Everything went well, the crew arrived on time, they were very fast and friendly. I have used Charles Young Electric in the past, and I will continue to use them. I am a very satisfied customer.

Response time good fair price and installation done well, couldn't ask for more

We had a new water heater installed a few days ago but plumber didn't want to hook up the electrically after recognizing that the electrical connection was not grounded (we bought an expensive heat pump water heater system and for sure didn't want it to be fried). Wanting hot water again, we immediately tried calling around for electricians off Yelp and had no success. We used Angie's List message function to get in contact with electricians, and Charles Young replied almost immediately (other's Angie's List providers responded hours later; this is in contrast to the "highly rated" electricians on Yelp who largely didn't even bother to call back). Charles called me to make sure we actually needed his services (he was shocked that our house would not have water heater line grounded, however our house is old and we're finding weird non-code worthy work all over the house). He would have been able send out a electrician later that day, but we had to wait a couple days because of our own personal scheduling conflicts. Work was done today and very quickly and for a very good price, essentially the cost of a service call. With how much we are spending for good quality work to be done around the house, we were thrilled with the affordable cost of services by Charles Young's company. We are pleased and would use their services again.

Everything went smoothly for me. I emailed their office with my requests and they responded promptly with estimated costs and scheduling an appointment with me. The techs arrived as per expected. They were very polite and professional. I would definitely use this company again!

The response to my email was very quick and they were abke to fit me into tbe schedule that same day. The two electritions calked ahead to guve me an eta. They arrived when expected and were courtious, professional and did an excellent job. They even cleaned up after themselves. I will hire them again.

Marcus and crew arrived just as promised, and they completed the job which was more labor intensive than I originally suspected, but the job was done great, and I am a very satisfied customer. Well, came on time, completed the work and was neat.

It went very well. These guys were fast! I ran errands because I thought installing 8 lights would take all day. About 2 hours later, I received a call that they were finished. The lights really brighten and upate my 1970's era townhouse. The lights look like they are good quality. Charles had a great idea to put dimmers on both the dining and living room switches. I am really pleased with the project overall. I mark down to a B for professionalism. They packaged the project trash and left it out neatly. I would have preferred if the crew took the trash with them. The box is too big to easily fit in my garbage can. There was a lot of drywall dust left on the floor. For full disclosure, I didn't leave a broom for the team.

I needed an electrician asap or my project would would stopped and I would have had to wait another two months for the subcontractor to return. Charles Young responded within an hour of my voice mail and had an electrician at my house within two hours. They saved my project!!

Charles called me back the same day that I left a message with him. My appointment was scheduled promptly. The electrician arrived on time, was very polite and professional. The work was done without any problems and I couldn't be happier with the results! I would definitely use this company again for any electrical issues.

New ceiling fan works great and the other electrical issues were solved. Everything was cleaned up nicely. The crew was on time, polite, professional and easy to work with. The cost was very reasonable.

First and foremost, Charles himself was very quick to return my call for both appointments. He was very quick to understand what I was asking for and quoted me a ballpark figure on the phone which turned out to be what I paid. That helps to verify his experience and that alone saves a lot of time in making a decision. His technicians were prompt on both visits and very professional and polite. There was a minor adjustment needed after the cabinet lighting was completed but they were quick to return within a day. It was refreshing to deal with an honest and reasonable contractor who has reliable people working for him.

Charles and his crew were great as usual. Charles is very knowledgeable of his profession. He is excellent at troubleshooting and finding cost effective solutions for electrical issues. He and his crew spent a couple days performing a lot of electrical work at my new house including installing a new electrical panel, ceiling fans, canned lighting, and grounded a couple plugs and did some other misc. wiring. He and his crew are friendly, professional, and efficient. Charles is always very responsive to my questions and concerns and cares about meeting my electrical service needs. Charles is also reasonably priced. If you want a professional electrician who will do it right, call Charles Young Electric.

The two technicians worked very efficiently and minimized the time needed on top of the ladder. They were done with both jobs in about one hour and charged the quoted price.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I wanted to have my old chandelier removed and install a new one. Chose this company because of the good reviews but I had nothing but trouble with them. I scheduled a service for yesterday, I told the electrician will come in between 12-4. At 11:30am, I received a call stating that the electrician ran into a "huge trouble" and will be late so they re-scheduled me to 2pm-6pm. Hours later, the electrician still wasn't here. I called again at 4:30pm and was told that the he wouldn't able to come. Would have been nice they called me to let me know. I was re-scheduled today at 2pm. Received a call early morning asking if they can come early around 11:30am-12pm. I did not agree because it was bad enough that I had to get off work early. So we re-scheduled at 1pm instead. The guys were on time but unprofessional. The big, tall guy brought a cellphone charger and immediately plugged it in the wall socket without asking if its okay, asked where the new chandelier is and I said it's upstairs. He started walking up the stairs and I told him to take his shoes off but won't so I had to get the chandelier down, resulting to it getting all tangled up. I was given a $200 dollar quote on the phone for installation and the price went up to $600 when they got here because of "additional things they have to do". I declined and was asked to pay $99 dollars for coming out although NO SERVICE was provided to me. I spoke to the owner and was told that I absolutely have to pag because his people has to be paid for their time. I also NOT told about this fee and my supposed consolation was that they would give me $99 credit for next time. They wouldn't leave till I gave them a check, it felt like being robbed. Scam

It went very well. The electricians arrived timely. They got right to work. They did a marvelous job and even put in a new switch box when the old one wasn't up to their standards. I definitely would recommend this company and in fact will be calling on them again to put a fan in my family room. They were the best and I give my highest recommendation to this company and their staff.
