Fantastic. They worked me into the schedule on short notice (it's rainy season of course), gave me an estimate & charged me for exactly that.

LAST SUNDAY, AFTER THE HARD RAIN ON SATURDAY, I WENT INTO THE BEDROOM AND I NOTICED THAT THE CARPETING WAS WET IN AN AREA. I TOOK A PICTURE OF IT WITH BOTH MY DIGITAL AND POLAROID CAMERAS AND MEASURED HOW FAR IT WAS FROM THE WALL WITH A RULER. I EMAILED HIM AND TOLD HIM THAT THERE IS INDEED A LEAK. IN ADDITION TO THE LEAKS UNDER THE EVES, THERE IS ALSO A LEAK COMING INTO THE HOUSE. I HAVE LEFT NUMEROUS MESSAGES AND HAVE HAD NO CALL BACK. WE ARE EXPECTING A LOT OF RAIN COMING IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS AND I REALLY NEED THE ROOF REPAIRED. I HAVE ALREADY PAID $275 AND JUST WANT THIS FIXED.

Our experience with this company was outstanding from start to finish. Within 24 hours of our having left a message with them, we received a call back and were promptly scheduled for the next morning to accommodate our own work schedules. The men arrived on time, worked efficiently and courteously, and completed the project in about 1 1/2 hours. There was quite a bit of standing water on the flat roof which they swept off onto the patio on the back side of the house. Then, on their own, they thoughtfully washed the patio completely off to remove all the roof detritus. When finished, they said the company would contact us for payment. Truly amazing. This was completely different from any previous experience we have had with roofing companies. We will definitely use them when we replace the 18 yr. old existing flat roof.

Excellent job. He started the job five days later. The work was done on time. All the workers were professional and pleasant. The job was completed on time which was difficult because of some rain. Very professional job. The skylights really opened up the rooms. I would not hesitate to recommend this company and would hire them again in a heartbeat. Their prices were reasonable and the quality was first rate. John inspected the job each day and kept in touch. He always returns calls. John and I made a complete inspection at the end of the work. First rate job.

John came out 2 days after my call and gave me a full estimate on the spot. He had great ideas for solving some aesthetic and insulation problems with the patio roof. The crew was friendly and worked until dark each day. They did an excellent job of replacing old damaged boards and finishing in general. The new skylight was beautifully framed in. John came by twice to check on progress. He has the ability to size up the customer's taste and make suggestions about the final appearance of the house which were right on.

Work began one week after proposal was signed and was completed two weeks later. There was a total of 4 different jobs, and each was completed separately. The men were well trained and efficient. The work area was left neat and clean. All aspects of the job look great, and I would not hesitate to recommend this firm.

John went out to the house and figured out the quote. He then met with me and explained in detail the quote, and the different products that he uses, and the choices that I had. His quote was the most inexpensive quote out of the 3 quotes that I received. I asked him if he could explain his quote and compare it to the others, which he did. His quote was the best, and the product used appeared to be the best as well. At a later date, I had questions regarding the 30 vs 40 shingles, so I called him and he called back and explained the differences. I got together with him on a Thursday and signed the contract. The job started on an extremely hot week before a holiday weekend so they started it on Wednesday, and finished the roof on Saturday. The clean-up removal was completed on Tuesday, after the long weekend. I was fine with that because the products were stored on the roof, away from the family with toddlers that live on the property.

The re-roofing was a positive experience from start to finish. Dealt with the owner, John Houge, who not only performed the estimate, but was here to check on work progress every day. The estimate was the lowest of the three I got and there were no extra charges. The workers were polite, efficient and accommodating. Cleaned up at the end of each of the four days they were here. I highly recommend this company. And I'm sure if it ever rains again in San Diego this new roof will stand the test.

It all went very well. John came out and did the initial estimate. He explained everything thoroughly, and was well prepared with product info, copies of his contractors license & insurance certificates. He was on time, he sent a follow up letter, and he came back for a 2nd follow up meeting. His office also provided us with the addresses of similar roofs that they had done in our neighborhood. Pricing was in line with 2 other estimates we received. The work was scheduled within a week or so of us accepting the estimate. Everything went per plan, and the quality was great. The workers were skilled and professional. Everyone was always on time, and the guys worked hard and stayed late in order to finish up. Clean up was good too. They also did not have any significant charges for extra lumber used, and they went out of their way to take care of extra things, like patching the eaves, that I requested mid job. All in all, they're everything you could ask for in a contractor.

John was our 4th and last estimate for our roofing job. His bid was the highest but we chose him because of his professionalism and his awards for service and ethics. He assured us that the job would be done to our satisfaction and it was. His crew was competent and went to great lengths to keep our property clean. We really liked that they shoveled the old shingles directly into the bed of a truck that was lifted up to the roof edge instead of dumping them onto tarps on the ground. This set Professional Roofing Services apart from the other contractors and was a deciding factor in our choice of roofers. We also liked that they masked off our garage to catch the debris from the old shingles that fell through the roof planks. John showed up on the site every day and was always available via cell phone to handle any problems. We highly recommend this company.

Work began punctually on June 8th and was concluded on June 13th as scheduled. All of the preceding steps were done precisely and professionally. John was in daily contact with his workmen and answered all my questions. The new facia is beautiful and truly enhances my house. I highly recommend Professional Roofing Services for all your roofing needs.

Called on a Saturday to try and schedule an evaluation/estimate. Call was returned Monday morning with reasonable ballpark estimates given over the phone for sample work to be done. Phone agent was helpful and took care to make sure this was not work still under warranty. Crew arrived to evaluate at 3pm. Repair was completed within an hour and a half by a diligent, polite and knowledgeable crew at the low end of the figures mentioned on the phone. My only disappointment was not being able to talk to anyone on Saturday (listed as open then).

They performed very professionally. The workers started on time and finished in the allotted time for the project. They did a good job of clean-up. John Hogue is a very "hands-on" owner and kept an eye on the project the entire time. They did a great job and I would recommend them to everyone.

Mr. Houge arrived on time to give the estimate. His was one of five I received. He spent a long time on the roof & concurred what other roofers had said about the leak. I had a strong feeling of confidence in his professional opinion. His estimate was in the mid-range of others I had received. I was anxious to have the leak repaired since I was having company & wanted to seal & paint the water stain from the leak. He had crews on jobs that morning spending 3 hours stacking tile on the roof of another job & actually thought he could get them there that same afternoon! Or, I could wait & he could do the repair the following week. I felt this was good luck, not that they didn't have enough work. His crew came that afternoon & fixed the roof. It poured 2 nights later & no leak! I'm very satisfied with this job. Unlike most roofers, Professional Roofing guarantees the repair for one year. I highly recommend them & will use them again.

THE JOB WAS VERY PROFESSIONALLY DONE. THE CREW ARRIVED ON TIME, WORKED HARD OVER A THREE DAY PERIOD. I HAVE A VERY DIFFICULT, VERY FLAT ROOF ON THAT PART OF THE HOUSE AND AM NOW CONFIDENT THAT THE JOB HAS BEEN DONE PROPERLY. I GOT AN ESTIMATE THE DAY JOHN CAME TO MY HOUSE.
