I called first thing this morning and within no time two fine, professional and courteous gentlemen came to my assistance. I live alone with my dogs. They diagnosed and located the problem within a very short time and disconnected the wire from the power source. So happy. Now I can sleep tonight. :-)

I located Charles Young Electric via Angie's List. I e-mailed Mr Young with a request for an estimate for work that had already been completed. I fully explained the situation, and described my garage .... where there was already a 'pig-tail' coming out of the wall ... so he would know what needed to be done. I had another company install a water heater, which included an electrical disconnect. This company, Delta Mechanical (headquartered out of Arizona), is the company that Home Depot uses when you arrange for a water heater installation via Home Depot. While the work performed was acceptable, and the worker performing the work was professional and competent, the price paid for the installation was excessive. - I did not perform my 'due diligence' before I allowed Delta Mechanical to do the installation. A HUGE mistake on my part. The only good thing is that Delta Mechanical has a 'price match' program where I would be able to get a discount (I think 10% - not much but better than nothing) based upon plumber/electrician estimates obtained after-the-fact of installation. Mr Young responded to my e-mail in a timely manner. He did provide an estimate for what he would have charged to install the electrical disconnect (yes I would have saved a lot of money). I was able to submit my plumber's estimate and Mr Young's estimate to Delta Mechanical. And yes I'm still waiting for a response from Delta Mechanical!

I purchased a deal for $99 for 2 hours of electrical work. They did their job well, they were efficient.

The service was very good. They were very nice and took care of everything. I was happy with their work.

I thought they were professional and they did a really god job. The only problem was that they put the box close to a plug-in box that made it hard to open. I would use them again. The scheduling was smooth. They got the job done in about one hour.

Charles provided a detailed estimate, was responsive, professional, and punctual. The electrical needed to be added and run the entire length of the house, and an outlet added in the kitchen. The electricians that did the work were very knowledgable, had great attention to detail, cleaned up after themselves, and were very nice. I've had the new electrical in place for over a month and all is well. I didn't do a lot of cost comparisons so hard to comment on the price - I ran it by a contractor friend and he said it looked reasonable. I will definitely use Charles Young again and would recommend them to others.

I spoke with Charles and he mentioned I purchased the "big deal" for new installation of overhead lighting in lieu of a simple retrofit, therefore it was suggested I request a refund. Charles is obviously very honest. I spoke to him today right after the purchase in order to schedule the work.

Charles Young Electric provided excellent service and installation of our new canned lights. Purchased the package for 4 canned lights to be installed listed on Angie's List. Great value for the price. CYE electrician came out, assessed the area in which we wanted them installed and went to work. Appreciate the great work.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They were fantastic. I paid additional because they did more work than the Big Deal. It was not cheap.

Took way too long for simple installation; not well planned or executed.

Mr. Young was very professional and helpful. He fully explained what it would take in time and money to make each repair. I was very impressed with his punctuality and professionalism. I would highly recommend them to others.

Fixed breaker box to activate a 220 outlet

2 techs were sent over to install a new exhaust fan in my hall bathroom. There had never been one in there before. They both were very friendly. I also asked that they check some can lights in the upstairs hall for any wiring issues. We just moved in and I wanted to make sure everything was ok. The job took about 3 hours. They cleaned up all their stuff and I was able to pay with a cc and they were on their way.

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List and their services turned out very well. I ended up spending more than the big deal purchase. They did a good job. They responded to my needs. Actually they did a little bit more than the big deal suggested, over and above the extra $90. I am planning to use them again.

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List and they actually did the work just fine within an hour. There were two guys that came. They were there for another half an hour, while one guy talked on the phone to his boss to know what they were going to charge and what their next job was, etc., and then they charged me for the time for two guys, which kind of bothered me. So that is why I have not left a feedback for them. The guys worked fast and they got the job done.

I did pay him extra because when he showed up he brought a helper because he was too big to big to get up in my attic so then he charged me double. So, that wasn't my fault that he was too big to get up to my attic. I won't use him again but the work they did was okay.

Two employees came out and they did not seem knowledgeable enough to do the job. They installed the timers incorrectly and could not figure out the faulty wiring so I used another company.

On time, polite, genuine wish to help.

Nearly a year ago I bought 2 man-hours of work for $99 through Angie's List. I finally got around to using it! When I contacted Charles Young Electric, they got back to me within a day. We set up the appointment. Two men were sent out to do the job. They showed up on time and they were very friendly and professional. The work took longer than an hour, but they worked quickly and efficiently to get the jobs done in a total of 1 hour 30 minutes. They cleaned up well after the work was finished. I will be calling them back to get more work done for me in the future.

Charles promptly returned my phone call and requested additional information. Charles offered suggestions for me to isolate and troubleshoot the problem if i was comfortable working with electricity. Furthermore, he scheduled a time the very next day to come out and work on the problem if I was not able to resolve it myself. His suggestions were perfect and allowed me to correct the problem myself. Excellent customer service and I would call him again if I ever needed any electrical work performed in my home.
