+ -1 moreWe had a 50 year old asphalt driveway that was uneven and badly cracked. We had hoped we could get by with just grinding and filling the cracks and coating the whole surface with asphalt filler. The result was unsatisfactory. After the repair the surface was just as uneven as before, and the patches over the cracks were still visible. Moreover, the cracks themselves reappeared shortly after. We then hired another contractor Mark Raine who recommeded that the old asphalt be dug out and replaced. He also recommended separating the new asphalt from an adjoining garden by inserting trex boards. The old asphalt had just been cut away when the area was recently landscaped. Mark did a very professional job in a timely manner and at a very fair price. The driveway looks great now. In fact a neighbor recently told how good it looks and asked us how to contact Mark to repair her driveway.
Description of Work: Dug out and removed approximately 475 sq. ft. of cracked and damaged asphalt. Recompacted the existing base rock and added rock where needed. Installed a trex board to existing layout. Installed approx. 3'' of new asphalt and compacted int on the above area of approximately 475 sq. ft.

+ -1 moreThe job went well. Arrived shortly after the appointed time (8:00 am) and finished the job prior to noon.
Description of Work: Clean existing asphalt, install rubberized crack filler to existing cracks, install i coat of slurry sealer to apporx. 6,880sq ft.
