We were informed very late, that a part required to do the job was not received, thereby delaying installation by a week. We were inconvenienced by having to arrange to be home, again, on site, another day and time. Poor execution by the HD installation team. The final product was excellent and installed expertly.

The service was fine. I’ve used contractors also. The people who went here were easy to work with. They were a little on the high side.

I don't know about the El Cajon store in particular but the personnel in the store I dealt with were total retards. I had to either talk to the factory or manufacturer directly to get ANY decent or timely answers to technical questions. You might have a little better luck with the distributor, but they vary per manufacturer as far as any help (milgard OK, Jeldwen's useless). So if you are ordering custom anything, be prepared. If you are ordering custom from Jeldwen also be prepared that they are so widespread and large the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. You basically again have to talk to the factories direct. Their customer service people are useless and will just confuse you.

Delivery went well, and the units are great. Hope to get many years of use out of them. Were going to haul the old ones out but as I already haul them outside so I could repaint the laundry room, someone came buy and hauled them off before Home Depot could get here. Overall we saved a lot due to the SDgand E rebates $50 plus a $250 rebate( for two appliances),as an instant rebate from Home depot.

Very well, EXTREMELY personable rep, Steve Johnson, pretty much had us sold --especially since Home Depot stands behind the window replacement --however decided that we needed and quot;new constructionand quot; (vs replacement inserts) for some of our windows ---to minimize the reduction in window size. Unfortunately Home Depot does not offer new construction windows --so cancelled our order. The cancellation was handled very politely and efficiently. Based on quotes we have received since the home depot quotes were higher---so downgraded them for that in this review.

The cost was right. They were able to do the windows almost immediately. They did a good job.

Very unhappy I called Home Depot and after speaking with a nice guy, he said he would have someone call back to see what they could do for me. This was before noon and they could've gotten someone else out. Someone named and quot;Cocoand quot; finally called back around 2 p.m. and said the only thing she could do was reschedule for another time. She was very brief, not at all sympathetic and obviously needed training in Customer Service. Today I've lost a lot of money due to Home Depot and its inept Extended Warranty provider, Assurant Solution. Lowes is now my home improvement company for all major purchases.

Found most of the material I needed, had to go elsewhere to get the rest of my supplies.

We didn't have them do the work. They charge $50 for the estimate and we are not quite sure why. It seemed like they had a third party come out and measure the rooms that needed carpeted. They actually hire that out and let the company charge $50. They did call back a few times to see if there was anything they could answer about the quote.

The service was very good, installation was right on schedule, and it went as planned. They cleaned up well and the windows are still holding up great two years later.

They are very quick, the installer they use is good. I used one of their stock, inexpensive carpets that was about $1.50 per square foot. I also bought pad from them and they had it installed, it was all arranged through Home Depot. It was all installed within 72 hours of my ordering it which helped me a lot.

When I went to the local store to purchase the new window unit: The sales people explained how the install process would work. Things went just as I was told they would. Professionalism would have gotten an A: But, for some caulk left on the wall that I had to go out and clean off. Other than that they cleaned up after themselves and took all the waste with them.

Sissi was very helpful and very knowledgeable. The results were just what we wanted and the installation was excellent. We plan to hire them to do some windows in the house.

Work order was canceled. I received a full refund.

HOME DEPOT INSTALLED THE WINDOW TREATMENTS AND THEY WERE QUICK AND VERY CLEAN IN THEIR WORK AND VERY NICE. WE HAVE DOGS THAT KEPT GETTING IN THE WAY AND THEY WERE VERY GOOD ABOUT THE TROUBLE THE DOGS GAVE THEM.

I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AS ALL WORK WAS COMPLETED AS PROMISED AND IN A TIMELY MANNER. THE EMPLOYEES WERE PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEGEABLE AND THEIR PRICES WERE COMPARABLE TO OTHER SIMILAR COMPANIES.

THE INSTALLATION WAS VERY GOOD. IT WAS A DIFFICULT JOB BUT WAS DONE QUICKLY AND CAREFULLY. THE FANS WERE JUST WHAT THIS LARGE ROOM NEEDED AND HAS REALLY ADDED TO THE COMFORT.

ORDERING CAN BE A BIT TRYING AS YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR SERVICE PERSON IF THERE IS A LINE. SERVICE FRIENDLY HOWEVER. MISTAKE MADE ON WAND ON ONE SIDE BUT WE DIDN'T CHANGE IT AS IT DIDN'T MATTER. SIZE AND COLOR WAS PERFECT. INSTALLATION IS OFFERED FOR ADDITIONAL CHARGE.

THEY CARRY HIGH QUALITY EQUIPMENT, AND RENT THEM AT REASONABLE RATES. THEY ALSO BEAT PRICES, AND HAVE A GREAT STAFF.

HOME DEPOT SCREWED UP MY ORDER 3 TIMES. I HAD TO PAY TO ORDER, THEN 'FORGOT' TO PUT IN THE ORDER. ONCE THE ORDER WAS IN, IT WAS DELAYED 2 1/2 WEEKS PAST THE FINAL DATE GIVEN. THE COUNTERS AND CABINETS WERE MEASURED INCORRECTLY. I WAS OVER CHARGED AND UNDER MEASURED WITH LENGTHY DELAYS.

VERY EASY ORDERING. THEY COME TO YOUR HOME, MEASURE AND YOU LOOK AT BOOKS FOR WHAT YOU WANT AND WAIT FOR IT TO COME. THEN THEY COME OUT AND INSTALL. VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL.

EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE A HOME DEPOT CLOSER WE STILL USE ONE IN ELCAJO. THE PEOPLE ARE MUCH EASIER TO WORK WITH. ALSO THERE ARE OTHER STORES THAT HAVE LOWER PRICES, BUT NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, SO IT SHOWS YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.
