Comfort adviser Jimmy performed a thorough analysis to determine the appropriate furnace and a/c units for my 50-year-old home. The team of Shawn and Juan completed the attic installation in about 7 hours. They left my home tidy. I found that the high-speed fan made an unacceptable level of noise, so Jerrad promptly came out and reduced the fan speed. The noise was still objectionable, so Chris reduced the fan speed still further and that took care of the problem. Both service techs were patient and polite. A glitch occurred in the overall process. I had wanted to have a/c and furnace installed together, but my main electrical service panel needed upgrading for the a/c. The electrical contractor recommended by One Hour was uncommunicative, so I did not wish to do business with them. Since I needed to replace my furnace as soon as possible, I went ahead and did that separately. I will have a/c installed by One Hour after my electrical upgrade is completed.

After showing up for an estimate on a tankless water heater and recirculating system, the technician told me he would fax me a quote by the next day, but it never came. It took 3 calls to get the quote! When he came back to do the work, he told me that he had done the quote, but that his office hadnt faxed it. Whatever. The work was done in about an hour (I just did the pump). They criticized my existing plumbing a little too much for my taste (isnt it bad business to bad mouth someone elses business?), but he did replace a flex line at no extra cost to my water heater that he said was corroded, which was really nice. We couldnt really test the system until the water heater refilled and reheated, so they took off and he told me to call him. I have to say, Im very happy with the system. My hot water is getting to my back bathrooms within about 30 seconds and thats about four minutes faster than before. Im happy!

I got sucked in by a mailer, they guarantee that we will save at least $89 in the next six months on our heating bill. They seemed to do a thorough job and include a warranty and a service contract for a year. Seems like a good deal to me. We'll see about the savings guarantee in 6 months.

Excellent, these guys really care about doing a good job and making the customer happy. They were neat, on time, and fast.

I was verbally quoted $128 to complete the second portion of the job. When the plumber returned the he stated that the cost would be $182. Kind of funny that I got the numbers correct but the sequence wrong. The plumber also bumped up the final cost $40 to cover the coupon on Angies List (I was not able to print the coupon during the first visit). The plumber stated that he would apply on the return trip. I did not put up a fight since my tile guy was ready to get started. Work was good but that does not make up for their questionable pricing tactics. If you have time get a few quotes elsewhere before hiring this outfit.

Excellent service; technician arrived promptly, was courteous and thorough, and took the time to stop and explain a few specifics of our installation when asked. The tech followed standard Anderson practice of wearing protective boot covers in the house to keep carpets clean. Plus, an Angie's List coupon was used to save $50 on the total bill. A smooth service call from start to finish.

Chris arrived promptly. He was very polite. He assessed the problem and explained my options. He proceeded to repair the pipe, having the parts needed on his truck.

Excellent performance both technically and from a customer-service standpoint. But this firms prices are probably reported as high because they use flat-rate pricing. You are charged according to a schedule of ten flat rates corresponding to the particular work that is done. An equally reputable firm had done this identical job in another bathroom a few months before for a little more than $200, so Walter Andersons charge was about 80% higher. Although they waived their separately stated "service fee" pursuant to a promotion in our neighborhood, that $40 discount doesnt amount to much when so much of the labor and overhead cost is built into their flat rates. That is something to consider for those intrigued by the "free service call" discount coupon. You still pay for the labor cost that is hidden in the flat rate. Bottom line: If money is no object, they will ace your job. If cost is a factor, consider other options.

On time, very efficient and knowledgeable. Had a list of set prices for each job, which seemed very high to me. Gave us an estimate on installation of a new pressure gage and shut off valve of $500 on our water line into the house! We will get it done elsewhere.

Service at the company was courteous and the plumber arrived as arranged. The cost at $232 is extremely expensive, it should not have cost more than around $120. I will not use this company again as I feel that they overcharge. I found this company, whilst responsive and punctual, to be extremely expensive.

There was a problem with the bill. The company immediately made it right and refunded overpayment. They are eager to do the right thing and I will use them again, despite my earlier bad rating.

Great customer service from initial call to repipe team to drywaller! Always on time, responsive to our questions and requests, did quality work. The workmen were professional and personable. Because, of the initial experience we had with the Repipe Department, we felt comfortable with this company and trusted their knowledge and expertise. They worked to meet our availability and schedule. The cost of this work was much less than a quote we received from another company and what my next door neighbor paid for a repipe only the week before ours. I wouldnt hesitate to call Walter Anderson in the future.

They were on time and their prices were competitive. They were efficient and I would use them again if I needed to.

I understand it is common for AC/Heating service companies to sign you up to a maintenance agreement in order to come out quickly instead of prioritizing you to the bottom of the list. I hate the practice. This company does that. They also charge you in ''tiers'' for services. So if you want a fuse changed, it's Tier 1 and costs 124 bucks or so. Other than those practices, I like the technician they sent out. He was polite, considerate, nice, and went above and beyond what I expected. It only took them a day to get out to fix my AC.

Work was done on a Saturday so I was forced to pay extra $99 trip charge which was OK. The pipe being replaced was an unusual size so I had to pay extra for an emergency opening of the supply store plus threading the pipe, $200, which was OK. But then the bill totaled over $1500, part of which was $700+ to have the new pipe checked for leaks, which took maybe an hour. I was gouged and will avoid this company in the future.

They were very helpful in responding to all questions and providing understandable/thorough answers, which were appreciated.

The worker arrived on time, worked with my schedule, was very polite and humorous. The companys pamphlet spelled out the prices that would be charged for each piece. All work done comes with a varying guaranteed number of days that it will work.

Adam Harman, the service technician, performed excellent work, explained everything to me, and had a very pleasant attitude. I would certainly use Adam and Walter Anderson Plumbing, Heating, & Air in the future.

I did not hire the company because they charged for a service call.

The plumber, Adam, arrived promptly just an hour after my initial call. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and equipped with tools and supplies in his truck. He made some quick adjustments to the float in the toilet tank and provided a special clip for the refill line that was missng. In minutes the toilet was flushing fine. He then checked the water heater and adjusted the flame to produce hotter water. Next he took a look at the gas supply that I wanted to extend to the kitchen. After checking his code book he informed me that the extension I wanted would not be per code, since I would need 1" pipe to run the stove, fireplace and clothes dryer. It was not what I wanted to hear but it was accurate information. The best part was the bill. With the coupon from Angies List the entire job was free! Adam even gave me a $20 off coupon for next time.

The plumber was very courteous. He arrived on time and was clean and professional. He cleaned up after himself and even sprayed air freshener! Unfortunately,the experience was marred when I found out that other plumbers charge a LOT less for this service. I feel like I was swindled. My mother paid $75 for the same service! It only took the plumber about 35 minutes to do the job. Thats a rate of almost $1000 an hour.

The plumber was really great! He arrived promptly and was very concerned that I was pleased with the job, he carried ID that he insisted I examine before entering the premises. Was dressed very professionally.
