My name is Jason Nelson, I independently own & operate this business. Dependable Door is an emergency garage door repair business. I accept cash, check & all major credit cards due upon completion of any repair work. For new door purchases I collect a ten percent deposit up front & the remaining balance once the door is installed.

I repair & replace residential garage doors & motors. I sell remote controls, reprogram existing ones, can replace springs, cables, hinges & any other universal parts on garage doors. I fix metal doors as well as wood ones, from the new roll up doors to the older wood tilt up doors. I can reinforce the panels of a door adding integrity to damaged panels as well as replace dammaged panels. I handle the repair of motors as well, from replacing worn parts to even new motor installation,

Services we don't offer

I don't offer carpentry work on wood doors nor do I work on commercial garage doors.

I've used Jason before back in Sept 2012. The garage door would not open/close at all and he replaced the springs. On this occasion the carriage finally wore out so I called him up around noon. He was able to come out the same day and gave me a time-window. On this occasion he was not going make the window so he called asking if it could be extended an hour. Hey, stuff happens and I'm glad he called. He arrived when he said he would and quickly solved the problem. Dependable Garage Door Services is a very small shop which I like because small shops tend to do a better job in my experience. Anyway, highly recommended!
Description of Work: Jason replaced the carriage on my Genie garage door opener. The carriage is the part that's connected to the top of the garage door and engages the screw in order to raise and lower the garage door.
