Brannick and Associates Painting Services

The home was brand new when we purchased it two years ago. We have been living with the builder-painted white walls since we moved in, and we finally decided it was time to add color. Patrick was very responsive and came out to see us on a Saturday in order to do an estimate. He was helpful in explaining our options, and also in explaining why we should use the high-end paint he uses instead of going with paint that my wife can get with her corporate discount. Along with the quote, Patrick provided a copy of his business license as well as a copy of his bond. Once our contract was signed, we gave him our colors, and he brought brush-outs to the house for us to see how the colors would look in the rooms under different lighting conditions. On the day the painters were to start, a crew of 4 arrived and got to work right away. They were professional, and we are happy with their work. They had to move furniture and stuff out of the way in order to paint, and when they left, they cleaned up after themselves and put everything back in its place. During the initial phases of painting, Patrick did an impromptu color consultation regarding the accent walls. We took his advice, and are happy with the way things turned out. They left plenty of touch-up paint behind, and provided the specs that we would need if we ever need to order new paint. When the time comes to paint the outside of our house, I'm sure we will be calling Patrick.

The painter was very fast and did a very good job. The original appointment was for a Friday, but was cancelled on early Friday morning due to the painter's car troubles. Was rescheduled for the next day (Saturday) so it was not too big of a problem.

Patrick's four man crew (who have been with him for several years) was very professional. They spent a total of seven days painting our house (one story). They cleaned up at the end of each day. Once the crew arrived I asked Patrick if he knew anyone who could do some minor carpentry work. Fortunately, he had someone on his crew who could do this work and did this much to our satisfaction. Patrick came by each day to see how everything was going and to check in with me. Patrick told us at the beginning of the process that once he was done it would seem like we had a new house. He was right. Our neighbors have commented on how nice our house looks. Far and away the best experience I have ever had with a contractor. I cannot recommended him highly enough. (Oh, one final comment. Patrick's total cost was very reasonable. He did more work for less than other quotes we received.)

The painters were hard working and the paint was good looking.

We found Patrick on Angie's list and feel SO LUCKY that we did. Not only was his team able to get the job done on a tight timeline (they were literally finishing the morning before we moved in), but the service was beyond compare. Patrick was always punctual, responsive, and true to his word. But more importantly, Patrick is not just a painter, he's a visionary. He walked through our house with us room by room, helped us envision the atmosphere we wanted to create in each space, and recommended colors that would achieve that. He helped us showcase certain elements and hide others, all with the magic of paint colors, shades, and textures. In the end, the paint job totally transformed our space from drab to warm, inviting, and homey. I highly recommend Patrick!

Patrick was amazing from start to finish. The tenant we had in the rental unit had been in there for over 7 years so it was in bad shape and needed a full re-painting. Patrick was super responsive and helped me with the paint colors and was very flexible with the timing. He had his guys out there painting within just a couple of days of the first contact even though it was between Christmas and New Years. The guys were great and prompt the day of painting. Patrick even helped me to realize I didn't need to paint the ceilings even though he could have just done it and made more money. A couple of spots needed touch-ups after the project and again Patrick was right there to touch-up and make sure I was happy. I have already asked him to do the painting in another one of our rental units that was completely gutted due to a fire then subsequent water damage. This time Patrick is again helping me with color choices and helping me to save money by painting the cabinets rather than replacing. I really can't say enough. Patrick is just really pleasant to work with and so responsive and experienced. I'm just really happy to have found such a great contact. UPDATE on 5/20/2015: I hired Patrick again on another of our rental condos in April, to paint the entire condo, top to bottom, that had been completely remodeled. Patrick was very accommodating on changing the dates multiple times as the contractor wasn't quite done, as is normally the case with big remodel jobs. The bathroom wasn't quite done when he came to paint so he was very gracious in coming back after it was completed and doing some touch-ups. He did forget to paint the underside of our the dinning room bar. I asked him several times to please come back paint it and he has now refused, even though our contract was to paint everything. So, I brought his rating down to a B and will not use him again for our rentals. Here was his email: "Hillary,We changed our schedule at least 3 times to accommodate you and your contractors changes. We were told that everything was ready for us so we got in there immediately. Upon arrival we found both bathrooms incomplete. We then changed our schedule again to return and take care of the bathroom days later once it had dried properly. Please understand that this obviously increases our expenses, none of which was passed on to you. When I scheduled our return you asked that I have my foreman call you one hour before we completed the bathroom so that you could stop by and check everything out. I told you that he was there to take care of the bathroom and any other touch ups that you needed at that time. He called you, you arrived and didn't ask him to paint the underside of the countertop (which incidentally we would never paint without specific instructions). I am sorry that he wasn't instructed to complete that task when you reviewed the job and approved it. " All is correct, it just would have been nice for him to take 15 minutes to come complete the job. I didn't think I had to ask to paint something that needed painting when we agreed to paint everything. The most recent job was completed the end of April, 2015 and the cost was $3835 to paint a 2 bed/2 bath, 1100 sq ft.

We ended up performing the work ourselves to save money, but Patrick was professional and responsive and we would use him in the future.

For exterior painting I used one of Angie's List's highly recommended service providers, Patrick from Brannick and Associates. They are not totally finished because they are depending on some carpentry that have to be done by others but they are 98% finished I would say and based on that they did an excellent job. They started maybe a month ago and they finished about a week ago. It was a very, very high quality paint and we had a choice of many, many colors and did exactly what we wanted.

Patrick and his guys were prompt, pleasant and quick. My job was a bit more complicated, in that I had quite a few areas that needed carpentry repairs before paint could be slapped on. But Patrick was diligent about sending guys back here to paint over the areas once repairs were completed. He was good about punchlist items. Also very helpful in selecting colors. And no surprises in the final cost.

Approximately 10 years ago, Brannick's team painted the exterior of my home (including the garage door). They did an excellent job which still looks good today. At that time, I had an alarm box on the front of my house (on the same wall as the garage) which they painted around. I recently removed this box and purchased a new garage door and need the wall and garage door painted. Since Brannick and Assoc had done the original painting, I chose to call them again. Patrick Brannick, the owner, was prompt in getting back to me and stopping by to give me an estimate. One of his crew came out the next week and performed the work. I received a call that morning to let me know when his crew member would be out. This person showed up on time, was courteous, completed the work within a reasonable amount of time, and cleaned up the area afterwards. My garage door and the wall look beautiful! I am so pleased and would gladly do business with Brannick and Associates again.

I emailed Patrick for a quote and heard back from him that same day. He made an appointment with me for a few days later and came and walked around my home with me. I was impressed with his knowledge and obvious experience. He explained that he used only top quality materials and followed all protocols for removing paint from my older home including using HEPA vacuums so none of the lead dust would get into my home or garden. I received an extensive quote and bid from him a day later. I went on to get 3 more bids. Patrick's was on the higher end but still competitive. I emailed Patrick to let him know I'd like his company to paint my home. He came by a day or so later with the contract and explained to me in detail the process and left me with some fan decks to begin choosing color. Although I had a general idea of what I wanted, his help was invaluable in choosing the right color and color combinations. The crew (4 men) arrived each day at 8:00 AM. When they left each day at 4:30 everything was clean and put away. They were cheerful and responsive to anything I asked. I was most impressed with their gentle handling of one tall bottle brush that was near the house. I watched as my house was transformed, completely prepped, washed, all cracks and imperfections filled. I really had no idea of how much went into painting a house. Patrick came to the job everyday. He responded immediately to any questions or emails. It was obvious to me that he and all the workmen took great pride in what they were doing. I love how my house looks. I feel that I got a top quality job with excellent and attentive customer service. Highly recommended.

I found this contractor through Angie's List and the excellent reviews. The reviews were right- promptly quoted, good price, knowledgable, done promptly once scheduled, and easy to deal with. Very happy with them, and would use them again.

Brannick Associates painted the interior and exterior of our house. We found them to be extremely professional and are very happy with the job they did. Patrick was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process. His team is hard working and respectful. They did a a first class job, were punctual, considerate and cleaned up after themselves. We had a few additional items that we asked them to address and they were very accommodating. We would highly recommend Brannick and Associates.

I got an estimate from this provider, we found I have lead paint and the estimate would be too high for me to do the project at all. This is all due to the lead paint issue. It isn't the provider's fault it is the law. The quote was very thorough and he did a great job explaining everything.

Employees turned up on time, were very detailed and diligent with moving furniture and ensuring no damage occurred. The job was scheduled for 8 hours but they were done and out within 6. The walls look superb and we are extremely happy with the job done. We would happily recommend Patrick and his crew, and use them again.

Patrick and his team did an excellent job. His team was punctual, on time with the project, and on budget. Above all, the team was professional and the quality was good. When I first started my project, Patrick was very responsive and returned my call quickly and scheduled a time to meet me for an estimate immediately. He took the intiative to move the project forward and was very accomodative to my schedule. When work began, his team was on time every day and finished on schedule. During the project, I requested a minor change to the color scheme. He was flexible and made the adjustments without a problem. I did have a follow up request which Patrick handled immediately. I will hire Brannick and Assoc. again for my next project.

Everything went very smoothly. The results are very nice looking. They cleaned up and left all remaining paint. No issues. A great job on the front door too! It was painted black so you'd be able to see any sloppy workmanship - and it looks perfect.

Patrick and his crew are terrific,, an A+ company in every respect. Patrick is very personable, punctual, , reliable, easy to work with, and together with his crew provides excellent service from start to finish. Patrick has a great sense of color and decor and carefully guided us through the paint selection process which made the entire project much easier for us. Patrick Brannick, the owner of the business, was incredibly fast and responsive to my request for a bid through Angie's List. I received an email and a phone call from him very quickly. We had to reschedule our initial meeting twice due to unavoidable circumstances on Patrick's part, but he was very prompt when he did arrive at my house to examine it for the bid and was very professional. The bid he submitted was extremely professionally done, very thorough and complete. I ended up going with a different painting contractor due to a lower bid from another company, but I was impressed enough by Patrick and Brannick Painting Services to want to give him this positive review on Angie's List.

Brannick was a life saver for me after I was misled by another painter who over promised and under delivered. I reached out to Patrick desperate to get my painting project done within my one-week deadline after my other painters failed to finish on time. Not only was Brannick able to complete my project on an extremely tight deadline, they were pleasant to work with, and provided great design advice for accent walls and paint colors. I got a great deal on the entire project and the painters were extremely respectful of our working space and did not disrupt us at all, even during business hours. As this was my 5th experience with Brannick and Associate's, I clearly had high expectations for the project. As per usual, this trust was not misplaced. My entire interior had been painted by the company, and the time had arrived to embark upon the exterior. Patrick Brannick paid his customary pre-project visit for color consulting and project scope. The bid was delivered, as promised, within 48 hours. The work was executed flawlessly. Not a drop of paint anywhere on my recently installed flagstone or adjacent furnishings. The crew arrived precisely on time and began to work immediately; the job finished a full day and a half ahead of schedule. There is no way that a home owner or handyman could perform the prepping, priming, painting and detail work in so short a time or with such clean results. If you want a professional outcome, hire the best professional you can find. The results of this project were sublime, with all the flaws of the home eliminated or minimized. Patrick insists on the highest grade materials and it showed in the final analysis. I could not be more thrilled with this latest project. There is no company that I recommend more highly. The professionalism, dependability, customer service, and expertise are unparalleled. It is a rare experience to never experience a disappointment or to have the slightest recommendation for improvement after engaging a company 5 times. Patrick Brannick maintains a remarkable business, and I have no doubt that I will be calling him again.

All was great! Patrick called and came out the day after for a bid, started the day after that. Most work was done in one day except for one corbel that needed to dry out prior to repair. Very tidy, good workers, good phone updates. Highly recommended.

Just awesome. Patrick is so earnest and professional, great guy providing a great service. We'd made our paint choices with the help of a color consultant, but some of his colors were no longer produced. Patrick got extremely good substitutions (he cold have had us do it). Painting was briefly stalled by the horrific cold snap we had here in the Bay Area, they were starting the day it hit. His team showed up and worked when it was barely tolerable outside and worked quickly and efficiently. When it came time to paint they put on decent coats, nothing thinned or lightly sprayed. The lines are excellent. Everywhere. 3 1/2 stories up at the roofline everywhere. I know, I climbed up the scaffolding and looked at everything. We had a problem with one piece of trim up the side of the house showing these weird bubbles; this had to be something with the wood, since everything else if perfect. Patrick came back quickly, re-did the whole piece, no questions, no hassles. We'll have him back to fix up the horrific, over-priced paint job in the front that's only 2 1/2 years old and already failing.

They were perfect. They showed up on time and had a large crew to do the work. I was here almost every day during the project. My house is 90 years old and made of redwood. The paint was in terrible condition and I did not want to do the job. I chose Brannick and Associates because of Angies list and was not dissapointed. They did a great job. This should last much longer than if I was to do the painting. I would still be at it.

Very happy with result. Even satisfied my wife which is saying volumes (one detail-oriented woman, she). Work was timely. Daily cleanups were thorough. All doors and windows still opened readily when complete. Crew was friendly and efficient and the foreman, Jose, was very responsive to issues. Patrick, the owner, visited daily during our job and was totally on top of things. We'll be using him again some day. Also, a very nice and unheard of service...at the end of the job, Patrick provided an email that included all the paint ordering numbers and sheen for future touch up. Of course he left the extra paint, but you know how that's always too funky when you finally need it, so this was a nice little addition to the work.
