+ -1 moreTKBM Construction did an excellent job! The workmanship is superb. The crew was efficient and professional. Tim met with me ahead of time to verify my requirements, take measurements and provide recommendations. The quote he provided was exact. During construction, Antonio, the foreman, and the rest of the crew kept the worksite clean and with only minimal impact to our day-to-day lives. The ramps and walkway look and feel great. I cannot recommend TKBM Construction enough. I will definitely hire them again.
Description of Work: We had a concrete pathway poured from our porch to the sidewalk and wheelchair ramps built from the front-door to the porch and from the porch to the walkway.

+ 4 moreTKBM team did a great job. Tim met with us, listened to our vision and really helped create our dream patio / yard. Access for equipment to do the work was very challenging and this did not phase them at all. It could not have turned out any better than it is! Reccomending Tim Machlaclan and TKBM without hesitation. Honest, creative and very versatile. Licensed, bonded and very legitimate. Competitive and not a low bid, cut corners contractor.

+ 0 moreWow! The retaining wall is beautiful - it far surpassed my vision of what it would look like! Antonio and his crew are true artisans; their work is precise, thorough, and done beautifully to enhance the setting. The retaining wall looks like it would be found in a Tuscan winery! They installed three steps for access to the upper level of the yard, and they are a focal point in the wall. The cement step that they poured was finished to look as similar as possible to the adjacent patio and steps. Tim, the owner, was on site several times each day to review the progress as well as deliver materials. Everyone arrived as scheduled each morning, and they completed the job in less time than estimated. The yard was totally cleaned up and mulch was replaced when they completed the job. My retaining wall looks far superior to many similar walls that I see in my neighborhood. I believe that is due to the skill and artisan qualities of Antonio and his crew. I highly recommend TKBM Construction!
Description of Work: Antonio and his crew removed and replaced a 50 year old retaining wall that was leaning over, removed and replaced a cement step that had been lifted by tree roots, and removed several old cement walkways and a non-functioning brick BBQ. They then re-graded the back yard after the retaining wall was in place. Both Tim and Antonio explained how the retaining wall would be constructed, gave me options for each aspect of the job, and competently answered all of our many questions.

+ -1 moreWe had to put our handicapped ramps closer to our door. We had lots of cracks in the sidewalk as well. We decided to just re-do the whole thing. The crew was very professional and courteous to our customers and guided them along to the entrance as we were getting the work done. The foreman Travis was polite and made sure we understood how the pour was going to go previous to start. The job took 3 days as to make sure our customers had access to entrances. It looks fantastic and they did this brush look that gave it a little class. Suggestions were well accepted and appreciated. I am going to have them do work at my house. Cant wait to see what they do to fix the old stucco. Thanks guys!

+ 3 moreTim and his crew did a beautiful job laying out a pretty complicated walkway. He set the random squares of coping stone in concrete and rebar. The alternating coping stone squares and exposed aggregate is so beautiful. We love it! I don't think we could have found anyone to do a better job. In an effort to get the new exposed aggregate to match the old, Tim hand-selected the little birdseed pebbles to make sure they were the same size as the original. What a lot of work! You can't tell where the new exposed aggregate is versus the old. It looks perfect. Tim's crew also took the extra time to and quot;notchand quot; the edges of the coping stone in the walkway and also in the bands of the new driveway. It looks just great!
Description of Work: We hired TKBM Construction to do the hardscape portion of my new front yard landscape. The new landscape plan involved taking out my burmuda lawn etc. and replacing it with an entry walk, a 12-foot (by 1.5 ft) seat wall including 3 two-feet stone box towers and various drought tolerant plantings. The driveway was also demolished and redone using colored concrete and stone banding. We worked with Tim, one of the owners of the company. Tim had worked on my front yard previously putting in 2 Arizona Tan columns of ledger stone and an exposed aggregage walkway extending from the driveway to my front door entry. The new walkway was an extension of the existing front door walkway which was still in excellent condition. The new extension of the exposed aggregate had to match the old walkway. The new walkway also had random sized squares of Arizona Tan coping stone set within the walkway and also along the edges of the walkway in an interestng angular pattern. The coping stone matched the seat wall cap and stone box towers material.

Description of Work: I used TKBM Construction Inc to put up a patio with a stucco wall and a flagstone walkway. They scoured the driveway clean. They also repaired and re-poured the walkway in the back yard.
