Description of Work: I bought a hanging drum light that I wanted installed in a corner of my upstairs family room where there was no electrical light before I did not realize how much labor was involved. The too men who came were wonderful one had to go up into the ceiling through mounds of insulastion which was about 30 feet from where he entered. They had to drill a hole in the ceiling wire it to a new switch on the wall on the other side of the room which makes it easy to turn on. The other had to determine where I wanted it and how long I wanted it to hang. It was much more work than I thought. They were exceptional and cleaned up every drop of dust before they left. I will definately use them again if I need more electrical work.

Description of Work: Charles changed 4 lights and one fan in house. Service was top notch, fast. These guys know what they're doing and are very simply honest. Strongly recommend them.

Description of Work: They did an overall evaluation of the electrical system in my old house, then spent some time fixing problems in the attic. I'm very pleased with the service and communication and would definitely hire them again.

Description of Work: I purchased the "Last Chance for $99.00 Deal as I wanted to swap out my two older celing fans/light fixtures for two new ones. We were disapointed, at first, when we discovered that it would be a few weeks before the workers could come out and install the new fans due to the work that needed to be done; however, the owner called earlier then the scheduled date and the two fixtures were installed professionally by two of his workers at the stated cost. We are very happy with the results and would certainly use this company in the future!!

Description of Work: Charles Young and company did an excellent job of installing (not replacing) a new ceiling fan in my office/den. They were punctual, professional and the job was A-1 quality. I care for an elderly father who was still sleeping when the work was completed and the work was completed quietly and efficiently. Great clean up, too!

Description of Work: Moving a dining room hanging light to center on the dining table. Marcus and David were very personable, polite and cared about our needs. They had suggestions to better secure and locate the light and I would use this electrician again.

Description of Work: I've used Charles Young Electric for many projects over the years. I recently built an outdoor kitchen, which required all new electrical. He & his crew were very reliable, efficient, responsive, punctual, & thorough. It was a very complicated job, and he completed without any problems.

Description of Work: I contacted Anything Electric after purchasing a deal on Angies list. I needed a cat-6 cable ran from first floor to second floor office. I was informed that they did not do this type of wiring, but would be happy to pull the wires if I wanted to do the final hookup. This was fine for me. They arrived on time, were polite, and even spent an hour of his own time trying to see if alternatives would work so I would not have to use my angies list deal. They ended up doing the work warning me that "we will punch a bunch of holes in your walls and make quite a mess". THEY DIDN'T!!! They had to only put 5 holes in the wall, cleaned up after their selves, and the drywall repair I did myself in a couple of hours. Very satisfied.

Description of Work: Charles Young Electric hung a ceiling fan I had ordered in my bedroom. They did a great job, and I am pleased with the product, and the information they gave me about my product. They were efficient and professional and I would definitely hire them for additional services.

Description of Work: Purchased a Big Deal coupon for 2 hours of service. Appointment scheduled the next day. David did a great job replacing a light fixture and trouble shooting, rebuilding and repairing a series of outdoor lights. Was very pleased with the work done. Would definitely hire again.

Description of Work: These guys are awesome! They traveled to Vacaville, which is outside their usual area, for a small fee. They helped us pick out the best arrangement for our new lights, and did a fantastic job of putting them in. They had the lights installed, dimmer switch working, cleaned up, and out of the house in 3 hours. Fantastic deal, and great company!

Description of Work: Charles and another worker arrived on time and discussed the job for a few minutes then got the job done promptly ( installed 6 recessed lights in kitchen and adjoining hallway. I was able to combine another deal I had purchased from this company to help cover the 2 extra lights. I would use this electrician again.

Description of Work: Charles Electric was really great. I had a light that I could not turn off and the wall switch plate was getting warm. I was worried enough that I contacted him after midnight on a weekday. He called me right back in a few minutes and after getting a description of the problem he provided me a solution that would work until and he would come by the next day. Him and his brother showed up right when they said he would. He changed out the dimmer switch and check the outlets. They were both very courteous, fast and efficient. I have already recommended him to another friend. I would definitely use this company again.

Description of Work: He and his assistant fixed the fluorescent light in the kitchen and the motion trigger light in front. They answered all my questions and did a great job. Broken ballast on the kitchen light and the outside light fixture needed to be replaced. They were on time. Then the fixed the kitchen light and front light at my girlfriend's house. They examined why the lights were broken (switch on one, fixture on another). The charge was definitely reasonable for all the work they did. The lights work great now.
