I spoke to him on the telephone and then met him in person at an Energy Upgrade California house tour. At the house tour I told him we already had an energy audit and asked if he would he be interested in doing the work on our house. He said he would and I sent him the audit reports by email. After a week passed, I sent an email to ask if he received the reports and if he was interested in doing the work. He wrote back and stated, "If you are just looking for a participating EUC contractor and you want [your] project completed before June 30th please contact" one of the project managers at the CCSE. He could have saved me time and effort if he had stated at the outset that he would only do work for people who wanted to wait for the PACE program. It was unprofessional.
