the work took less than an hour - will call on him every time i need help with our appliances :)

It had a manufacturer defect warranty that he was able to come quickly with the correct part, and popped it out and my freezer stopped leaking and it's been beautiful. I want to say it took him an hour and a half to finish the work. It went faster than he thought and he gave me a break on the price. He was friendly.

They were courteous, prompt, efficient and knowledgeable. I would recommend them and use them again.

I called Tony and asked if he could do the work. He asked a couple of short diagnostic questions, then said, yes, and asked me to text my address, phone, and a photo of the model sticker to him. Later that day, he asked if I was at home - he had been able to clear some time to work on the dishwasher. I said yes, and he came right over, after asking me to empty dishes and remove the bottom rack. My dishwasher model, instead of having a filter for food particles, has a grinder, like a garbage disposal. It turned out that that had failed and needed replacement. Tony explained the issue and said the part would cost about $45. With the visit and labor charge, the total would be $170. He also showed me how to do basic troubleshooting, advised me on what dishwashing products to use, looked through the products I was using and gave me the thumbs up, and gave me free maintenance advice on my stove. I really appreciated how thorough, helpful, and informative he was. He tested his work and then took a mix of cash and check for payment. Very helpful in all aspects. After he left, I tested with a quick dishwasher load, and am happy to report that it's working like it was new again.

Tony recommended purchase of same model. Purchased it from Amazon.com and he installed it within a day. He removed the old disposal and volunteered to replace all the items I had cleared out of the under-sink cabinet.

Tony was able to diagnose and repair a broken hose inside our washing machine that a previous repair tech was unable to find. He also fixed our oven door.

Same day service, friendly manner, I can easily recommend Tony for this kind of work.

He was very responsive to all communication and showed up on schedule. He detailed the repair and replacement options and the prices for each. I opted for repair and he worked quickly to finish in under an hour. The work is excellent and the dryer is as good as new.

My initial call was returned promptly. He informed me he was with a customer and would call me back in the evening. There was flexibility in his schedule to work with my schedule! He asked for the machine serial number ahead of time so that he could order the part. He arrived perfectly on time, professional, knew exactly what was wrong, explained good care and how to maintain the machine. There was some rattling when I used the machine as I had moved the dryer and air vent. He came back and put in additional bolts and tightened up the air catcher, voluntarily repaired the venting foil and clamp, checked out the flow and did not charge me any extra, though it was my fault. I offered to pay and he did not accept it. TRULY WONDERFUL in this economic environment today. I GIVE HIM MY HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION!!!! He could not have been more helpful.

Right away it was clear Tony knew what he was doing. Had all the right tools and started disassembling the dishwasher smoothly. Noticing that I was interested in what he was doing, he gave me a running commentary on what he was doing and why. I learned a lot.

Work done in less than an hour, great advice on use of the Bosch dishwasher. Couldn't be happier with Tony's work and the very reasonable pricing.

Answered first phone call on the first attempt and made an appointment for the very next day. Arrived within the time window given and quickly resolved the issue. Even called & texted later in the day to make sure all was still good after he left. Very professional!

Toni was fantastic! He promptly returned my call within a couple hours and was able to come out to my home the next morning. Our dryer was suddenly emitting a strong electrical burning smell days before leaving town for a few weeks. We had loads of laundry to do so needed the unit fixed ASAP. I originally purchased the unit through Pacific Sales with an extended warranty but upon trying to schedule a warranty repair I was warned that lint cleaning wouldn't be covered. They were going to send a company out to take a look but warned me I'd have to pay if it wasn't warranty work. The company they contracted had horrible reviews on Yelp (we're talking less than 1 star) so I decided to forget about the warranty and find someone on Angie's List that could give my unit a thorough cleaning and diagnose the issue fast. I found Toni and was pleased with his positive reviews and distance to my home. He scheduled me for an 8-11am window but said he would call when he was 15 minutes out so I wouldn't have to wait around. As promised Toni called that morning at 8:40 am to say he was on his way. He arrived shortly thereafter and immediately got to work. He took the entire unit apart as promised and showed me exactly where the burning was coming from and the lint that was causing it near the open gas flame. He cleaned all the lint out (and it was everywhere!) and put the machine back together again good as new. He also detected that the duct from the machine to the wall had become badly caved in because the washer had been pushed too far back against it. He said the air passage was severely blocked and this is why the lint was building up in my machine. He had a new, much higher quality duct replacement in his vehicle and replaced it immediately. The part installed by Pacific Sales was very cheap and bent easily, closing the passage way for the lint to travel outside if needed. The part Toni had on hand was reinforced to help prevent denting. I was worried I was going to have to give my dryer a thorough cleaning annually but Toni reassured me that with the new duct and keeping the machines where he placed them I shouldn't have any trouble at all. He was even nice enough to clean out my dishwasher filter, as he was reviewing with me which appliances require any type of routine maintenance. I would definitely recommend Toni to anyone in need of a knowledgeable, professional and kind appliance repair man. Thank you, Toni!

I called him on Saturday and asked if he could repair my 20 year old washer which was no longer spinning at all. He asked the brand name and said that with this brand of that age the problem was almost certainly the transmission. He said he would hate to take my money for a service call when he was almost positive that he'd be advising me to buy a new one anyway. I thanked him for his honesty. Later that day I saw that I'd given him the wrong brand name. I called him with the real brand name, and he asked if it was only the spin and not both the spinning and the agitation that weren't happening. I fiddled with the machine and determined that it was both. Calling him once again, he said that it probably was a small part which was broken, and not the transmission. He came on Monday to repair the machine. I used to work in surgery. This man should have been a surgeon. He didn't hesitate at any point. It was as if he had practiced all the steps in this particular repair a million times. He never wasted a motion, but took the front of the machine off, disconnected some wiring, removed clips and screws and had the motor out in less than one minute. Seriously! Unbelievable speed and efficiency. The man is amazing. He removed and replaced the broken part in another minute, and put everything back together. He then took about three minutes to balance my machine properly so it would work better. I am still, hours later, smiling at the skill of Mr. Hariri. He is the guy I will call for any appliance repair from now on. All of this and he's a nice guy, too.

Very prompt, courteous, and quick

He pushed back something fierce when it came to getting him to come out to take a look. I asked him for a recommendation for someone that COULD do the work, but the number he gave was disconnected. I didn't even want to consider calling him back for any further information due to the manner in which I was handled previously.

Tony fixed my dryer in a fast efficient way. He got the model number before hand, and came with all the relevant parts to do a good job.

I had talked to Tony prior to scheduling an appointment about brands and he advised me to buy a new unit from Amazon - which I had already decided to do in any case. When it arrived I scheduled an appointment. Tony called when he was on the way - some delay due to traffic. He is very professional, replaced the unit which took about an hour, cleaned the area, and put the old unit and parts out in the trash. I had obtained two other quotes - one for $400 and one for $500. These prices included a 1/2 hp lower quality disposal that retailed for about $100. I got a high end, 3/4 hp unit for $140 from Amazon plus $145 for Tony.

I left a message and he called me back in 10 minutes. He came out and said we had too many suds in our dishwasher. He showed me what he was talking about. He put a chemical in it and cleaned up the soap. He cycled the dishwasher to make sure it would run okay. He asked if I need anything else, I had him look at the burners on the stove that wouldn’t like. He took the top off and cleaned out some vent holes and changed the fan that would run without lighting the burners. He gave me the price, I wanted to give more for the fixing the stove but he wouldn’t let me. He was very nice and very helpful. He gave me advice on the type of appliances to buy. He was very thorough and quick.

I called him and he returned my call promptly. At first he said he didn't work on Bosch but interviewed me about the problem. Once he was able to diagnose what it was, he agreed that he could help (and he diagnosed the problem correctly). He kept me informed of his ability to get the proper parts and when he could show up. He is a good communicator, extremely polite, clearly skilled at understanding how washing machines fail, on-time, honest, and just what you want in a repairman. He also made sure the area was cleaned when he'd finished and suggested a better positioning for the washer. He also answered my questions about the brand he'd buy for himself. The ice-maker in my Whirlpool Gold refrigerator-freezer stopped working six months ago and I called Tony. He scheduled a service call for the next day, arrived promptly, explained exactly what was wrong and ordered the part needed to fix it. Tony arrived as scheduled when the part arrived, which was pretty quickly, fixed the ice-maker and charged a very reasonable amount for the service calls and repair. Six months later (this past weekend) the ice-maker stopped working again. So I called Tony and he picked up the likely replacement parts and rearranged his schedule to come out today to check it out. This was very helpful, as I will be traveling and needed to get it done quickly. He arrived this morning, diagnosed the problem and advised me that the same part failed as last time. He had it fixed in about ten minutes. I was a little surprised to learn that the manufacturer only warrants its parts for 90 days, but was even more surprised when Tony refused to charge me for the replacement part, saying he would contact the manufacturer to see if they would warrant it despite it being outside of the warranty period. And the even bigger surprise was that he refused to accept payment for the service call. I don't think there are a lot of other appliance technicians out there who provide this level of personal service and stand behind their work. I can't recommend Hi-Tech Appliance Repair and Tony Hariri highly enough.

The repairman, Tony, returned my call promptly. Helped me locate the serial number on the dishwasher. He called back with a cost estimate the next day. Once I gave him the ok, he ordered the part and scheduled a convenient time for the repair. He came on time, made the repair and did a trial run to be sure everything worked. The whole process took only 2 days and one service call. Tony was very knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend H.A.R. Update: Again Tony was extremely professional, knowledgeable and able to help me with a series of issues with my large home appliances. He did it all at a reasonable price. I couldn't recommend him higher.
