It went great. The guys inside walked me through the installation so I could do it myself. But they also offered to install it for me for a very low price. They were very nice and extremely knowledgable about their products. I will definitely go back for my future fireplace needs.

They go above and beyond for inspections and cleanings. Yes, you can use them for high end fireplace work, but I consider them the best place for affordable, regular fireplace service and work.

I am cancelling my Angie's membership because of their opposition to Religious Freedom legislation. Farrell's installation of my wood burning stove was extremely satisfactory. They had to modify my fireplace, flue, and chimney to accept the new exhaust pipe. They provided all services from cleanup to instruction.

Job was perfect. They said it would take two weeks for the fire place screen to come and it did. They did an excellent job of installing and cleaning up. I would definitely use them again.

I was amazed at how clean they left the site every day. The old chimney hadn't been cleaned in 30 years, so it was definitely a challenge. The crew was on time every day, and the owner personally tracked the progress of the installation. They definitely went above and beyond - the electrician replaced a cracked electrical outlet on the outside wall of the fireplace, the gas plumber installed a safety cut-off valve on the gas line for the outside barbeque. Communication is the key to any successful contract, and Farrell's Fireside Shop did an excellent job. We love love our new fireplace and are thinking of installing a new corner fireplace for our living room.

I had originally bought a log set from the Warm Hearth and had received bad advice. The grate and gas set came first and the grate stuck out in the front so we moved it the fireplace in the family room. I was shocked when the logs came. They were enormous making for an ugly set up that didn't work very well!!. I called Farrell's to do a new set for the living room and explained what happened with the original set. I didn't even have to go to the showroom. John Farrell came out and measured it, chose a beautiful set and installed it. He really knew his business. (My son had installed the other). He then went to the family room and reworked on the set that had gone badly, moving gigantic logs and getting the gas to work. ( we ultimately took one out but he made a heroic effort on something he wouldn't have chosen) I can't remember the cost of the installation but it was VERY reasonable, the same as some trip charges that I've paid. He didn't charge extra for the work on the family room fireplace. The cost of the log set for the LR was also reasonable. After all, I had a price comparison. He was a very nice man, in business for a long time, just trying to make his customers happy. I would definitely use him again but obviously don't need such services in the near future.'

It was cheaper to clean it than to replace it. He was really good. With regard to price, we went around and did some bids.

It was very good. They have been around for years. They sell and install fireplaces. They do the complete service afterwards. I bought a home that had the service so I used them. He was efficient and on time. He didn't make a mess. He contained the soot. He cleaned the fireplace and made the adjustments. He did a heck of a nice job and left us well satisfied.

On Nov 13th, I called to have them fix my pellet stove which jammed on its own and then wouldn't turn on. On Nov 23rd, Andy and his trainee came out and cleaned the stove and fixed the jam, but it turned on and worked fine so they left. On Dec 12th when it stopped working again, I called again. Andy came out a couple of days later but couldn't fix the problem, so he said he'd have somebody call me. When nobody called, I called back on Jan 2nd, and again Andy said he'd have somebody call me. But nobody did, so I called again on Jan 23nd and got the same answer. It's now Feb 14th, nobody has called and I still don't have a working pellet stove, even though I've been trying for months to get them to fix it.

This was our second time using Farrell's and we'll use them again. They made this an easy experience for us.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY IS THEY WERE VERY NICE AND PROFESSIONAL AND TAKES ALLOT OF ENGINEERING TO REDESIGN A FIREPLACE. IT LOOKS GREAT AND CLASSY.

THIS COMPANY WAS A HUGE HASSLE. THEY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD FOR UNNECESSARY ITEMS WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. I HAD TO DEAL WITH THE HASSLES OF MY BANK TO GET THIS FIGURED OUT.

I WENT INTO THE STORE TO PURCHASE A CHIMNEY CAP FOR A WOOD BURNING STOVE. OF COURSE I GUESSED AND IT WAS THE WRONG ONE. I BROUGHT IN THE OLD ONE WHICH WAS VERY BENT UP DUE TO THE STRONG WINDS THAT BLEW IT OFF. THEY SOLD ME THE RIGHT ONE. GOT HOME AND IT WOULDN'T FIT. I CALLED THEM BACK AND TOLD THEM. THEY HAD SOMEONE IN THE AREA. HE STOPPED BY AND FIXED THE PROBLEM. THEY WERE GREAT

GAVE US A GREAT PRICE ON THE FIREPLACE AND DELIVERED IT IN A SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME.

THEY EXPLAINED EVERYTHING THEY WERE GOING TO DO. PLASTIC SHEETING WAS USED ON THE FLOORING TO KEEP THE WALKWAY CLEAN. THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND DID AN EXCELLENT JOB.

THEY HAD A GOOD SELECTION OF WHAT WE WANTED. THE PRICE WAS GOOD. THEY DELIVERED AND INSTALLED THE STOVE IN A DIFFICULT OLD HOUSE. THEY DID A GREAT JOB WITHOUT COMPLAINING WHEN IT GOT TOUGH. NOT THE MOST PROFESSIONAL LOOKING CREW BUT THEY HAD WHAT IT TAKES TO DO THE JOB RIGHT.

VERY POLITE, ON TIME. THEY REALLY DID A GREAT JOB.

THEY HAD A LONG WAIT TO GET THE WORK DONE, EMPLOYEE HAD A POOR WORK ETHIC AND LEFT A MESS.

NOT ONLY GREAT WORKMANSHIP AND GOOD PRODUCT - GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY ARE FRIENDLY AND KNOW THEIR PRODUCTS. THEY HAVE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN THE FIREPLACE BUSINESS AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.
