The estimate was scheduled to take place between 12 and 2. Nathan called to tell me he was stuck in traffic on the 405, which I appreciated. He arrived 20 minutes late. He investigated my house, created a plan and gave me an estimate. He and another crew member came back the next week and spent over four house sealing my attic, crawl space, and garage. Nathan and his crew were meticulous about cleaning up. 10 days later, Nathan and another crew member checked the poison, found that rats were still getting in my attic and found the window flashing that had been forced open since their last visit. The opening was sealed. Nathan came back one week later to check the poison and no signs of rats were found. The poison containers are still in the attic and crawl space, just in case, and that's fine with me.

If you had a higher rating than an A, we would rate them as 'Outstanding!' They did outstanding work and it was impressive to meet with them. They are the a family owned company and respond almost the second you call them. They let you know if they won't be there and even come out on Saturdays. We would definitely use them again and are having them come back for other work.

Better Choice conducted a free inspection and gave us an on-the-spot estimate and applied a senior discount. The price was approximately what we expected after looking at a variety of exterminating companies on Angie's List. They tented out house the next week, taking great care to protect our plants to the greatest extent possible. They were very professional in the way they worked. It took a lot of talent and physical prowess to cover our large, two story home but three pleasant individuals did the work in the course of the morning. When we returned home two days later, everything around the house was in order. They paid a great deal of attention to the security of our home, the value of our plants, and the safety of our family. Getting ready for exterminators is no picnic but I would certainly recommend this company to anyone who finds they have to go through the process.

I called and was given an appointment time. The tech (Joshua) came on time. He stayed for more than 1/2 an hour doing the inspection. He even asked if I had an attic, and when I said I didn't think so, he found one and inspected it! He gave me estimates for two options, full fumigation or a location chemical treatment. The company emailed me a detailed report of the inspection, as well as a detailed description of both treatments, what they would entail, and the cost. I couldn't afford the fumigation right now, so I made an appointment for them to do the chemical treatment. Joshua came out in the time they scheduled, did a fast, complete treatment, explained what he had done and told me that if I see anything in those areas in the next year they will come out and remedy it for free. He was incredibly polite, thorough, friendly, and on-time. He even cleaned up after the work was done and would have left the area neater than he found it.

They performed the rat proofing, promising that no more rats would be able to get into the house. What they didn't do was make sure that all the rats were OUT of the house. Later that night we were awakened by our dog and cat going crazy in our closet. After a few seconds, a rat (which we had never seen in the house before, only heard them in the attic) ran through our bedroom. We eventually shooed it out of the house and called AABC to let them know what had happened. They came out the next day claiming that had never happened to them before. They closed up a couple of other possible rat entry points and said that should do the trick. That night we found ANOTHER rat in our guest bedroom. After shooing that visitor out the front door we have yet to find any other furry friends in the house. I guess they did such a good job rat proofing, that those two stragglers couldn't find a way out of the house until we opened the front door for them.

I thought they did a good job! They are expensive though.

Nathan Gonzalez came promptly to do an extremely thorough examination for an estimate. This, alone, impressed us greatly. He was very friendly, sincere and extremely thorough. The quote was very fair and he offered us the Angie's List discount before we even remembered to ask for it. He answered all of our questions and after we had contracted with him for the work, he answered other questions that I needed answer in the interim period before the work was done. All calls were returned promptly. The actual job went very smoothly. Everything was done smoothly and efficiently, as represented. My wife and I could not have been more pleased. Although tenting and fumigating are unpleasant experiences, this company did its best to make it bearable. We recommend them very highly.

Very good. Mr Gonzalez showed up on time to do the inspection. They emailed me a written report along with an estimate of cost to do the treatment. He arranged for a date to do the treatment which was done at the time promised. There was one small glitch which was not the fault of the AABC Company. The gas company was supposed to shut the gas off to both the main house and the garage/apartment. They failed to shut off the gas to the apartment. That necessitated a return by AABC to fumigate the garage/apartment on another date. They did this at no additional charge. I was very pleased with their service.

I got three estimates and all Nathan from this company was the third. I was impressed with the first two (Terminix and Western) but Nathan blew me away. The other company reps spent 1-2 hours. Nathan was SO THOROUGH and really took the time to check out my entire home, inside and out, eaves, crawlspace and attic, and detached garage. He was here 4 hours from start to finish. Highly recommend!

We were very pleased with the quick response for an estimate, the reasonable quote and the courteous service. The owner, Jose, was very trustworthy and provided a written explanation of the proposed work to be done. The crew arrived on time and was conscientious to the needs of the tenant whose apartment was to be treated. I would recommend this company highly.

I was able to get them to come out around my schedule and they were on time for the appointment. They are dependable, courteous, knowledgeable, effective, responsive, and pleasant. I find they are easy to work with and get the job done well.

I was happy with them. They did a good job in my house. They finished on time. I had a bit of trouble with the roof after they removed the tenting, b/c it seemed to pull some things loose, but I need a new roof anyway.

They were excellent. They were on time and considerably less than other quotes I had previously gotten.

The company came at the time scheduled, made a reasonable bid and performed the work. The work was done at a rental property that I own, so I especially appreciated that they followed instructions about communication: calling before they came, etc. I was very satisfied and would use them again for pest control.

Nathan came to do the inspection the same week I called. He arrived on time, dressed neatly with clean shoes and had a friendly personality. He walked through my home looking for signs of termites and explained the types of termites, how they damage wood and how to spot signs indicating their presence. He answered all my questions before leaving and e-mailed me a copy of the inspection report within a couple of days as I requested. I had him return to do the treatment. He set up the appointment at my convenience, called me on that day to tell me he was on his way, arrived on time and finished his work on schedule. My wife and I are very pleased with his work and the responsiveness of his office staff. I've already begun telling my neighbors to call Nathan for their inspections.

Technician arrived, asked a few questions, then proceeded to look over the whole house, starting with the bedrooms, where he thought the problem might be. He found red mites and told us what to do to get rid of them and how they might have gotten in. Didn't pressure us at all to hire them to exterminate, didn't seem to think that was necessary. Was very knowledgeable and thorough.

This is the first time I have used someone from Angie's List. I am very satisfied with their work. Prompt, courteous, and nice attitude. Totally use them.

The worker arrived on time and was polite, professional, and friendly. He explained in great detail why we didn't have a MAJOR problem and explained a simple "do it yourself" quick fix. He also inspected the entire home thoroughly to ensure there weren't other problems that had gone unnoticed. He was honest and did not try to talk us into getting any service we didn't need. The inspection was very detailed. They were very helpful in discussing the details of how the job would be accomplished and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. The tenting went as planned and the subterranean drilling was done very well. He had to drill holes in the grout between the sautio tiles and after he patched the holes you would never know he'd done the job. Excellent work.

The other bid I receive for the same work was for $6000. They were great to deal with.

Mr. Gonzales came out to inspect my home. He was nice over the phone, was on time arriving, and got right to work looking around. At first my termite problem looked localized, and I was quoted $300 to treat the area. Mr. Gonzales looked further along the same long line of windows, and finding evidence of more termites, said I would have to tent the house at considerably more cost (no quote given as a full inspection had not been done). I declined and called someone else.

Jose arrived for the initial inspection on time, as agreed. He advised me that the termites were due to too much water in the vicinity of the mailbox kiosks, and too much ground cover, which prevents the soil from drying out. This gives the termites food. He arranged to return the next day (Saturday) to treat the kiosks. His tech arrived on time and took care of the problem. When the kiosks are replaced, Jose will return to retreat the soil. Having had terrible experiences with "brand name" termite companies, Jose and his staff scored a double hit with this Homeowners association. We will definitely use this company again.

Very polite. Thorough inspection, however termite infestation was overstated and work was suggested that proved to be unnecessary. Their assessment of the problem differed than 2 other companies.
