I found them on Angie’s List. I cannot say much about their price, but I was satisfied with the work they did. I spent $2,200 on the job. I had a choice between two companies, but I used this one instead. The prices of both the companies were competitive. So, I flipped a coin and decided to use this company. It was the first time that I had had any termite issue. They left the house as clean as when they had arrived. The treatment has been effective so far. I would use them again in the future.

They showed up on time, were very knowledgeable about my problem (spiders), were very thorough, answered all my questions, and gave me an Angie's List Discount. Scheduled quarterly services with them. Since they left, no more spiders, webs, or wasps' nests on the house.

I have a yearly contract with these folks. I called and them came out the same day. It took them about 20 minutes to find all the holes and shoot chemicals in them. No mess, no fuss and no charge!

I never received the estimate so either they didn't send it to the correct email address or they didn't bother to do one. It's too bad because if the estimate was considerably less, it could have persuaded me to go with them. The other companies either gave me an estimate at the time and/ or emailed estimates. One company emailed estimate and later mailed detailed report & contract for my consideration.

I haven't seen an ant at all. Last year we had a horrible ant problem but this year there aren't any.

The service provided was great. Punctual, professional, and very knowledgeable of their craft. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends. Worth every penny!

I had mice or rats in my garage and under the house. I could not see where they were getting in and had droppings all over the washer/dryer down there and a bad rodent smell. The company came out, went under the house, into the crawl spaces and sealed off all the entry ways that rats might be using. They sealed doors, pipes and windows and laid traps. After two visits my problem was gone! No more smell or droppings. I think the price--$725 -- is a bit steep but this is difficult work and worth paying for it to be done properly.

They were quick and efficient. The treatment was effective. We never had a problem again. The technician was professional but not off-putting or anything like that. It was a smooth procedure. It's something I'm not familiar with, and they handled it very well. They explained what our options were for additional services, but they weren't pushy at all. Their prices were pretty comparable; they weren't the cheapest.

My recollection is that I called about a week earlier, and was given an appointment for July 1. They did the work on July 2, which was a Saturday. The woman who answered the phone was a little abrupt, so overly sensitive people need to be aware of that. I'm not overly sensitive, so it was okay with me. The more efficient, the better. And she was very efficient. On July 1, Nathan came over, looked over the entire house and found (I think) 8 places where the rats were getting into the attic and the area under the house. He told me that they would seal up all the openings, put traps in the attic and the area under the house, then they would return, approximately every two days until I was no longer hearing noises and they were no longer finding rats in the traps. July 2 was probably the hottest day we've had this year. Nathan said he and another guy would be there at about 9:30 and they got there right on time. The poor guys were melting it was so miserable outside, but they worked diligently, and after four or five hours they'd closed up all the openings (they'd even found three openings Nathan had not noticed previously, and closed them up at no additional cost). There is a one year guarantee. Because of the holiday weekend, Nathan was not able to come back for 6 days and I was a little annoyed because of the heat and my concerns about potential smells. But I , but did not notice anything. I'm not sure if Nathan found any rats the first time he came to check the traps. I think so. But the second time, he found they had gotten themselves back into the house through a hole that had been closed, and he immediately closed it again - tighter this time - at no additional cost. When Nathan came the third time, he wasn't surprised that I'd heard them trying to scratch their way through the floor boards, but no rats were in the traps that time, and I expect him here, perhaps tomorrow, to make sure all the rats are gone from the house. One interesting conversation I had with him was when he told me that anyone who tells me they can trap all the rats and get rid of them is lying, because (Nathan said), he could lay traps for the rest of our lives and he would never run out of rats to trap. Apparently there are a LOT of rats in Los Angeles County. Since I had already paid one firm about $800 or $900 to trap rats, I was a little distressed over that, but since mistakes seem to be a way we humans learn, c'est la vie. Nathan says that, by making it harder for them to get into my home, or to find food on my property, I am driving them to other properties where it is easier to get into the home, and easier to find food. That's good enough for me. When I asked about trimming my honeysuckle, Nathan said it would be a good idea because the rats need cover, and if I deprive them of that cover, they go elsewhere. He also suggested I cut one of the trees that was giving them access to the roof. I later learned this was the wrong time of year to trim a tree, but did cut about 6 feet off the top of the honeysuckle that surrounds my property. Needless to say, Nathan is very knowledgeable and very helpful. I'm not sure the price was high, but with the $800 to $900 to trap the rats, the $800.00 for this service, and the $750.00 for trimming the honeysuckle, I may just be reacting to the fact that the whole mess cost a lot.

Great! Responded quickly to my request for a bid. Professional came and made a thorough inspection and quoted $850 (since I just had to pay $7000 to another company for the replacement of ducts destroyed by the rodents, it was worth every penny). I tried to get three bids. One said they didn't service my area; the other never replied. Work was scheduled quickly after I decided to go with them. Arrived on time. Finished earlier than expected. Cleaned up well and respected the property. Allowed payment by credit card. I will definite use them again; probably sign up for one of their service contracts (which they didn't push and only mentioned it once in answer to my questions in my request for a bid. A worker at my house noticed a wasps' nest by a roof vent. I had used Already a Better Choice before for termites, so I called and asked if they could get rid of the wasps' nest. They said yes and we set an appointment for Joshua to come out the next day. He arrived on time and gave me an estimate. After we agreed, he got rid of the nest, then inspected the rest of the house in case there were more. He found another one and got rid of that as well. he even cleared out the cobwebs from the eaves of the house! Really a fantastic company - I absolutely recommend them unreservedly!!!!

We just recently moved into our first house and found out we had a rat problem and called up Already a Better Choice. They came out as soon as possible and gave us an estimate. We made an appointment for rat proofing and removal the following week. They took the time to do the job right. I feel very confident that the rats will be kept out. In addition to the rat problem, they also pointed out deficiencies in the original termite treatment by another company before we moved in. Serviceman explained that I may see a few bugs for a week or so, but there should be none after that. If so, I'm to call back and they will return and spray again.

They were fine. Overall, I was okay with them, but when I called them again the second time, it took a while for them to come out. It was the warranty period to do the termite again. I had to call them three times. Out of three calls, they didn't respond to the first two calls. I told them that I would complain to Angie’s List and then they came out and did things. I may not use them again in the future.

They were knowledgable and helpful and stuck around as long as it took to get it done. They were very thorough and examined all parts of the house. I believe the person who helped me was Jeff.

Nathan and his crew is prompt, as always, professional, thorough, and flexible. I trust their work and their price.

They sprayed outside of the house, and as far as I can tell, the work seems fine. They were punctual; they said 10 o?clock and were here at 10 o?clock. They got right to it and got the job done. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

They were spectacular. 3-man crew took nearly six hours to do all the screening but they were completely thorough. They did 3 or 4 return visits to check the traps and even disposed of a rodent that was still alive! Plus, unlike those cowards at Terminex, they guarantee you to be pest-free for a year. Scheduling was always professional and prompt and they always showed up on time. Thumbs way up!!

They crew of 2 arrived exactly on time. They performed the work in all of the places where they found problems during the time they did the estimate a few days before. They even found many additional entry points that they sealed but they kept to their original estimate. They are extremely professional and knowledgeable and they guarantee their work for a year! As promised they called a few days later and returned to check the traps. On this second visit they discovered an additional possible entry point and sealed it at no additional charge. Nathan arrived on time. I showed him the rat droppings. He spent over one hour doing a complete inspection of both the interior and the exterior of the house including the roof. He discovered a spot where the rats had chewed through and entering the house. He repaired the problem area and set traps "just in case." He also discovered a dead rat in one of the traps he had left previously and disposed of it. He then cleaned up the rat droppings. This company did a phenomenal job the first time they came. After 8 months they quickly scheduled an appointment for warranty work which they completed at no charge. You can't possible ask for better service! I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Overall, the job went perfectly and we have not had a single problem since. They are very easy to work with. They are very friendly, knowledgeable and thorough.

Nathan came out and looked over the house; roof, attic and crawl space. He stated that he had been doing the rat control for his family business for the last 8 years or so. He was very knowlegeable and professional and found several places rats could be entering the attic. We set up a time and date for the exclusion work and setting of traps. The work took several hours and during the work, he stated that he had found another place where there were indications of a lot of rat activity. He came back several days later to clear the traps. He will come back at least one more time to clear the traps again. He is a very calm, intelligent person and very pleasant to work with.

They were awesome. Kept in contact with me and came back for a courtesy spray. They billed me for the work via email.

So far we're still chasing one rat which refuses to go in any of the many and different traps that have been set. The exclusion seems to have worked as we don't seem to have any rats coming in but we're still not full rat free. Nathan is possibly the nicest exterminator I've met. The company's quote was lower than one other and with a one year guarantee. No matter what questions I had Nathan was always happy to answer them and genuinely seem to care about the pests even though it is his job to get rid of them. I highly recommend these guys especially if you're an animal lover and feel bad about having to kill them in the first place.

I had quotes from (5) different companies. Each companies' quote was different regarding what work was required. I had a quote from (2) companies that specified or offered to use Orange Oil. The other (3) companies said that Orange Oil was not an effective treatment. I opted to use the company that offered a fair price and also used conventional treatment. Crew showed up around mid-morning, one man worked in my attic while the others 3-4 men worked outside on wood replacement. Crew came back the next day and completed their work. Supervision was there most of the time. Most of the wood used was pre-primed prior to installation. I found that termite work is very hard to evaluate due to each company having different solutions to the same problem. I am glad I got more than just one or two quotes. Prices ranged from $2,000.00 to 550.00 based on the company and types of treatment utilized.
