Home inventories are a necessary part of every homeowner’s portfolio. The ability to record the contents of your belongings is the best way to be prepared for natural disasters such as fire, flood and earthquakes, as well as theft, legal issues, moving/storage, and, especially, peace of mind. Without a documented inventory of your belongings and environment, it would be impossible to remember every item in your home, much less prove its condition to maximize insurance . Reimbursement. There are many scenarios that prove useful when considering a home or business inventory. Whether you are considering the process for one of the above-mentioned reasons, or possibly for a purpose not mentioned, you have come to the right place, we are here to help.

As a small business owner and a landlord with rental property, I know how important organization and documentation can be. I used One Way Home Inventory Management to document and catalog my rental property in Culver City. I currently lease the property furnished. I wanted to capture the contents and the condition of the furniture and the appliances in the home. I rent the property by room and have tenants moving in and out frequently. I love that I have to have the ability to record what stays and what goes. Barbara videotaped and photographed the contents by location, recording important facts such as items, number of pieces, condition, serial numbers, model numbers and maintenance needs. The ability to record the contents of my belongings will also prepare me and my tenants for situations beyond our control or theirs, like fire, flood and earthquakes, as well as theft, and if necessary, legal issues (hope not). Most importantly it give us all peace of mind. My tenants love the protection too! Without a documented inventory of my belongings and environment, it?s impossible for me to remember every item in the home, much less prove its condition. i don't know how I ever did it without one. I was provided with two (2) flash drives containing my information, photographs and video by location. The information was also synced to my iPhone and iPad in a super cool App! I was also given a binder with the hard copy of the detail. The App with my Rental Home Inventory proved invaluable to me in a particular situation I would like to mention. My family and I were on vacation over the Holidays and there was a problem with the Oven at my rental property. The tenant called me to let me know. I was able to access the Oven information via my iPhone, referencing the Make, Model and serial number and directly email the information to my appliance repair serviceman. He was able to quote me a cost for repair and order the part without a service visit, allowing him to make just one service call and fix the problem. I was so happy that I was able to handle the issue while on vacation and get back to my family with out much stress. I will definitely refer One Way Home Inventory to my clients and I am looking to retain their services for my business as well.
