Charles Young Electric

Bought a deal for $175 for two hours of electrical work. My communication via Angle's List with the owner was stellar. He provided prompt replies and clear answers to my questions. The work was scheduled with zero hassle. Two electricians came and completed the work within an hour. I had the electricians replace a hallway fixture and two porch light fixtures. They also switched out a wall socket and were kind enough to replace the fluorescent bulbs for me in my kitchen. They were on time and personable, and were clearly seasoned professionals. Can't say enough good things about them and about this company.

I called on Sunday late afternoon around 3:00 PM and left a message. I received a call back around 4:00 from the owner Charles. I told him I had a rental property and that the tenant was complaining of an electrical outlet and light switch in the garage not working. He said he could send an electrician out the next day. I gave him the tenants phone number to schedule the exact time with them. He gave they a call immediately and got it all set up. The tenant told me the electrician arrived right on time. He said the electrician was professional and took care of business. Charles gave me a call after the work was done to explain what was done. He also emailed me an invoice. I paid him for the work over the phone via credit card. The visit was $99 and the new GFCI was $15 and there was a $3.42 credit card fee. I've added Charles Young Electric to my list of approved vendors. I was impressed that he gave me a call back late on a Sunday afternoon and was able to take care of the problem the next day. His service made me look good to the tenant.

It went well everyone conducted them selves, in a professional manner they worked cleanly and with a sense of urgency to complete there work. They even went and exchanged one of my lights that was broken coming out of the box. At no additional cost and I have to say top notch guys.

2 man crew were on time and called ahead to let me know they were on the way. They provided several drop clothes to protect the area they were working in. They were friendly and courteous. Fan looks great and works well.

He agreed to an appointment but failed to keep it and did not contact us. We waited and waited but had to leave for our wedding anniversary.

Excellent. The crew was very professional. They were here for two days and cleaned up after themselves both days. .On the last day they had to stay a little longer than plan but not I did not charge for the extra time.

Jason was the electrician for my order. At my request they bought the Fan Remote control for me and replaced my old Wall remote with the new one. The old remote was erratic. Sometimes it would work and you can turn on the light and fan and other times they would turn on but you cannot turn the light or fan off unless you use the major switch to turn it off. My minor requests was to adjust the motion sensing light outside and to move my wireless doorbell to another location for better reception. Jason and his apprentice completed all my requests to my satisfaction.

As usual, CY was on time and responsive. In the rental that I lived in, I experienced them being dedicated to getting the job done right, and working on difficult electrical projects. When I purchased my house, finding an electrician to fix the home inspection issues was a no brainer. I really appreciate that Charles reviewed my inspection, quoted me a fair price (under what I expected) and was out as soon as I moved into the house.

My experience with Charles Young Electric was very good from start to finish. The day I called with my problem, an electrician Jason, came out the same day. Jason was very knowledgeable and pleasant to talk with. He had to come back the next day because he didn't have the proper instrument to trace the dead circuit. Jason came back the next morning and fixed the dead circuit. He also fixed a switch that has been wired wrong for years. I was pleasantly surprised with the cost of the service. The cost was about half of what I expected. Dealing with Jason was like dealing with a friend. I will call Charles Young Electric, if I need electrical repair. I would not hesitate to recommend Charles Young Electric to anyone in need of electrical repair.

I contacted them via Angie's List and received a quick response the same day. We sent a couple messages back and forth to establish a time and date, and it was decided they would come out on Saturday. Jason called approximately 30 minutes prior to his scheduled arrival time to give me a heads-up that he was on the way. He arrived on-time, and after I described the problem he and his assistant went right to work. They were able to locate the problem, replace the defective outlet, and take measures to ensure I would not have the same problem again. I felt these guys did great work and were very reasonable with their pricing - not to mention I appreciated them showing up to do this job on short notice, and on Saturday.

The crew did a good and professional job wiring up the new hot tub. The fixed and replaced one of my outside lights and installed a new outside light near the hot tub. They also grounded and replaced the fixture for an outside outlet.

The work was as expected and the crew was efficient and courteous.

I was satisfied with the work performed. Electrician was professional and considerate of details, such as checking to see if drilling outside was going to cause a disturb anything hanging on the interior wall.

They were courteous and professional. They spent a lot of time a few days before the installation doing some preliminary work in order to minimize the amount of time the electricity would be off. If I ever need a professional electrician again, I will definitely call Charles Young.

Charles introduced himself and his team who were very professional. The work from the "big deal" was discussed and then the problem with the lack of electricity to the garage and a good portion of the house. After some time troubleshooting, the team was able to pinpoint the problem in the current wiring and provided a fix restoring power to three areas in the house and the garage. The work was completed quickly and the quality speaks for itself. I definitely recommend Charles Young Electric and will call on them for other projects.

It was a Big Deal purchase. Everything went well. He did a good job. The service was done in a timely fashion.

Got it done in about 30 minutes a small job and so far all is done. He came to check what was needed a week before and got it done

The technicians showed up on time, removed and installed the new light fixture, and cleaned up everything when they left. Perfect job.

The job turned out good. They were punctual to the appointment and told me ahead of time what I needed to purchase so I could save a few dollars.

Everything went smoothly. Two guys showed up and let me know that it would be $87.50 per man hour. There were two guys so it would be $175. They troubleshot and repaired the two fixtures in less than 15 minutes. I was thinking that I would have to pay $175 for the two, but the lead guy only charged me $87.50. Very fair! I am delighted with the customer service and will use them again for sure!
