SULLY-JONES ROOFING CO

Exceptionally professional organization, especially Steve Johnson who was our sales person. We received quotes from six different roofers and had originally picked a different company because the price was so much lower than everyone else. However, after this company took off our roof, they handed us a change order that was 40% more than the original quote. We fired them and called Steve at Sully-Jones that evening, as Sully-Jones was our second choice. He came out the next day and walked over the exposed roof and stuck with his original quote, minus the cost to remove the roof. They started two days later on a Saturday because we were expecting a downpour the following week and they wanted to make sure our roof was on before the rain came. Steve and the job foreman always promptly answered all our questions before and during the job and thoroughly explained the entire process. The original quote was $17K, and some of the facia wood had rotted and had to be replaced, which added another $1K, but they told us to expect this and we were prepared for it. (The $1K was 1/3 the cost to repair/replace the facia that the original roofer was going to charge us.) They did excellent work overall. San Diego hasn't had much rain since that original downpour, but we've had no leaks. They cleaned up well after themselves. Cannot say enough about their professionalism. We greatly appreciated that they responded to our last-minute cry for help and worked on the weekend because of the impending rainstorm. (They finished on Monday and the rain started the next day.) We recommended them to a neighbor who used them to fix leaking around their fireplace.

We originally got three quotes from three reputable roofers but decided on Sully Jones for the integrity they showed with the inspection of our roof. My wife and I had been wanting to re-roof our existing roof because we had noticed a few shingles had blown off during some real strong winds. Our roof is approximately 12 years old so I know I would eventually have to replace it. After the inspection Sully Jones determined that our roof still had another 5 to 6 years left on it and that it was still in fairly good shape and recommended we we just repair a few of the items they pointed out. The repairs went well. The roofer who came out did an excellent job. He repaired everything and he cleaned up after the job was completed. With the money that was saved we went out and used it to paint the exterior of our home. When the times comes to replace my roof I will just call Sully Jones and have them do the job. Integrity is what it's all about.

The company was there on the date specified. There were four men on the job. Needed ladders. Very professional. Work completed that day. Very professional.

THE COMPANY WAS ON TIME AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. THIS WAS THE SECOND REPAIR ON THE SAME SPOT IN THE ROOF FOR THEM. THE REPAIRMAN STATED THAT THE FIRST WORKMAN IN FEB. LEFT A HOLE UNCOVERED WHICH WAS THE REASON FOR THIS LEAK.
