Description of Work: I hired them initially to install a new door and framing. This was not an easy task as my house is nearly 90 years old so nothing is simple. Brian did the job so well I decided to hire him for more work. He then sanded down and restored my old window frames. I am very pleased and will continue to use them.

 + 2 moreI had saved up a bunch of tasks, knowing that I would be selling my home soon. Josh came over, looked at the tasks, and we agreed on a straight time and materials approach. Josh did an excellent job on a variety of tasks and was skilled and professional across all of them. I was especially happy with how good a job he did with the wall and ceiling repairs, ans how he was able to closely match the existing paint so as to make the repairs almost unnoticeable. All in all, I was very happy with the entire job!
Description of Work: Various tasks: prepped and painted garage floor and storage cabinets; patched, primed, painted/textured several ceiling and wall cracks; numerous paint touch-ups; rehung a fire door and installed new door knob set; adjusted fire door closer mechanism; secured dryer vent cover; repaired and reconfigured oven hood vent; modified/drilled wood desktop organizer

He came over the same week to give me an estimate, which seemed fair so we scheduled him to come and do the work a couple weeks later as he was doing some other work he needed to finish.All the work was done in a timely, professional manner. Josh just does the work and takes care of everything - don't have to "over-see" or check to make sure he is doing a good job - he is great at what he does and the work shows it!
Description of Work: Back gate was rusted and needed a new coat of paint. Josh masked area around back gate and sanded down rusted areas of 16 x 6 foot metal gate. Primed with rust inhibitor and given two coats of paint.Front window needed wooden siding replaced. Josh removed the rotten wood with new pressure-treated wood. Wood siding and trim was painted to match existing color and finishes. Tucked and mortared one brick on ledge of window. Also caulked around front window and front door. Installed new doorbell switch.

He was very pleasant and very professional. He got the quote back to me pretty timely. I didn't have any complaints about him. He came on time. I would get another quote from him.

 + -1 moreWe called on a Thursday afternoon, and he said he charged $40/hour with a two-hour minimum, which seemed reasonable, so we arranged for him to come the following Tuesday morning. He arrived on time, and fixed the door in about a half-hour. Luckily, it was not as badly damaged as we had feared. He then gave me some advice regarding an unrelated leaky window, which I appreciated. Overall, we were pleased with his work and would definitely call him again.
Description of Work: A pocket door had been violently pushed out of its track and wedged into place. We were unable to move it, and not sure whether or not it was permanently damaged.

 + -1 moreJosh hung both curtain rods to my specifications and made adjustments. He hung mirrors. All work was quick and as quiet as possible. He's delightful and professional and I would use him again, and highly recommend him.
Description of Work: Josh was so fantastic. He hung 2 large curtain rods and 2 mirrors, touched up paint and moved furniture and cleaned up after his work. The circumstances were extenuating because I required the curtain rod to be moved twice, and he had to be retouched. If I had not needed that he would have stayed within the 2 hour minimum.

He is very professional and thorough. You don't need to ask him to do something twice. His prices are very reasonable. This is just the latest time we've used him to perform repairs around our house. We are a repeat customer for him because he does such great work at a very reasonable price.
Description of Work: Needed to renovate TV room. Manly-Man removed all pictures, wall-mounted TV, and nails and then filled holes. Removed old carpet, painted walls and window frames with 2 coats of paint. Arranged for installation of new carpet. Assembled IKEA furniture and placed it in room. Repaired window screens.
