I contacted Considerate Tree Care, Inc, (Joe Jonas) a year or so ago to ask about saving a sick lemon tree and I was very impressed with his knowledge and cooperation at that time. When I needed some serious tree trimming I called him again and he arrived right on time to give me an estimate which I thought was very reasonable. The date came to trim the trees and he arrived with his lift truck and help right on time again. They immediately got to work. The large orange tree had never been trimmed and it now looks so very beautiful! There was a large overgrown juniper on a steep hillside in front of the house picture windows that was so big it blocked out the view of the ocean. Joe Jonas trimmed the juniper to the point that it now adds tons of esthetic value to the house, and now the ocean can be seen again through the picture windows. It is just gorgeous! I had several overgrown bird of paradise trees that were several stories high and Joe made them look very nice again too. The other trees were fruit trees and they also look more like they should and I am expected tons of fruit next season. What can I say? Considerate Tree Care, Inc. did such a great job on my neglected trees that I can hardly believe it. Don't wait to take better care of your trees....call Joe Jonas! It was well worth the price! Very professional and conscientious about surrounding plants when working too. They cleaned up all the debris leaving nothing for me to do after they left! It went very well. Joe spent a lot of time explaining what was wrong with the tree and how we might do a few things on our own toward saving it. He took soil samples and measured the soil dryness, looked at the root area and gave us an excellent education about the science of the disease and cause of the problems . He also made some additional recommendations that we plan to do with professional help from a horticulturalist . The consultation was intended to be 1 hour and Joe was very gracious with his time and stayed two hours. Joe was very engaging and it was obvious to us that he really loved his work and sincerely wanted to help seek a solution to save the tree rather than just letting it die and be cut down. We also asked his advice on some soil and what we could plant to enhance the area. In addition he offered suggestions about how decisions on watering should be made in order to use our recourses wisely. We felt that once again Angie's list was an excellent resource especially for finding the right person in an area that we do not have knowledge.

Joe and his crew were a pleasure to work with. They did a great job trimming our 2 palm trees and squaring up the hedge. Joe's advice and genuine concern with the health of our hedge (and trees) were invaluable. Highly recommend Considerate Tree Care. Would call again without hesitation.

Joe Jonas and his crew were a dream to work with! Although scheduling was a bit tight due to his busy schedule and my requirement, we were able to easily work thing out and all the work was completed in a day. When the crew left, the yard was as clean as could be! Joe spent a lot of time on-site working hands on as well as directing and supervising his two employees. Joe went above and beyond as well in that I asked him to leave some palm fronds behind for some students who needed them for a project. His experience showed when he suggested that "just in case" I needed it, he would swing back by and remove any that were left. Sure enough, the students had overestimate their needs and their ability to transport these huge Queen Palm fronds and they left many behind. A quick call to Joe and his crew was scheduled to stop by in the morning to dispatch with them!

Mr. Jonas was punctual, professional and very knowledgeable. He was also personable and would definitely use again.

Joe Jonas is an exceptional provider. Polite, efficient, knowledgeable, good sense of humor. We made an appointment for him to review the health of our 2 mulberry trees. He went beyond what was expected and really gave us a whole-yard consult with regard in particular to efficient watering. As a result, we put 2 extra sprinkler heads around our young olive tree, as well as fertilizing and establishing a deep watering schedule for the mulberry trees. These trees provide needed shade for our back patio and I feel their lives have been extended due to his counseling. Joe is very available by phone or email. He offered to come back to review what we'd done and how the trees are doing. Our water bill has not increased and I feel the water is being used in the correct way. I used the coupon on Angie's List for the $85.00 charge--more than worth it! I would definitely call Joe again for any landscaping advice.

After meeting with the owner, Joe Jonas, I hired Considerate Tree Care to trim and lace three orchid trees at my rental property. Joe is a wealth of knowledge for all things tree-related and landscapes in general. He spent a considerable amount of time with me and gave the whole project very personal attention. He and his crew completed the job in a timely, professional and thorough fashion. I would definitely hire Joe again for tree work and even for general consultation for landscaping.

Wonderfully. This is the second time I've used Considerate Tree Care and don't anticipate ever using anyone else! The owner, Joe Jonas, is a consummate professional who has hired extremely competent tree trimmers who take great care in completing the work quickly and efficiently. Their clean-up is excellent and the prices very reasonable.

It was a pleasure having Joe and his team on our property. We had been looking for an expert in lacing and were very happy to find Considerate Tree Care. Joe approached the trimming of the trees like an artist, carefully evaluating the overall look while also considering cuts needed to take the weight off the branches and hinder breakage. He listened to our request to maintain the screening provided by the trees, and studied the impact of the cuts from different viewpoints. He personally invests the time to create a beautifully laced tree.

It went well, we received more information that we were prepared to process regarding not just the trees, but the general state of the vegetation.

The trees and bamboo had been planted along the south-facing fence line of our back yard in an attempt to achieve some privacy from the apartment building next door. It didn't work, and they needed to be removed. We contacted Joe, whom we've called in twice before, to take them out. Joe and his crew were able to get the trees out relatively quickly, despite the fact that the tree trunks were located right up against the fence, and on the other side of the fence is a steep slope. Joe decided to do did some research to determine whether the leaves could be left for mulch or had to be raked up and hauled away. He found that they could be left, saving time and possibly some cost. For the bamboo, after Joe and his crew removed the vegetation, he called in a stump grinder to cut around the perimeter of the clumps, so they could be lifted out. They then sifted through all the dirt to ensure no bamboo material was left.That will prevent new bamboo from sprouting up in the future. Everything was cleaned up and hauled away. Joe and his crew did an outstanding job, and l couldn't recommend them more highly. I definitely will be calling them again in the future.

Mr. Joe came out the very next day after I contacted his company of an estimate. He looked over the situation, and made great suggestions, most of which I hadn't even thought of! He advised me that the treatment of the trees is really something that he and I and the neighbor who wants me to do the work should get together to discuss, (as there are many options), and how we should handle the cost, (as I'm only doing this for the neighbor, and I can't afford to do it myself). I'll be contacting Mr. Joe as soon as I can contact my neighbor, and I greatly appreciate his honesty! He has a lot of experience, and is very easy to speak with. I called Joe to schedule a consultation/estimate on the removal of a Limber Pine (I think that is the name he told me) tree. Because of our conflicting schedules, he said he would call me in three weeks to schedule a consultation for the following day. Three weeks later, Joe called me and we figured out a time that would work for both of us. The next day he called me to confirm my address and to let me know that he would be a little for our appointment. I really appreciated it that phone call because in the past I had appointments with other arborists, who decided to not to show up and to not even give me a courtesy call. When Joe arrived he acted very professional and friendly. My 2 year-old son was with me at the time, and Joe was very friendly towards him as well. Joe proceeded to ask me how he could help us. I explained that we have a pine tree that needed to be removed. He then told me that kind of pine tree was called Limber Pine, I believe. I explained to him that the roots from the tree were damaging the private road where I live, and that the road needed to be repaved. Therefore, I would like to cut the tree so that the tree will not damage the newly paved road. I briefly explained to him what other arborists had told me that needed to be done to the tree. His view of what needed to be done to it was very different in a POSITIVE way. He explained to me that he tree was old and beautiful, and that it didn't need to be removed. Instead, he could sever the root(s) leading to the road, place something to block the root from growing again in that area, and thin the limbs and top of the three to minimize the stress on the remaining healthy roots, and to consequently decrease the likelihood that the tree would fall down one day. He also encouraged me to discuss this idea with me wife--and of course my son, as Joe suggested--and to consider doing the job sometime between November and January. Although Joe didn't say why wait this long to perform the job, his suggestion seemed to be in line with what other arborists that mentioned to me about my pine tree; pine trees should only me serviced in the fall and/or winter. At the end of the consultation, Joe said he could not give me an estimate of how much it would cost to do the job. He explained to me that he would like to do this job appropriately and correctly, which meant dig along the road to see how many other big roots were growing under the road and their size. Only then he would be able to give me an estimate of how much the job would cost and its the length of time. As a customer, I really appreciate it that because it meant that the estimate he gives is based on what he sees and is really going on, rather that what he thinks he sees or might be going on. To me that is true honesty! Overall, I was really please with my interaction with Joe. Although he did not service our tree yet, he provided an outstanding costumer service and a great free consultation. Without a doubt Joe is very knowledgeable on what he does. Additionally, he prioritizes saving trees when possible over cutting them down when it is unnecessary to do so. I really liked that about him because my family values that as well. Thank you, Joe, for all your great advise! I look forward to doing business with you in the future.

.I have been following everything he recommended. Had my tree sprayed, reduced dramatically the watering of plants and trees etc. It's still to soon to tell

Joe and his crew of 2 spent the day artfully and professionally trimming and thinning 5 medium sized trees. It cost significantly more than the weekly gardener would charge, but the work is waaayyy better. They trimmed a Palo Verde, Olive, Ceonothus "Ray Hartman", Ornamental Plum and a 25' front yard developer tree.

As stated previously, the day with Considerate Tree Care was perfect - for us and our trees and bushes.

It went very well. Every time, he came exactly when he said he was going to come. He came quickly to inspect the site. Then he figured it was not in immediate danger, so we made an appointment to come back later. He explains very well what was needed. He came and did the job perfectly. Then several days later, he made an another appointment to check that all was well and he assured us if the flower posed any danger again he will come and fix it. He is a very friendly and caring person and takes pride in what he does.

It went well. Joe is good to work with and his guys were very good also.

Considerate Tree Care was excellent with their quick response and providing me with the information of another provider that could better serve my needs. Rather than coming out to inspect the tree and then recommend someone else Joseph recommended on the phone who I should have look at the tree. He thought it needed to be sprayed for bugs and insects based on my description. He recommended I Contact Jim's Horticulture Service. Thanks to Joseph of Considerate Tree Care I was able to have my tree properly treated the next day by the person he recommended. Considerate Tree Care suggested I request the refund since they did not perform the work or the service I was needing at this time. Considerate Tree Care is to be commended for their honesty of not just taking the deal $ and then recommending someone else.

I called them and found out they were not the company I was looking for but our contact was brief and pleasant. They provide tree rehabilitation.

What a great company to deal with! I called Considerate Tree Care, Inc. based on my research here on Angie's List. I spoke with Joseph and he came to the house to give us an estimate. I was very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. Joseph quoted me what I felt was a reasonable price for the work to be completed. We scheduled a date to have the work done. The work was completed as scheduled. Joseph ensured that everything was done to our satisfaction. The work was outstanding and exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be using their services in the future! I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone requiring tree trimming.

This was an absolutely painless process. Joe came out and gave us a quote along with some suggestions about how to make our yard and trees healthy once again. He and his crew showed up on time on our scheduled work day and spent the entire day trimming and shaping... by hand. No power tools that could tear the trees apart. They took exceptional care to not destroy any of the surrounding vegetation and they cleaned up everything... our yard looked better than when they showed up. Joe went above and beyond what was expected. I would recommend Joe and his company to anyone that needs this type of service.

Joseph came out to our house to assess the condition of the tree and advise the best course of action. Our tree was so dense and heavy that we were unsure if it could be trimmed to our satisfaction, Joe assured us that it could be, and detailed the work that he would do. We were given some trees to look at up in Kensington that he had done and we were satisfied that that is what we wanted. The work was completed over a period of about three days and the result was very nice. Our tree that at one time we considered removing was now an asset to the property. Compared to other tree services we have employed in he past, this company met and exceeded all of our expectations.

Joseph arrived on time and I showed him the areas of concern. After inspecting around and in my house he was very reassuring that the tree was okay and not currently causing any harm to my home. He said he would be happy to return again for any other concerns I might have and he didn't charge me anything for the inspection. Thank you Joseph :)
