Price: Ended up being $10,000 more than originally quoted. Quality: The quality of the roof was superb. It looks beautiful and has fared well during the recent rain storms. The quality of the staff working on the roof was superior as well. They were extremely hard working and were very respectful and responsive to our needs. Responsiveness: Whenever we had any issues or problems to resolve, it took an exceptionally long time for the company to get back to us. We got zero response at the end of the job when we had a question regarding the final price of the work. There were days during the construction process where no workers showed up, thus delaying the original agreement that the job would take 5 days. Punctuality: We were told that the job would take 5 days to complete. It took over 6 weeks. Professionalism: Prices constantly fluctuated. Certain agreements were made verbally that John later denied making. When asked to put them in writing, they were never followed up. We were pressured at one point in paying up front ahead of what was discussed for payment, which we finally did with some hesitation, but we wanted to be cooperative. Part of the job was financed through a company the company worked with. At the end of the job, we wanted to discuss the final amount owed since there were some points needing to be re-negotiated. When John replied to our letter discussing renegotiation, he admitted that he already charged the remaining balance to the account (even though we had explicitly said we needed to give him final approval before authorizing this). We decided not to dispute the final charge because we were simply worn out from working with these people.

It took me a while to get back to Angie's List to write this review but I need to give credit where it is due. I was very happy with Professional Roofing Services and the quality work they did. They were reliable and kept us updated daily. I noted the excellent teamwork among the staff and I know that this weighs in heavily for good outcomes in any service provided. The end result was beautiful and I was very happy with the patio shade in the back yard. I felt that we were in good hands the entire time. Thank you so much!

All went well. We were very impressed by all staff. We have a quality roof that was professionally installed. Our house is Tri-level, very steep in one area. The old roof was wood shake and was removed with as little mess as possible. Cleanup was done nightly and at job completion. My only advice would be for homeowner: cover as much as possible in home and attic to help alleviate major cleanup during work. Professional Roofing also helped us finance through the Hero Program. This is a very big help to homeowners and helps with energy savings.

The roof looks great. His team works hard to give great customer service. If he says he's going to do something you can count on him to accomplish it in the most professional manner possible and on time.

Old home expected some wood to be replaced. It was somewhat better than expected. The three day replacement went smooth and end result was excellent.

I'm giving this company a C because they did a great job with the roof, but their front end office customer service was horrible. John came and pitched his services and sold us on his excellent customer service. He showed us multiple customer service credentials and awards. Unfortunately, this is not the service we received when dealing with Marisa from their office. She was hard to contact, completely disregarded my concerns when I called her out on her poor customer service, and only contacted me during the last 5 minutes of her work day, so that if I tried to call her back, she would not be available. We also had an issue with choosing the shingle color, which caused a delay in the roof. It would not have occurred if Marisa was better with her communication. The team of roofers, however, were excellent. They were professional, accommodating, and clean. The roof looks great. I am not recommending this company because I think you can get the same quality roof from another roofer with better customer service.

Went very very well. Job foreman was very professional and was able to answer all of our questions. When additional work was required by the city inspector, they did their very best to keep the cost down. We highly recommend this company and are very satisfied and happy with their work.

It was extremely well. I’ve probably given him 30 referrals and the people have all been super happy. It’s the most expensive roofing company.

It went well. It cost more do to extra work that was needed but the need for extra work was honestly and clearly explained. One of the workers fell off our roof. We were concerned for his heath and so was the owner but it was also important that PRS was fully insured to help the employee and cover the homeowner. Sure glad I checked to make sure all insurance was in place before hiring them. In the end if you want the job done at a reasonable price with quality work and craftsmanship - PRS is the company for you.

On schedule, on budget, great workmanship (got all three for a change). Finished job looks terrific. Easy to work with, accommodates changes easily.

It was EXCELLENT! The demolition crew arrived at 7:00 am as promised on Day 1. There were at least 10 guys taking off the roof, the boards, etc. They worked quickly and were done with all removal by Day 2. Each day they cleaned up after themselves, swept for nails and metal debris, swept all around the house and were especially mindful of my elderly dog who likes her spot under the patio. On Day 2 which was a Saturday, and Day 3 (Monday) they arrived at 8:00 am to replace the boards. There were several guys painting the boards on the ground while others worked on the roof. The guys painting laid large pieces of tarp down underneath where they painted so there was no mess when they finished. For the paint, I just had to give one of the guys my paint choice and he went to a Dunn Edwards to buy the right shade and right paint. There was a small problem in that some of the screws went through in a few places inside and were visible since there is not crawl space. As soon as I showed the head guy, he told the others then had someone come out to fix the inside and paint it by the end of the job. By Day 5, there were just two guys meticulously putting the tiles on appropriately and taking their time to make sure it all lined up. They finished by 5:00 pm that day. The roof looks amazing! And it was done just in time before a big storm hit two weeks later. For payment, I only put down a $1000 deposit and was supposed to pay John, the owner, when the materials were delivered. He came by when I happen to be out running an errand and had to leave. His office called on Day 3 to say he would just take the payment at the end. We also discussed the payment and how much more over the estimate it would cost - which I had expected because of the number of boards that had to be replaced. She was polite and also explained some areas where they were able to cut costs a bit to try and save some money. No problem. John came by on Thursday evening at 4:00 pm, we had a nice conversation, he went through all that was done, the warranty and assured me if there was any problem to give him a call. It was great to work with the owner who obviously took pride in his business!

All aspects of the project were performed in an outstanding manner. - above and beyond what I originally expected. Overall professionalism of all employees was of the highest order. I would highly recommend Professional Roofing Services.

I highly recommend this company. The owner John, came out a provided a comprehensive estimate of the roofing cost and plan. His staff was punctual, professional, and always cleaned up. The craftmanship was excellent. There was a lot of wood replacement due to termite damage, and the woodwork and painting repair were awesome. I felt they met there project timeline. The only reason it was a day over, was due to the extent of the wood repair that could not be seen before the old roof was removed. Rebecca, in the office was always polite and kept in constant contact with me. I am ecstatic with my beautiful new roof. John (the owner) truely runs a professional organization.

The service provided was fine. The price was reasonable. They were on time and very professional. If needed, certainly they're the first people we'd call. They also gave us a reference on the problems we were having with our skylight, we needed to get a shade for it and they referred us to a shade company.

They did a really good job but it was more expensive than I had hoped. They had to do a lot of damage repair and that’s really not their fault. The actual contractor who spoke to me in the first place was not punctual. He was too busy but the workers were there every day and on time. The workers were very punctual.

Did not have work done. I have use PRS before and was quite pleased with the overall work. I certainly would not hesitate in using PRS again.

This company had poor response time returning my calls. It took 2 calls to the company before anyone got back to me. When the office finally called me back it was days after my second call. It took about a 2 week period from my initial call before someone called me back. Even if a company is busy someone should be courteous enough to call back and let the potential customer know. This isn't the kind of comapny I choose to do business with especially if I had customer service issues.

original estimate was about $6200 but he said that there would be additional costs when he opened up the roof. I asked him to guesstimate the cost. He guessed at an additional 700. Turned out to be a total of $7700. He would not give me the $400 advertised coupon but did add two vents. Over all I was please with his work and professionalism

their crew was very respectfull of our interior. they covered itemd with plastic to make sure they did not get dirty. they instalation of th esolar tube was better than expected. I would highly recommend their services.

It went very well. They were on time, and seem to work steady. They were finished in 2 and 1/2 days which was very nice. They cleaned up the area afterwards. I was very pleased with their work, and had no complaints.

It didn't go at all. They never bothered to call me. The three other companies answered the phone right away and I was able to set up an appointment in one call.
