Dryer Vent Wizard of Sacramento

Our workman provided excellent customer service. Our vent had broken (my husband tried to clean it himself) and there's was lint all over the attic space. He cleaned it, repaired the vent and inspected everything.

It went well, the vent was clear, so nothing needed to be done.

Inspector advised no work was needed as the vents were very clean. There was no charge for the service as none was done but the inspection. Very friendly and honest person.

On time, professional, quick, work done as stated. Perfect!

It really needed cleaning and I could see more efficient dryer time after the service because it took less time to dry the clothes. I have a 2 story house so I was told because of how the venting system is configured it cost "more" money. I really didn't shop around enough I guess. I found out when I referred someone else I got a referral credit. Still I would've preferred paying less for my own service in the first place. Not having any experience with dryer vent cleaning, I am afraid I paid too much and next time would look for the lowest possible price and the best reviews. There was also an "issue" with getting my credit check in a timely fashion and I had to follow up several times. At least the franchise owner was "accessible".

Everything, including scheduling, was fine. They were on-time. They also showed me what they pulled out and the cost of the service was up-front and reasonable.

Was very thurough checking the vents and the dryer itself. Lint was coming out and I was worried about danger of fire. He checked and cleaned the vent and the area around it. Assured me all was safe and left everything nice and clean.

We were very pleased. It was a cleanup but it didn't need cleaning so they ended up installing a dryer vent and he only charged for the vent so I was really pleased. They did good work. They came when they said they would come. They were very professional and courteous. They cleaned up after themselves. The price was reasonable. They are all the things you look for so there's nothing negative.

The service was excellent! I am very conscious about cleaning out my lint catcher after each load of laundry. There was a lot of lint that got inside the dryer which looked like a fire hazard. We were thinking about getting a new dryer and now there is no need since the air flow is good after the service. We tried to clean the vent ourselves but without the proper equipment did not get the air flow like Dryer Wizard got..

Am not so sure I would use them again because my dryer was not drying as well as it used to and they came out and clean it and it made a mess on the side of my house and my dryer is still not drying sufficiently as it used to.

My neighbor was getting this service done. So I asked for a visual inspection and estimate for mine. The Tech was very pleasant and informative. Estimated exactly when he'd be through with the neighbor so I wouldn't have to wait around for his visit. His job took about an hour, and then he came to my house. Explained the details. No pressure, just information. Because this house is new to me, and I didn't know the timing of services previously performed, I went ahead with the job. It had been taking me about 1+1/2 hrs. of dry time. He pulled out about 2 feet of blockage (lint & dirt). The Tech explained how a blockage increases wear & tear on the Dryer element, utility bills, and is what "can" lead to fires because of the increased temp. Apparently the Tech "snakes" through the line to the outside vent, where he measures airflow and temp, and cleans and collects all the accumulation. For future referrals the company offered a referral fee to keep good (and honest) word of mouth going around. I would recommend the company even if that weren't the case. I liked that he was already doing the job for my neighbor, who is a very good shopper and home utility expert. My Tech's name is "Will" and he was extremely patient with all my questions, as I really like to understand the service being performed, how and why. He said people always have a lot of questions the first time and that's part of good customer service!

The service provider was very thorough. He cleaned out the back of the dryer and the exhaust pipe. He also checked the connections of the back of the dryer.

The technician was very thorough and professional. He cleaned an unexpected amount of lint from our dryer vent and it works like gangbusters now.

The technician was on time, pleasant, informative about my options, but did not try to pressure me into doing more than I had budgeted for. The work was done quickly and thoroughly. It was a bit pricey, but worth it. I would definitely use these folks again.

We had our dryer vent inspected and cleaned. The technician arrived exactly on schedule and proceeded to explain exactly what he would be doing. He did a thorough inspection of our vent and then laid out the plan for cleaning it and the total charges. He then completed the work and when done, showed us the increase in efficiency readings. We appreciated his professionalism and the manner in which he carefully explained all the details of his work. He left the laundry room very neat and clean and the dryer is now working much better. We would definitely use this company again. They cost a little more than others, but they are worth every penny.

They do good quality work. They are very courteous. They are a little expensive but you have confidence that the job will be done right.

I selected this company because they are in Angie's list. honor The cost was higher than average. When i called the owner for the discount listed on Angie's list she said there is a $20 discount. However, the technician said they don't honor senior discounts or any other discount.. The technician was punctual, friendly, and professional. The dryer vent cleaning was $199 and additional charge of $89 for changing the exhaust tube (that cost $ 9.00 at Home Depot) plus the tech added $29 "to avoid any increase fro next cleaning cost". Total paid was $316.00.

Team of 2, one was training the other.Arrived within time frame given. Professional, explained in detail new code to bring the vent up to date. I had purchased a set, matching washer and dryer 6 months old from Craigs List.. It had been hooked up by the prior owners for me, using the old exhaust hosing that I had. It was much better to replace the venting in the long run and he told me that it cuts down on fires. The only thing I quibbled about was the price. I was told it could be anywhere from $159 to 199. So I asked him if he did anything unusual, and he said "no" . The job went smooth and was fast, so he cut the price to the minimum. I would gladly recommend this company to everyone. They do one thing and they do it well.
