Joe and his crew arrived right on time and started work immediately. They wasted no time in skilfully trimming and shapeing each tree, while periodically checking whether we were pleased with the progress of the job. They finished in the time Joe had estimated, including a thorough clean up, leaving our yard cleaner than when they arrived. Their work was such a pleasant surprise after a previous tree company had butchered our trees several years ago. Although slightly more expensive than other companies estimates, the quality of their work and their work ethic was worth every penny. It was a pleasure doing business with them and they will definetely be our first choice for any future tree trimming or removal jobs.

Mr. Jonas returned my call quickly and we set up a time for an estimate. He arrived on time and remembered coming out a couple years ago for another estimate. At that time I did not have any work done by anyone. I told him my neighbor had complained about the trees and that I wanted them to be made safe but that I was on a budget. He gave me a verbal estimate. After getting other estimates I decided to hire Considerate Tree Care as Mr. Jonas was very professional and the price was about what I was expecting. I called him to ask if his estimate included the Angie's List discount. He said it did not and that he would honor the discount. He also said there would be an added fee if we paid by credit card. He said he would call me back on Monday to schedule the tree work. On Monday, he called to say they could do the work on Tuesday. On Tuesday his crew arrived as promised. They worked all day and did a great job of cleaning up. Mr. Jonas was there to check on things throughout the work and collected payment once they were done and I was satisfied with the work. Everything couldn't have gone smoother. I would highly recommend them and would use them again in the future.

I called Mr. Jonas at his contact #, and he returned call the next day. He stated that he was working on a large job, but would get to me as soon as possible. He called me daily for the next 3 days to tell me he was still busy, but then called to inform me he could come the following day at noon for an estimate. Promptly he arrived, and we came to an agreement on the work that needed to be done, and the price. I did not get other estimates due to all the good reviews I had read here. I also agreed to have short notice of having the work done, as this was a half day job. Two days later, Joe let me know they could be here the next morning , if that was agreeable to me. Right on time, Mr. J. arrived with his two helpers, whom he introduced to me. All three went to work, and I left them to their job, after seeing them covering the drive with a tarp, and asking them to cut the tree trunk and limbs into logs for fire wood. They stacked these in a separate location from the stand of the tree, where I requested. A few hours later, Joe asked me to come and inspect their work. I asked for a few additional snips to some adjoining bushes, that took away attention from my now gorgeous Pine. Joe also noticed that another tree had some foliage impinging my roof and had his helper cut it. When all was done to my satisfaction, They cleaned up everything, and left the work site spotless. Mr. Jonas and his helpers were personable and friendly. They made a job that I dreaded into a pleasant experience. I have already recommended him to a friend, and I will definitely use his services again.

Joe and Considerate Tree Care are really great and you should consider them for any tree related work you may need. I have had Considerate Tree Care come out once a year for the last three years now and trim my Tipuana tree, fruit trees and other smaller trees. Joe is a great guy and extremely knowledgeable. Before he came out the first year he walked the property with me and informed me about how to manage my fruit trees(orange, tangerine, lemon, lime, peach, asian pear, and apple), my specimen trees, my shrubs, and my palms. His easy to understand and follow advice turned my struggling fruits trees into beautiful healthy high producing trees. My King palms were also struggling and had a simple solution again which was easy to follow and they are now thriving. Overall you cannot go wrong with Joe and CTC.

I emailed Joe and within a couple of days I received an email back asking me to call. He answered my questions on that initial call and suggested that I look into a few more things and get back with him. I emailed him back with the new information and Joe contacted me back the next day. Joe is very professional and has patience with those (like myself) who are pretty darn clueless to what we need & what is available :)

We called Considerate to find out how to resuscitate the three citrus trees in the backyard of our new home. Joseph Jonas spent over an hour with us going over our irrigation system, soil type, infestations, and everything else we needed to know about taking care of the trees and our yards in general. He also recommended the different products we should use and where we could find them. He was honest about the amount of work involved in getting the trees back on track and even gave us suggestions if we wanted to tackle it ourselves. All in all a great experience.

Everything was done in a very professional manner from start to finish. We were very happy with the service.

Joseph Jonas is AWESOME! He carried out the job as requested and gave us a lot of valuable information about the other trees in our backyard. We looked him up on Angies List and saw his many favorable reviews. That is what prompted us to call him initially. We found favorable reviews to be well deserved. His company is appropriately named "Considerate Tree Care" because he brings a lot of enthusiasm, knowledge and TLC (tender loving care) to each job. We learned a lot about our other trees and will definitely call him again as the other trees need trimming. The one tree we had to remove was a tree my mother planted before she passed away years ago. The tree had a lot of sentimental value to me and I hated to see it go. However, Joe gave me the suggestion of taking some of the wood to a local wood craftsman and have him create something special with it. This especially made the removal a lot less difficult for me. Definitely recommend Joe to anyone looking for tree care!

My experience with Considerate Tree Care was wonderful. Trimming the two large trees provided some real challenges. They grow right up against a fence that marks the property line between my yard and a steep slope on the apartment house property next door. In addition, they had been improperly trimmed in the past. Joe Jonas quickly and efficiently provided the paperwork required for him and his crew to gain access to the apartment property and confirmed the arrangements and arrival time the day before. The trees were trimmed to maintain the privacy that they provide from the apartment building (Joe checked with me during the process) and to correct as much as possible the problems that had resulted from prior trimmings. The Brazilian Pepper Tree shoots, which were growing along the fence on the apartment property, were thinned and trimmed to maintain the privacy they provide from the apartment building and to redirect their growth away from our house. Cleanup was very thorough on both sides of the fence, and Joe even offered to haul away a pile of trimmings that we hadn't gotten rid of. Joe is very personable, professional, and knowledgeable about tree care and trimming. I won't hesitate to call him back for future jobs.

He was very helpful, very knowledgable, offered advice regarding our irrigation system. He also gave me advice on when to prune the existing trees and on how to prevent further root damage caused by a few of my trees without removing them which would have completely changed my whole landscape layout. He also gave me advice on proper tools to use for women who have smaller hands, which I thought was very helpful. He is a certified arborist. I would call him again for future landscape changes.

Great! This was our second time using Considerate Tree Care to follow up on our maple and citrus trees. Joe and his crew spent 2 days placing fertilizer, compost and mulch under our trees and our yard looked 100 times better. We entertained in our back yard Labor Day weekend and received many compliments from our friends. I know our trees are happier with the soil amendments and new watering schedule too. I can't thank Joe enough for his expertise and hopefully our 40 year old maple will live for many more years!

It went extremely well. We were very impressed about how quickly he responded to our problem coming from far away to help us. He rearranged his other jobs so he could help us. They did a fantastic job; they removed the limbs without destroying or damaging the other plants; they left the area clean like nothing had happened. The really exceeded our expectations. They worked very fast and very thoroughly. We thought maybe there would be an extra charge since it was sort of an emergency, but no. And he also gave us the Angie's List discount for members!!

I called Joe to get an estimate on approximately 4 trees that we have on our property. All of the trees have not been trimmed since they where probably planted 10 years ago. Joe was very prompt and come out on a Saturday to give me the quote. He spent well over 1 hour giving me all sort of advice from the trees to my lawn. He is truly an expert and impressed me from the beginning. At the end he presented me with a written quote on a piece of standard notebook paper. Seemed sort of strange at the time; however, all of the reviews he had as well as his licenses checked out so I looked past this. The quote was a little higher then we expected and compared against the other quotes we received from other Angie's List providers. Many of the quotes we received came back higher then we where expecting so my wife and I had to re-evaluate the amount of work we wanted. At this time we decided that we would reduce the work to a single tree. Since Joe impressed us so much we really wanted him do the services but we had to negotiate on price. Negotiating with Joe was easy, but I didn't try to low ball him, I tried to be fair with my counter offer in comparison against the other quotes and the quality I thought Joe brought to the table. We agreed on $700 for the single tree and I agreeded to the job. Joe was already working another job so he said it would be about a week before he could get to it. That actually worked out very well for me because I need a little time so I can get time off of work. Joe's crew showed up exactly on time and were more the polite. They were professional looking and appeared to have all the necessary safety equipment. They spent about 30 minutes setting up ensuring that they would not bother my neighbors and was very careful not to damage the tree as the drove by it. I am at the end of a Cul-de-sac so the team had to spend a little time positioning their truck just right. As Joe promised no work was done until he showed up and reviewed the tree. For the next couple of hours Joe supervised informing the team of what he wanted while they executed. The team paid close attention to safety wearing all of the appropriate harnesses while on the lift and utilized breathing masks (as the tree was giving off an insane amount of seeds and "fuzzies", trust me it was really bad). I had an 18 month old child with me and Joe (before the job started) told us to stay inside because the air was going to get full of seeds. I am very glad we did. Joe and his team spent the next 4 - 5 hours on the tree being very strategic on their cuts. The team took their time and you could see that they where thinking before cutting. This was truly a quality job. As promised Joe and his team delivered a quality tree service and kept the shape of the tree. There was no "open spaces" or "dead spots" that took away from the shape of the tree. Although the amount of material that was removed was huge the tree looked GREAT!!!! The cleanup was spotless. I believe my yard was actually cleaner after they left then when they showed up. I believe anybody will be extremely happy with the work Considerate Tree Care provides and can fit into any budget.

Went very well. Joe is a very nice guy and goes above and beyond with his work. He was even kind enough to deliver a 50 pound bag of fertilizer! Very knowledgeable and does great work.

I called Joe Jonas to provide advice about a neighbor's tree that overhangs my house and a third neighbor's house. He recommended that all property owners be present. The tree owner agreed and we met to discuss the tree in question. Right away Joe mentioned he did not have the staff to undertake any work on the tree in question due to where the tree is located (no access except on foot via narrow walkways, all rope work). He then proceeded to describe the good and the bad about this tree and what he recommended needed to be done. He provided the name of a reputable firm to the tree owner. We received what we needed -- an independent evaluation of the tree's current health and state along with some recommendations. Joe is very personable and takes time to carefully explain his recommendations.

The entire process was very satisfying. Joe and his crew were professional, and easy to communicate with. They did an exceptional job, including a through clean up. I highly recommend Considerate Tree Care for price, and quality of work!

Joe and his crew did an excellent job. I'm a very happy customer and will use Considerate Tree Care again in the future. These guys took great care of me and my trees, and even made sure not to disturb a birds nest. They were polite, professional, punctual, and minded the details.

He was extremely friendly and helpful. I'm now confident that I can fix the irrigation system and properly fertilize. Most importantly, he said he'll come back in six weeks for a free evaluation of progress. Totally worth the money.
