Description of Work: Charlie was great! He was very professional, punctual. I sent him a photo of the part |I thought I needed and he arrived with the part and was able to fix my heater without another |trip and added expense. ( Other people I called that you recommended were going to charge me extra for diagnosis etc.) He cleaned my heater and also threw in an air filter. I couldn't be happier with the service I received from Charlie! Thank you!!!!

Description of Work: Came out and checked unit. Found it to be low on refrigerant liquid. Filled for free. |Called again because unit wasn't working properly. Found a bad part and replaced it. Working great now. |Over the years Charles has made about trips over and tweaked stuff to get ac working properly at no charge.

Description of Work: Owner Charlie is a great guy. My A/C / heat pump problem really stumped him but eventually he figured it out. I think he can out a total of 5 times without charging me till he figured out the problem and fixed it. It only acted up in those really hot days and would start blowing hot air. The previous company I had come out looked at it for 30 minutes and told me there was no problem. A week later I got a bill for $160 for 1.5 hours including travel time to and from another job site. Super shady.

Description of Work: SDG&E SHUT OFF MY FURNACE BECAUSE OF PILOT FLAME FLOATING. I HAD CHARLIE COME OUT AND PERFORM A LONG OVERDUE MAINTENANCE TO BOTH MY GAS FURNACES, BOTH 25 YEARS OLD. AN HOUR AND A HALF LATER, BOTH FURNACES WERE UP AND RUNNING LIKE NEW. HE CLEANED BURNERS, FIREBOX, BLOWER, RESEALED DUCTING WHERE IT ENTERED FURNACE, LUBED BLOWERS AND VACUUMED UP. VERY NICE PERSON TO DEAL WITH. FAIR PRICES, HONEST PROBLEM SOLVER & EVALUATOR. WOULD TRUST CHARLIE FOR SMALL OR LARGE HEATING REPAIR JOB.

 + -1 moreI meet Charlie, approxiamately 10 days prior to installation, to give me a bid on a complete system for a rental home that I own. He met me at the property at the exact time we had set up and faxed me a bid within a day or two. After receiving one other bid at almost double the price I gave Charlie the job. To accomodate the tenants he scheduled the work for a Friday and a Saturday. Everything went as planned and the work was completed on the following Monday, just as planned. He was great at keeping the property cleaned up as he worked. I have since recomended to several others.
Description of Work: Central Heating and Air installed a new furnace, AC unit and all new ducting.

 + -1 moreCharlie did an awesome job! I had just bought a property with 4 units and had no idea on the state of the furnaces. Charlie did an honest assessment on each, and whereas other contractors might have tried to sell me a new furnace, he repaired each for the most economical price possible. He even came in on a Sunday to complete one of the repairs that required a new part. Charlie did a great job repairing some torn ductwork in the attic, and even looked at a faulty gas connection on a stove that didn't light! On top of all that, he did it for an exceedingly reasonable price; other heating contractors would have easily charged 50% more. Of all the contractors I've had fixing up this property, Charlie is by far the best. I highly recommend him for any heating servicing needs!
Description of Work: Charlie serviced 4 wall furnaces and 1 central furnace and repaired ductwork in the attic.

Description of Work: We needed a new heating system installed in three days....Charles came over the day I called and crawled under the house twice, went over the options, and provided an estimate that same visit. He was very reasonably priced, and said he could have the entire thing installed in two days. Charles even called and gave me the option of a high efficiency furnace that would cost $600 more but I would get $200 from SDG&E and $1,100 back from the federal government. So, I went for it, and Charles got the furnace in in two days and everything works perfectly. He even came back and checked on the unit three days later to make sure it was working properly.
