He was really knowledgeable, but his prices were a little higher than what I am used to.

I was very disappointed with this company. I felt the serviceman did not check out things before making a judgement and was going to charge way too much. He stated I needed a minor tank rebuild on my toilet estimated at $232.00, a cleaning of my bathtub drain estimated at $182.00 and a new air gap valve in the kitchen estimated at $232.00. This totaled $646.00. The serviceman was polite and friendly but did not check the airgap to see if needed to be cleaned. I had another company complete my work for a total of $149.00. My airgap only needed cleaning, my toilet needed a repair, and my lavatory sink was cleared. My bathroom tub drain was not in need of being cleared. I feel I should be due a refund of $42.00 but I was too timid to request it. I do not know the connection but my written estimate was on a form that was titled Benjamin Franklin, The Punctual Plumber. He said all prices were preset. The company was actually Walter Anderson Plumbing. Servicemans name was Ed.

I have used this service before and was well pleased, so when I called and could not get an appointment until two weeks due to hot weather and lots of service calls, I was willing to wait. They came when expected. The technician used shoe covers in the house. He explained everything that needed to be done and explained to me the service contract options. I signed up for the option because it provides customer priority and two PM checks each year. Thus, my cost of $336 includes a fall PM check for the furnace and two units.

I had a toilet that ran continuously and could not be adjusted to stop. Since I was pretty busy, I contacted Anderson plumbing, and made an appointment. Technician arrived promptly on time, was courteous and professional and changed out the flushing mechanism in the tank 10 minutes or so. They charged $232 for installing a $20 mechanism in 10 minutes. A good job, but very pricey, I should have done it myself.

Quick, excellent service, job completed on time, very professional.

Some of the things that still need to be fixed I have been waiting fir a month. They are minor items and I have not paid them yet.

I spoke to Megan, who told me that she was unable to give me any pricing information over the phone. This is understandable, and I was not surprised since most plumbers seem to have the same policy. However, she then told me that there was a $42 charge for them to even come out for an estimate. If I went ahead with the work, this amount would be applied toward the cost; if not, I would be out $42. This practice seems outrageous and probably allows the company to charge more than what is fair. You are more likely to accept their price, reasonable or not, to avoid throwing away money. I chose to go with another company that was confident enough in their prices to give a free estimate.

GREAT! They were obsessive about service - calling us back on time and meeting our expectations. They called 1/2 hour before arrival. My small reservation is that if you know what kind of work you are having done, consider buying the part/component yourself and then paying only for the labor. Be sure to buy a high quality part. You lose the warranty, but I think they will do an excellent installation, and if you use cheap parts that should be your problem anyway.

Sean was not only on time, he came early. Seemed very knowledgeable and experienced. After installing hose bib and doing sprinkler valve work (estimated at about $400), he discovered that my pressure reducer valve was no longer working. As I have had home flooding due to burst fittings in the past, and dont want to ever again, I had him go ahead an replace it. This was an additional $400. He worked very fast and clean. Later, I researched pressure reducer valves. Some sources said that its not desirable to have hoses and sprinklers connected *after* the pressure reducer valve (as mine is), because you *want* the high pressure for them. (My sprinkler pressure low.) Its not a really huge deal, but I am disappointed that Sean didnt point that out to me. I could be wrong, but that should have been an obvious adjustment for him to make, easy to do since he was cutting and repiping to install the new valve anyway, and included as part of the the job. Cost was *much* more than I expected.

I appreciated the fact that they didnt try to do more work than was necessary. They were very professional, helpful, on time, and personable. The work was done well. A good experience, overall.

Unknown costs prevented us from hiring this company. When I spoke to the company representative, she told me that the plumber will charge us on-site. She would not give us a price approximation therefore we chose not to hire them.

The plumber was on time and we were very happy with the results. He provided a variety of options to fix our problem and was very professional. My only criticism is that, at the end of the project, he wanted to sell us a water filtration system. I wasnt really interested in suddenly dealing with a sales visit. It wasnt a big deal and I declined and he left. Nevertheless, we are very satisfied with the job.

My plumber was Adam Harman, who did a great job. He answered a slew of questions from me with patience and good answers. The work was a bit pricey, but it was certainly extensive, and other bids I got were similar, so I would say they were competitive. They were on time, professionally dressed, and conducted themselves well. I would certainly use them again.

Everything was satisfactory but I think the price was a little too much. They were punctual.

The overall experience was excellent. Due to a cancellation, they were able to come earlier than originally scheduled. The technician explained all that needed to be done and reviewed with me the available water heaters in stock and explained their differences. They also had a 25% off sale at the time of the replacement.

Overall, my experience was excellent. Fernando was on time, kept me apprised of status, and he was very personable and polite and hard-working. Furthermore, he kept area clean and tidy as much as could be expected in the muddy conditions in which he was working and minimized impact on other areas of my house and yard. Fernando patiently answered questions and explained the process. His supervisor, Cisto, was also available on site and was polite and informed. Even though my plumbing problems were costly and intrusive (I didnt have use of my home for five days), the experience was made tolerable by Walter Anderson, Fernando in particular. And... they performed the work for a fixed price. I highly recommend them.

Technician was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and conscientious. Work was done in a reasonable time and to high quality. The technician put shoe coverings on whenever working in the house. Everything was left clean and orderly. He offered suggestions for keeping the equipment working and didn't try and sell me additional services. He just did his job and left me with a good explanation of what he had done and paperwork to refer to later. I would definitely recommend this company.

In one earlier job we had a few issues with Walter Anderson. But they have gone above and beyond the call to rectify all issues and satisfy us completely. As a result we did more work with them and couldnt possibly be more pleased. They genuinely seem interested in the satisfaction of their customers and you cant say that about every contractor! Highly recommended.

This was a huge mess, and Justin made the repair straightforward and as painless as possible. We had a trench exposing the pipes the length of our family room and kitchen. We now have new copper pipes, a new perfectly matched repaired ceiling in our kitchen, and a repaired, still drying and blending popcorn family-room ceiling. Justin worked very hard and explained everything. He kept our home as clean as possible during the process and cleaned up thoroughly in the end. We will definitely hire WA again and ask for Justin Veraldi (plumbing expert) or Ricardo Lopez for drywall.

WHEN WE HAD AN EMERGENCY, THEY WERE A GREAT HELP. WE HIRED THEM A SECOND TIME FOR FOLLOW UP WORK. WE WILL HIRE THEM IN THE FUTURE, IF NEEDED.

I was quite pleased with them. They were friendly on the phone and were on time getting here. They called before they came. They did a nice job. I would consider hiring them again.

I was extremely happy with the service this company provided. Jose was a very professional and did a wonderful job. He gave information on my drains and tips on keeping them flowing. I would definitely hire this company again, only next time, I will call them FIRST!

We called Walter Anderson, who told us we would have to wait 2 days for an appointment! We told them we found them on Angies List, that the water was still leaking and that we had no hot water. It made no difference to the very cheerful person who answered the telephone. The hot water tank was leaking into our garage, where we have a fridge and two freezers. We were concerned about no hot water and a possible electrical short. Andersons were not... I would never try this company again. Be warned if you have an urgent need for repairs!

Megan was very helpful and courteous in setting up the appointment. The thirty minute lead time phone call was more like one hour. Jose and Tim were very professional and were careful about clean-up. They did caution me about possible scratches when augering the toilets and those scratches did appear. They were difficult to get rid of, so I would advise anyone not to have the toilets augered unless it was absolutely necessary. They were very pro-active and allowed me to view the real time camera while scoping and explained all that we were seeing. The snaking and augering of my interior drains seemed a little pricey, but the scoping and snaking of the common line seemed like a bargain.

They did outstanding work. They arrived on time, were tidy, explained all recommended improvements, and finished the work on time. They were courteous throughout. They are a very good company with which to do business.
