Sierra Vista Maintenance

Worker called to notify me a traffic accident was delaying prompt arrivall, but he arrived very close to 8 am. He asked if there were any concerns and then got right to work. Although we have a tile roof he managed to reach all areas but one. Very thorough and professional.

Cleaned all the gutters, removed leaves and debris on the roof, added six downspout screens ($10 each), and cleaned up after. He did the job very well, and in the rain! Highly recommended.

Greg was punctual and very personable. After I showed him areas of concern (water cascading over side of gutter in two locations - 1 in front and 1 in back) he got right to work. He showed me a big clod of material that was blocking one downspout. Greg also called to my attention to the fact that a back gutter was sloped away from the downspout not towards it which would result in overflow. He advised that I might want to consider having an additional downspout installed at the lowest slope of the gutter or having a new properly sloped gutter installed. He indicated that Sierra Vista doesn't do that type of work nor did he suggest any particular company that might. As a result, I trusted that this was not just a ploy for additional work/revenue. Greg also showed me a downspout filter that would help keep debris out of the downspout - no pressure or verbal suggestion that I should purchase, just that this was available. I did purchase 2 of the filters because of close-by neighbor tress and Greg installed. This work was done in late Sept. 2015. After a recent January 2016 rain (4 months after initial gutter cleaning), I noticed rivulets of water falling from the side of a front gutter. I called Sierra Vista. Eric indicated that they have a 60-day guarantee but he would send someone over to check it out within a couple of days when they would again be in the Rocklin area. Jason arrived the morning of the specified day and took a look at the gutter. Leaves from the next-door neighbor's tree had completely covered the filter thus limiting the flow of water into the downspout and resulting in overflow. (Luckily I had had a gutter filter installed in Sept. otherwise that debris would have been in the downspout.) Jason cleaned the leaf debris (a goodly amount in my estimation) from the gutter and filter. He also checked and cleaned another gutter that had some leaf debris. Jason suggested in future to have gutters cleaned in October after nearby trees have dropped their leaves - a great and logical idea that I hadn't even considered. I thought I was getting ahead of the (hoped-for rain) game by scheduling Sept. service. There was no charge for this subsequent cleaning which was great customer service. I'm a happy and satisfied customer and will therefore use Sierra Vista again.

They had to remove the gutter guards, and put them back, which took extra time. This was done with no extra charge or complaning. The young man doing the cleaning was very nice and polite.

From being very responsive to our scheduling needs to expert cleaning we had a great experience. Do yourself a favor and hire them today :-) I know they're going to have my business from here on out. A++++ job.

I paid for the add directly on angies list. They responded right away with a couple options of times available. He was prompt on the day provided and did work efficiently. He advised me of replacing one of the gutters because of rust. I appreciated that information.

I am not sure how the gutter were cleaned other than removing the obvious leaves that were plugging the front downspot. I have a huge oak tree with big leaves and tons of acorns. I was surprised that he said he saw no acorns in the spouts, and he didnt use water to clean the gutters. We had significant rain the days after he was here and evrything seemed to work well. There was no mess, and the job was done in about 45 mins

It went fine and they did a good job, my only concern was that one of the workman kept trying to sell me other services, like new gutters and services to remove the tree next to my house. I hired them to clean my gutters.

Nick, the servicer, came right on time at 9:00 a.m. and worked for about 50 minutes cleaning the gutters. He was very professional, friendly and nice. I asked him to please cut some tree branches covering the gutters on top of the house and he did so. The owner had previously approved the cutting of the branches and Nick quickly grabbed his ladder from his truck and cut them. Nick left the place clean and put all the dead branches in the garbage disposal. He was kind and helpful. I will use this company again!

He cleaned the gutters. He only did what was agreed upon in the deal I made online via Angie's list. I wanted to add in something, but he would not consider it; even for more a bit more money. The work he did was done quite well. I would hire them again.

They called to say they were coming early, thanks to a quick previous job, and arrived fifteen minutes later. They went to work immediately, and got the job done in under an hour. Due to the irregular outline of our house, we have a lot of gutter to clean, more than the square footage of our house would suggest, but they got it done quickly, cleaned up afterwards, and so far -- it's raining as I type this -- everything looks good. They let me know what shape everything was in and where the trouble spots were. Unlike a previous provider, these folks had no surprises in store; the advertised price was $279, and there were no surcharges. These were professional, fully licensed, courteous folks who did a good job at a good price -- we'll have them back next year.

We have an 1800 sq foot house and had not had the cutters cleaned for several years. The roof had lots of leaf debris and the sand from the roofing had filled the gutters to about 3 inches of nasty yuck. We also had gutter caps that needed to be removed and then put back. He did a very good job in about 1.5 hours and cleaned up very well. He did have to come back and put the sun room covers back which he had forgotten but he worked with our schedule and got back quickly today to complete the work. There was good communication all along with phone calls to advise us of arrival times or any delays ( which there were not). He advised us of a little rust on one bit of gutter and a few shingles that seemed to be coming loose. He was very nice and polite, didn't waste any time and was respectful of our time. All in all, I am a very happy homeowner.

They were great. Completely cleaned up after themselves. Also let us know about some cracked roof tiles that we were unaware of.

I was a bit nervous about the price quote being prior to the service - but the nervousness was quickly squashed as the price was quite reasonable - in fact lower than the company I used prior to Sierra Vista Maintenance. The guys were on time - professional - as mentioned the quote was very reasonable - and unobtrusive which is important as I work from home. Overall I was very pleased with their service cleaning my windows and plan on calling them back in the fall to do my gutters.
