They were fine. They came out on time, did a great job, and described all the service they were going to provide. They were also very responsive. They followed up with every phone call and email.

We got the whole house tented. They gave $100 off on that; it cost $1600. Then there was an additional $300 for the subterranean termites in the garage and an additional $500 as they sealed up all the entries and exits into the attic and put in traps as we had rats in the attic. Overall, I think it was very good. I think they're a family owned business and they followed up very well. The only thing was I had to track them down to pay them which was interesting and which I don't think is necessarily a bad thing. Overall, they were very professional and I would definitely use them again. It also came with a three-year guarantee or warranty on their products. I think they were very well priced. They got back to me right away on everything. He showed up at the end of his time frame but I think he was still there on time.

They did a good job, there was only one issue and they came back and fixed that issue which I was pleased with.

They are incredibly good. I've used them at least 5 to 7 times for different buildings and occasions. They are just reasonably priced, prompt, professional and they get the job done. They are great, friendly, knowledgeable. I can't say enough about this company, they are one of the best around. Their prices are very reasonable and very fair.

All in all we are quite satisfied. Commendable is that they performed the repeat treatment without question under the 1 year warranty at no extra cost to us. (We live near a flood channel by a hill side with plenty of fruit trees in the neighborhood to entice various critters.). As of now the infestation problem appears to be solved. Considering that the issue needed to be addressed twice within a year, the cost that appeared a bit high at first, was actually very reasonable. In other words, they certainly gave us our money's worth. Note that some of their technicians are more thorough than others. We really appreciate that this is a lousy job having to crawl around under the house and in the attic, and the rodents had actually chewed through an outside wall by the foundation and another wall in the laundry room behind the water heater. Anyways, one technician completely missed these entry points, whereas the next one who came back when we still heard noises, immediately found and sealed the holes. This said, the work they did was well done, they built and placed wire frames into the crawl space entries under the foundation and sealed along the roof line, used cement patching for the walls, even fixed a gap in the laundry room door. The technicians were professional, explained issues, and generally showed up on time. The only issue, which took our rating down a bit, was the completely unprofessional front office customer service. Appointments were messed up, messages apparently not relayed, and worst of all, when we left messages requested a callback, 9 out of 10 times NEVER had a call back. Two technicians who showed up one day made the trip in vain, because we had left a message the previous day canceling and asking for a call to reschedule. Another time the scheduled technician did not show up at all. If we didn't know better, we'd think Already a Better Choice doesn't really care to generate business. So once they figure a way to get their reception/customer service in order, they can really be among the top businesses in Pest Control around the LA area. We would use them again, but find a way to make arrangements with a technician directly instead of calling the office number.

Inspection conducted with verbal estimate. Written estimate provided approx 1 wk later. Previous inspections detected subterranean termites. Not this time. Follow-up communication with customer service was disrespectful. Did not use.

It went not well at all. He didn't seem to be very knowledgeable about anything. We were not just pleased at all. I would think that an exterminator would have at least a shirt with the company's name or logo on it, a truck that would have all of the products. We were a little surprised to see some young kid show up in a t-shirt, open his own personal car's trunk and take out a sprayer. That was not a professional exterminator. I did not get a professional exterminator for the price I paid. I could have done the job myself. He was out here when he said he'd be here.

I set up an appointment to get my house initially treated as I was having issues with ants showing up in a number of places in the house and had noticed some spiders around in places. The first guy came out and I told him about the problem and he said he would initially just spray outside the house since I had pets. He also swept down spiderwebs from a few places. I asked him about treating the garage (which is below my house) and he said that isn't part of the package since it isn't a living area. After the treatment, there was no change in the number of ants in the house so I called and had them come back. A different guy came this time and seemed annoyed that the other guy hadn't bothered to look in the garage and at least see what was going on down there. He ended up finding the beginnings of a termite infestation in the garage which I have had treated with another company (wasn't feeling that confident in these guys by that point). This second guy put down gel bait in the house and sprayed outside again and this seemed to make a difference in the ants as I have only seen 1 or 2 since then. They have since come out again for a quarterly treatment and they sprayed, but this time didn't seem to take down any spiderwebs or anything like they did the first time as there are a bunch in a few places around the outside of the house. This doesn't bother me too much except that they had taken care of this the first time so I don't know if I got extra care initially or poor care on follow up. I haven't had any recurrence of the ant problem. Ultimately, they got rid of the ants which was the main thing that I wanted, but I just got a feeling that they were cutting corners a bit.

Fine. They did not respond it my intial call for weeks? Don't expect immediate service thru Angie List Contract. Perhaps he had to verify the purchase through this list and had trouble? Not known. Have seen one spider since visit, post 2 weeks. May need to call for respray.

Did not return call to inform of their no show.

The technicians were prompt and polite. They worked outside and checked inside to make suggestions to help rid the kitchen of ants. No pesticides were used inside the house due to my dog, but what was done outside took care of my problem. I purchased an annual contract and the technician said I could call anytime I had a problem.

Nathan was very knowledgeable about termites and was also able to help us identify a number of moisture problem areas and also the telltale signs of termite infestation. We chose them after moving to California and buying a house only to find that the seller used a disreputable termite company who was put out of business by the termite board by the time we realized our home was not properly treated. With the bond money exhausted, we were left to foot the bill ourselves. As long as we're in the area we'll never buy another house again without consulting Already a Better Choice. We were very impressed.

The termite tenting they did was good. There were a few problems but they were really responsive on getting that fixed. They really did stand by their work. Even though there were problems, the more important thing for me is how they address it.

Joshua, who came and did the initial inspection, was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I had already noticed termites in certain locations but he showed me additional areas and gave the all-clear on other areas. Because he gave the all-clear on certain areas, I felt confident he was giving me a very fair price. The employees who came and did the actual treatment were prompt and because they had already been briefed on which areas needed to be treated, they didn't waste any of my time. I highly reccommend this company.

They came and gave me an estimate and I compared it with an estimate from another company which is an A list provider. I chose Already A Better Choice Termite & Pest Control Inc because they were a lower cost. When they did the termite inspection they found that there were access points for rodents. The other company saw it as well. I had them do the rodent control too because they were also cheaper for that service. They found additional points of access from the inspection I had gotten six months previously. I was impressed by that. They told me what to expect and they did just that. They filled the access points. They were punctual, courteous, and they went out of their way to explain things to me. They told me they would come back if there were any problems. They came through in a timely manner, I really appreciated that. I would and have used them again. I have signed up with them for my regular pest control service. The contact gentleman, Joshua and also Diana were very good and very professional. They were both very accommodating. Everybody with them has been good but those two really went out of their way to help me understand my options. Their services were so good that I referred them to my neighbor, she used them and she now has them as her regular pest control service as well.

Nathan was great. Extrememly knowledge about termites, he gave a thurough inspection. Workers were great. Courteous and friendly. Very pleased.

This is a bigger job than they could handle. The company was very professional and prompt. I would recommend the company.

Even though Already a Better Choice sub-contracts this work out to a tenting company they were there for me every step of the way. This being my first home tenting I am sure a was hyper-concerned and called Diana 20 times. She walked me through the entire process and answered all my questions. I received the bags to protect my food and open bottles along with clear instruction. I removed any living plants I could. There are some pants/bushes around my home that just could not be separated from the house. They did the best they could to get the tarp between the foliage and the wall but some just got covered. We will see if they come back. They said 2-3 months. The tenting and untenting went smooth. When they were done you would have never know they were in my home.

The work went well and we are very pleased.

When they arrived, they were professional and polite & as soon as I mentioned I just bought the house he informed me that the termite care was likely still under warranty. He still continued to examine my home & point out certain areas where infestation was, also he reviewed my termite report with me & made recommendations as to proper treatment I should expect from the original company. So, even after determining that the wouldn't make any money off me, they continued to provide what I would call stellar service.

In order to tent the house all people plants and pets have to leave the house for 3 days. We had a problem with one of our cats who escaped from the cat carrier. The workers who were doing the tenting went way out of their way to help us and put my fears of the cat getting under the tent to rest.

For years, some kind of critter would find it's way into our attic; looking for relief from the extreme heat or cold. Having a old Craftsman bungalow, I thought it would be impossible to find their access points. Already a Better Choice came by and thoroughly inspected house and found the main entry locations. There was a good sized hole that I never saw under a roof eave. There was also another big access point adjacent to the air conditioning condenser piping. When they repaired the access points, they did so with solid architectural materials. They used wood under the eaves. They used thick wire mesh at multiple locations around the piping. They also used concrete to fill in small gaps around the crawl space door. No spray foam. They were fast and but still very thorough. I very much appreciated their carefulness. It's been approaching a year since they came and I haven't heard the critter since.

All the work was done in a timely manner.

We asked for a termite inspection and estimate for treatment, for a house that we were planning to buy (and in escrow). Nathan arrived close to the appointment time and performed a thorough inspection of the house. Nathan educated us on termites and treatment options since we didn't know much about them. He performed a thorough inspection and gave us an estimate for fumigating the house right away and sent us a report a few days later with more details. The price seemed reasonable for the size of the house. We didn't hire Nathan since we decided not to buy the house, but were pleased by the overall professionalism.
