They cleaned up their mess and were very fast, safe and reliable. He has a degree in Botany so he's very knowledgeable and doesn't mind talking to you about what's going on. It was a very good experience and he was very reasonably priced.

Pete came out the same day I called him. He offered to have his insurance company mail or FAX a copy of his insurance coverage. His estimate was slightly lower than the other two I had; so since Pete seemed very knowledgeable about his work, I went with him. He and his crew arrived on time and they went right to work. The work was accomplished in a safe, professional manner and there was no collateral damage to my fence, water sprinklers or landscaping. They cleaned up what debris was left and they were on their way.

Came out to bid the job at the set time. Gave me a price right away. He said that he would be on the job the entire time. He was, and everything went great. Looks like the trees were never there. They chopped up the trees and swept up the mess. Great price and great job. I would hire again and will recommend him to all my friends.,

I have used Ryken Tree Service for 20+ years, at two residences. Pete Ryken and his team always do excellent work, getting the job done in a reasonable time, with excellent cleanup afterwards. They have done some challenging jobs for me, including large tree removal, stump grinding, shaping ornamental trees, removing fronds from very tall palms, etc. When we moved to our current home, there was an abundance of large, old juniper bushes on a steep side hill that we wanted out. They removed the bushes and all the deep roots making the ground ready for new landscaping. We have a tall palm tree that I wanted removed because it looked so bad; Pete suggested that we trim it first to see what it would look like. That's all it needed. It is beautiful. Pete has a wealth of knowledgeable about almost all trees and shrubs, including what grows in our climate, how to treat for diseases and other plant ailments, etc.

He is extremely knowledgeable, on time professional He sticks to hi estimates. He is the best arborist I have ever worked with. His prices are very reasonable.
