Beautiful workmanship and no extra charges or changes in what we had agreed. I had to wait my turn because he's so busy, but it was worth it.

I spoke with the owner who scheduled an appointment to come to my house the next day. He did not show up did not call very unprofessional. Maybe he did not show because it was a small job. However, should not have scheduled an appointment.

Mr. Pennebaker was very accommodating with our personal schedule and very responsive to all questions and concerns. The only complaint is the delay caused by the cabinet maker, though his work turned out beautifully. All other subs were terrific - at work on time exactly as scheduled and the work was excellent. We highly recommend the heated bath floor - love it! The tile work is exceptional and we also are very pleased with the granite and marble countertops. Mr. Pennebaker really worked to keep the project moving smoothly.

The quaility of the remodel was impeccable. The whole process took longer than anticipated but the end result was with it.

The project went well overall. The quality of the work is good and I'm happy with result. The project took much longer than anticipated; instead of three weeks it took two months. This was my first time hiring a contractor. In the future, I will make sure I insist in a re detailed review of the entire project from the beginning to avoid surprises.

He did excellent work. He put off the job a tiny bit later than we wanted but it wasn't really his fault.

Dave was very knowledgeable and helpful in the planning of the job, selection of material sources, etc. Sometimes communication from him lagged. The work done by Dave and his tile subcontractor was very good. All in all, we are quite happy with the results.

Everything went smooth. During demolition dry rot was found. Dave and his crew were able to get all necessary parts to complete installation promptly. There was sheet rock and stucco work needed. Everything was accomplished quickly and professionally. I would give Pennebacker B+ or A-. During installation one of the corners of the screen door was bent. This caused a lot of friction when operating the screen door. Someone familiar with screen door installation should have quickly found and resolved the problem. I fixed the problem with a pair of pliers.

They were very professional, made good suggestions, were on time,cleaned up well, and their workmanship was excellent. Their price was reasonable.

David and his crew worked here the last two weeks of Sept to 1st week of December 2009 redoing someone else's mistakes and creating our sparkling and beautiful bathroom, making sure we had a back porch that is in keeping with our house and made a set of stairs that enhance our yard and connect our house to the yard that is two stories below. The Music Studio- the 16x16 building he created from the kit we bought has brought us great pleasure-it's amazing. They never left us wondering where they were, they did everything that they said they would do and more. I would never hire anyone else if I had anything that needed remodeling or adding on to. We are still using the deck he put in 13 years ago (we mistakenly bought a sliding door that we found out could only be installed from the outside). Two floors up-we had to put up a deck in order to fix the hole in the wall we had lived with all winter. We found Dave and the rest is history! Last week we had trouble with the plumbing under the sink that his plumber had installed during the remodel in 2009. We called Pennebaker and he not only gave me the name and number of the plumber who had done the installation, he called him personally and had the plumber call me. The plumber had his foreman stop on his way home and fix the leak. He arrived at 7 and was finished by 8:30. No wonder I hold David Pennebaker in such high regard! He stands by his work 100%! David Pennebaker not only does superior remodeling; he stands by work previously done and does his best to make sure everything is made right is something should go wrong!

Every job has been handled professionally and executed in a timely manner. We have been very satisfied with the work and always feel like we are getting a good deal. We plan to continue using Pennebaker Construction on our home and rental remodels and repairs. We recommend Pennebaker Construction on a regular basis to our friends and family.

He does great work. His prices are reasonable in regards to the type of work that we had done. My husband thinks he's grumpy, but I like him. He is concerned about his work and that is what is important. He comes in, gets the job done, and goes home. The work that he does is what is important to me. He made a really nice set of stairs outside. He is not outrageously expensive. If we have anything that needs to be done, like a kitchen, he is the first guy I call.
