He stopped by for an estimate, showed up on time and did an excellent job. I had to leave the house before he was done, so I paid him and he was just getting started. When I came back later that day it was done to perfection.

As stated in other reviews this is a no frills company: ie no formal receipts (address stamp on a piece of paper), no business cards, a plain business truck without logos, a phone number that only rings after 5 during the week and weekends and they don't accept credit cards. If you're ok with all that and want an affordable good gardener then this is a company for you. I have a very tiny piece of dirt that needed plants. The nice gentleman and I discussed putting succulents in so I could have something nice planted while acknowledging the drought we're enduring and the infrequent watering's allowed by our association. We had a little problem with communicating, if the plant flowered, I wanted orange or white flowers only. He brought white and pink. Not what I wanted but not that big a deal in the grand scheme of things. The flowers look nice and its not just dirt anymore. So I'm happy. Caution though if you want to reach them or leave a message after hours, they don't have an answering machine or answering service so your call just rings and rings.

This is the 5th gardener I've tried in the past 4 years. The last one sent 2 guys who ran the leaf blower with such force, some of the flying debris hit one of my many hummingbirds and mortally wounded it. So I fired that one after 2 visits. I called Jasmines Landscaping and was pleased to find out that a woman who speaks English answered the phone, took down all of my information and set up an appointment for the next day. The owner arrived on time for the appointment. I found that I could communicate well enough with him in person. I explained the problems I'd had with the past companies. We live in a condo, but have a rather large back yard. We have 10 trees, a dry stream bed, and ground cover, not grass. Besides cleaning up all the leaves that fall, the ground cover needs to be trimmed by hand, the ferns need to be trimmed of dead fronds, etc. A lot of the work has to be done by hand. Most importantly, I didn't want a repeat of the dead hummingbird. He started work the next day. The owner and his helper Vicente were both very nice as well as hard workers. They used a leaf vacuum in my succulent bed, ground cover and the dry stream bed. They very gently used the blower on the patios and under the trees. They trimmed back the jasmine which had become overgrown on our arbor due to total neglect by the previous gardeners. They cleaned out the fern bed (which had also been totally ignored previously) and trimmed back the ground cover. In subsequent weeks they trimmed when it is needed and keep the leaves cleaned up. They don't need to spend as much time, but it all averages out with the extra work they did the first visit. They have been very reliable about showing up each week. I am super happy with the way my yard looks and the job that they do. I highly recommend Jasmines Landscaping.

They arrived on time, did the work, cleaned up after themselves, and charged what they said they would. The only thing that worried me a bit was that they never gave me a business card or a receipt.

They do a phenomenal job. Great attention to detail, they will go above and beyond and they do not cut corners. I'd say the only issue I have with them, if there is one, is that the proprietor doesn't speak very good English so communicating with him was not easy. Although, we haven't done very much of it mostly because we don't know how to mostly. I know that if I call, there are family members with better English skills that I could utilize, but that's a small problem in consideration for the phenomenal work they do. It is certainly not a barrier for me to continue to work with them.

They arrived a little late but it worked out fine since I was busy doing other things around the house. Upon arrival, they immediately started working with a 2 men crew. They were fast and were out of here in about 3 hrs. I will use them again next year.

It looks quite good. I wasn't at home to see them working. I would use them again.

Jasmine's lawncare is owned by a wonderful family....They arrived promptly at 4:30, as promised, on Friday, 11/26/10, to provide me with a quote to trim-back all of the VERY OVERGROWN foliage and trees in my back yard patio area. I felt the estimate of $150 was fair, given the extensive nature of the project. We agreed they would come back the following day, Saturday, 11/27/10, to complete the job at 2:30 pm. They arrived promptly at 2:30 pm the following day and quickly began to work. The total job took about 3 hours, and they were very efficient, neat and clean. They sprayed off my patio after completing the job and wound-up my patio hose. I was VERY VERY satisfied. They recommended that I cut back a very overgrown tree, explaining to me the reasons why. It is clear this is a great team of professionals, and I would defintely hire them again in the future, or recommend them to anyone I know.

I won't say they are very detail oriented. The overall work is done but they break things once in a while. We had 2 sprinkler heads chopped off and some lawn edgings broken at different times. We had a window broken (outside pane of glass cracked through an impact, probably with a power tool, concluded by the mark left on the screen) last December. I am sure it's accidental but they can be more careful when working near windows. They are hard working people and are cooperative most of the time. We are still hiring them for their weekly professional service.

He is very professional, always knows what needs to be done, sends a bill monthly and offers additional services if desired. Best gardener I've had in 15 years!

Mr. Kang came with his daughter during the first consult to give the estimate. They were not pushy at all and had suggestions. He came on two weekends with two workers to first remove our old lawn and treat the weeds and remove the bushes. The second weekend he came with two workers again to start laying out the lawn and more clean up work. They were prompt, polite and professional. I would use them again.

They came on time and are very efficient. They do neat work at a reasonable price, and are really good.

The owner came early and brought an assistant. They left the property looking gorgeous - the best it had ever looked.

Jasmines has been doing our yard for more than a year. They are always on time, their work is thorough, and carefully performed. They also fertilize the lawn and spray for bugs. They always clean up, and are very willing to do a little extra to keep our yard looking great.
