Description of Work: I visited Sunset Carpet One to discuss kitchen flooring options. EVERYONE I encountered was extremely informative and helpful. I especially appreciated being given a little space to explore their flooring samples. They also generously allowed me to take home a few of their large floor samples and provided quotes for materials and installation. I haven't yet started my project, but when I do I will use them.

Description of Work: Peggy came to do the estimate. She was at the property a long time and seemed as if she knew what she was doing. The work was to be performed on 9/4/12-9/5/12. On Thursday 9/6/12, I went to the property and there were 2 missing sections of carpet on the stairs and all of the lights were left on. We were already moved out and about to have an open house on 9/9/12. I was very upset and called Peggy right away. She didn't seem to know that the job was not completed. When told about this she said the carpet would be installed on Friday 9/7/12 in time for our open house. I never received a call and on Saturday, (big surprise) it was not completed. I immediately called Peggy and she finally told me a mistake was made in the estimate and the carpet needed to be re-ordered. I also complained about the lights being left on since we did not live there anymore. The workers also broke the wiring on the alarm system and did not fix it. Overall, I was very dissatisfied with the work completed. They were very unprofessional, and did not offer any additional discounts. Obviously we did not pay for the extra carpet needed.

+ -1 moreWe went into the store to ask the about carpet stretching. It was a weekend, so they didnt have someone to send out that day. They called Monday and made an appointment. They then came out to check the work and make an estimate. We agreed to the figure, and they did the work right then, instead of requiring another visit. They did a good job, and were very fast. We had them come back to do another room later.
Description of Work: They stretched the carpet in 2 rooms to remove several wrinkles.
