliances look great, they work great and I would definitely recommend them to anyone around.

The store staff were knowledgeable and took their time with me while I decided on a carpet and then changed my mind and made a different selection. The estimator came out to my home at the scheduled time and the three installers likewise were on time. The carpet was installed in one day and my home was clean when they left. I was hesitant about installing new carpeting due to the need to move furniture but the majority of the moving of furniture was included in the price per foot. I paid extra for the moving of my two televisions -- which they would have preferred not to move due to liability issues but since I could not lift these myself, they took care of it. The carpet looks great and the seams are invisible.

The cabinet salesman Richard Bush was a nightmare to work with. He lacked any customer service skills and was extremely arrogant. He was no help when 2 cabinets arrived defective. We had to escalate the problem with Lowe's corporate who identified and corrected the problem. Richard's boss knew that he was a problem as other customers had said the same of him. He should be fired.

Nothing but good things to say in both transactions. The finish quality on both installations were outstanding. An added bonus was one of the french door installers told me his uncle was a painter. I wish I still had his card. He was an ''old school'' painter who was really good at his trade. My only criticism would be the accessibility of Lowe's sales staff. They're always unidated with customers. I learned to overcome this by going in @ 6 or 6:30 in the morning, when customers were few.

Positive experience. Installer called to ensure that I would be home since he could come earlier (12 pm.) Worked on the fan for just over an hour. Experienced and was very pleasant.

THE PADDING THAT WE PUT IN IS GREAT AND THE CARPET LOOKS WONDERFUL AGAIN. HE ANSWERED ALL OF OUR QUESTIONS AND ALWAYS SEEMED TO STAY ON TASK. NOW I CAN SAY THAT OUR FLOORS LOOK GREAT.

THE DOORS ARE BEAUTIFUL. THE INSTALLATION WENT WELL. AFTER REMOVING THE PATIO DOORS THE DOOR JAM HAD TO BE REALIGNED TO HANG THE FRENCH DOORS. THEY DID A WONDERFUL JOB.

I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE WORK THAT THEY DID. THEY CAME OUT AND INSTALLED THE FLOOR IN ONE DAY. THEN THEY CAME BACK TWO WEEKS LATER TO ASK HOW I THOUGHT THE FLOOR WAS. I HAVE BEEN USING THEIR SERVICE FOR ABOUT FIVE YEARS NOW AND I WILL NOT CHANGE.

THEY KNEW EXACTLY WHAT THEY WERE DOING. AFTER THEY FINISHED, THE BOSS CAME AND CHECKED OVER ALL THE WORK THEY DID. I LIKED THE FOLLOW UP. I FOUND THAT TO BE VERY PROFESSIONAL. I THOUGHT EVERYTHING WAS GREAT.

WHEN I WENT INTO LOWES, I WAS GREETED WITH FRIENDLY STAFF. I LET THEM KNOW WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR AND THEY HELPED ME. I GOT A GREAT DEAL AND GREAT SERVICE.

I HAD A WONDERFULL EXPERIENCE SHOPPING AND SELECTING MY CARPET. THEY HELPED ME CHOOSE THE CARPET THAT WAS GOOD FOR ME AND MY HOME. THEN THEY HELPED ME WITH GETTING INSTALLATION.

LOWES HAD A LARGE ASSORTMENT OF CEILING FANS. IN ADDITION, THE GENTLEMAN WHO HELPED US WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND SUGGESTED A FAN WITH LARGER PADDLES FOR MORE AIR CIRCULATION. WE HAD NOT THOUGHT OF THAT. WE ARE VERY PLEASED WITH OUR PURCHASE!!

EXCELLENT, VERY POLITE, REASONABLY PRICED. NO PART OF THE ROOF WAS LEFT EXPOSED, AS IT TOOK MORE THAN ONE DAY FOR THE ROOF. MR. KEMP HAD LOOKED AT MY OLD ROOF ANNUALLY AT MY REQUEST AND HAD FOUND IT TO BE IN GOOD CONDITION. UNTIL THE HAIL DAMAGED THE ROOF I FOUND NO NEED TO REPLACE. I FEEL THAT HE IS VERY HONEST.

THIS GUY IS GREAT! IF YOU NEED A ROOF CALL HIM!
