He was extremely knowledgeable & worked quickly doing an excellent job.

Immediately located the problem and realized that the storms had tripped the electric and it just needed resetting.

They discovered where the problem is. One of the wall socket was burned. They were so efficient and thorough. Excellent job, e.g. both staff, very respectful and Ronda the customer service manager she made my day! Very helpful to my situation.

The workmanship was beautiful. Everything looked great, and you couldn't even tell that anyone had dug into ceiling.

George and Henry showed up exactly on time (beginning of my window), were very professional, friendly, clean and did good work. The work took just under two hours. When I received a copy of the invoice, I responded with some comments and Charles Young called me personally to discuss. I am a repeat customer and would not hesitate to use them again for any electrical need.

I left a message regarding needing outlet replaced. Charles called back promptly in less than 30 minutes. He provided an estimate for the outlet repair, including parts. And he also provide his rate for additional work, as we did not know what the problem was going to be. So at least I knew up front what I was getting into. We scheduled the appointment for Friday. He did give me an appointment window from 9:30 -noon, and explained what his guys were doing before my job, and thus the window. On Friday George and Henry called at 9:00 and said they'd be there at 9:30 if that was still good with me. They arrived on time, were courteous, professional, friendly and helpful. They dId the work we'd scheduled for the outlet and fixed the fan-light problem. I asked if they could also install a ceiling fan in a room. They gave me an estimate for the installation and I agreed. When everything was done, the overall charge for everything was less than what they'd estimated. They were very fair, efficient and did very clean work.. I had a very fair and honest electrician who I always used and recommended. But, he retired from the business. Now I have a new one, thanks to Angie's list. Charles Young is now my go to for electrical work. I have no hesitation to recommend them to my family and friends.

The crew arrived on time. they arrived on time, took charge of the work to be done. They explained what they were going to do. They completed the job in the estimated time frame. The workmanship was outstanding, they cleaned up the debris and were extremely polite and efficient in their task. I will highly recommend this company to everyone. Thanks for a pleasant experience.

I called Charles Young on Monday and we scheduled an appointment for Thursday morning between 8:30-9:30am. At 8:35am Jason and his apprentice arrived and quickly changed out my ceiling light fixture and replaced the timer that controlled my porch lights. They were polite, thorough, cleaned up after themselves and were finished by 9:30am. They were extremely professional and I would absolutely call them again to address any electrical needs. Jason even suggested that I donate the old fixture to Habitat for Humanity when I mentioned that Goodwill won't take light fixtures. Thanks Jason for the suggestion and a job well done!

The electrician was on time and very friendly and professional as he Installed my wireless light switch. It works perfectly and looks clean and nice. The electrician cleaned up after himself and even stayed and answered my questions about my under counter kitchen lighting project. I highly recommend Charles Young Electric and will use them again.

Charles was very friendly and responsive to my inquiries. He came out for an estimate soon after I contacted him. He gave me clear direction on what I needed in order to accomplish my lighting goals. His crew came right on time as promised. They finished the work in one day, exactly as described. The work was done neatly and professionally and the results are beautiful. The kitchen lighting is just what I had hoped for. During the process, I added an additional light fixture, and Charles was completely open to a slight change of plan. The outdoor lighting is perfect and is just what I wanted.. I would HIGHLY recommend Charles and would certainly use his services again in the future. My family, who was home during the work, said the crew was extremely friendly, courteous and careful while in my home, and that is something I really appreciate, too. I feel that Charles gave me a fair price for work well done.

Spoke with Charles Young on Monday and arranged to have staff install 8 recessed lights in kitchen and breakfast nook the same week on Friday. The team of 3 arrived promptly as promised and completed work in about 2 1/2 hours. They were friendly, courteous, and ensured the area was clean after the job. They were knowledgeable about the placement of the lights and structural requirements. I would use their services again.

These guys were experienced. I spoke with Charles on the phone and scheduled a service for Monday. Charles not only listened to my problem, but spoke with me for over 5 minuets explaining what may be going on and what my options were. Charles called me back the same day to see if his guys could come by since they were int he area. That was awesome! They showed up, immediately went to work, and fixed my issues while explaining what was wrong in a way I could understand. They were extremely personable and I felt really comfortable around these guys. They could have charged me the full deal but stated my requests were simple and didn't use the full two hours so they only charged me 99 bucks. I've paid way more for one switch in the garage from another company. 10/10 would hire these guys again. Considering a panel replacement and adding some switches into my home. Gonna call these guys!

Perfect. Called and asked if it would be ok to show up a little early. That's rare in the service industry. Professional and courteous. Would absolutely recommend and will use again if needed.

Charles Young had been contracted to do work in my son's condo and did an outstanding job. His work to figure out problem areas was impressive. Because of his work there, I asked him to bid on this rental property. All three electrical contractors were close in price for the work needed to be done, but my prior experience with Charles and his crew was the tipping point. As previously done, his work was outstanding and his attention to detail impressive. He is quite knowledgeable and demonstrates his professionalism in all aspects of his work. The tenant was also quite impressed with the work and the attitude of the crew who worked to limit disruption of life in the most limited of ways. They were respectful and cleaned up after their work daily.

Everything seemed to be going well, I had all of the light fixtures out of their boxes and located where they were to go. I had purchased a coupon for $175.00 for 2 hrs of work by 2 electricians, however it took them 4 hrs by 2 electricians costing me an additional $175.00. I think they could of said something when their hour was up and that they were going into additional time.

Charles Young and crew were a pleasure to work with. Charles was helpful in the initial consultation and his foreman was also helpful once he got things opened up and we had to make minor adjustments. These are professional electricians and the finished product attests to that. They know what to look for and have solutions when they run into roadblocks. High attention to detail. I received a response from the owner on the very day I posted my request, even though he just came home from his vacation. He asked me a few questions and then promised me a bid within two days. I received the bid as promised, actually a few hours earlier than had been promised, and it was comparable to another bid I had received over the phone. As Charles was a Super Service Award Winner I decided to go with him. The work was scheduled exactly when I wanted it. The two workers who showed up were Jason, who clearly knew what he was doing, and his apprentice Henry. They were both very nice gentlemen. They put down drop cloths and went right to work. Within three hours I had an ugly light box removed and six led recessed lights in my kitchen, a new chandelier over my dining table, a new ceiling fan in my living room and a new porch light installed. They cleaned up after themselves, with Henry even vacuuming the floors. I could not be happier with my experience. Love my recessed lighting!

Very professional and hard working

i saw the deal posted and the price seem fair based on other prices i had seen. 2 guys came in and the job took them 1 hour. i'm very happy with how it looked. the lead guy was polite and easy to talk to, he was very clear before starting and during the project that he had to poke holes in the ceiling and explained options that could minimize damage (this was the first of many projects for my new home so it didn't bother me). i have some other lighting projects in the future and i'm most likely going with these guys.

It was just fine. It was my daughter who was here. All I know is it turned out fine. My daughter thought it was a good experience. I'd give them a 4.

He was on time courteous and friendly. Fixed an outlet and corrected a minor problem in the service box.

Without writing a novel, here are some of the major points that impressed me: Communication with Charles via AngiesList, phone, or email was always prompt and courteous. Crew was punctual, showed up on time every time Charles and Jason showed a lot of care in figuring out a lighting solution that would fit our needs. Took the time to make sure that lines were straight, spacing was even, etc. Professional and efficient with time Brought drop cloths and a vacuum, cleaned up after themselves Stood by their work: a switch failed after a couple of weeks and they promptly swapped it out free of charge. Charles will definitely be the first person I call for future electrical needs.
