Mike and Matt came to my home on 4/4/11 and worked very hard to install this unit. It was no easy task since the area was very small. They dug a approx. a 5 ft hole to install two canisters and connected copper pipe to the inlet and outlet of my water lines. They were very cheerful and friendly, answering all my questions to my satisfaction. Mike it seems likes to sing I suggested he go on American Idol (tongue in cheek). Mike don't quit your day job. Just kidding. All in all it was a very good experience talking to these two young gentlemen. Going back a year or two I had a Tankless Water Heater installed by Brooks of Anderson Plumbing. It was installed on the outside of the house and I couldn't be more pleased with the installation and the heater. It has decreased the amount of gas used but not the water. I'll take this up with the water dept. This installation was long before I heard of Angies List. In closing I will say, it is nice to do business with an honest contractor. I have used a few contractors on Angies List and haven't been disappointed. Frederick

Great job by a supervisor who was on emergency calls all day. No big deal. Gave me the video, sat and explained everything he saw. Great service, great company, great people.

Everything is going well. They arrive promptly and do the work quickly and cleanly.

The tech replaced the filter and did some cleaning. She found a leak but I would not use this company again. I thought there would be more cleaning and in my opinion felt there was a big push for me to buy a new furnance when the second opinion felt it was not necessary and even had a hard time finding the leak.

I called Anderson Plumbing on Friday, 8 April 2011 because I believed I had a leak somewhere in the water main line between the street and my house. I already knew it wasn't the city's problem so it was up to me to fix it. My fear was that it was under the driveway, as I could see water coming up from the expansion joints in my driveway every morning. The people I spoke with at Anderson were honest and told me I could either have them come out and they would possibly wind up using one of their contractors, a leak detection company (I didn't even know such a thing existed) or I could call the leak detection company myself and save some money. I ended up calling the leak detection company directly and was able to locate an excavate the location where the leak was (thankfully not under my driveway) that day. I initially thought it would be something I could repair myself but in looking at the reason why it was leaking, a copper to PVC connection, I realized it was beyond the scope of my home repair ability and decided to call in the pro's. By now it was Saturday and I feared I would wind up paying overtime to have anyone come out. I called Anderson's expecting to get a voicemail but to my surprise they had normal operating hours on Saturday. Their only caveat was a $99 fee for Saturday service but it was WAIVED because I found them on Angie's List. The plumber, James, was at my home within 30 minutes and went over Anderson's pricing index upfront so there were no surprises at the end. I knew exactly what I would owe before the work even started. James got to work and quickly confirmed my suspicions about why repairing the leak in its existing configuration would eventually fail again. He then came up with a plan to change the configuration and after the poor man spent 3 1/2 hours under the sun working on it, he believed it to be fixed. We still had to go with a copper to PVC connection because of the way the irrigation system had been laid out in the past but this time James laid it out much closer to the surface so the weight of the earth pushing down on it wouldn't be as much of a factor as it had been before. James said it would be best to leave the water off as long as possible to make sure everything had time to set, so I agreed to leave it off until the next day. Within an hour or so of James leaving (by this time it was around 6pm and well-past the end of his working day), he called me and said he was thinking about my job after he got home and couldn't remember for sure whether he'd actually glued something or not. He thought there was an outside chance he'd just been dry-fitting it and never actually put the glue on it. He came out on his own time and verified and he had, indeed, done it right the first time. His coming back out after he'd already cleaned up and gone home scores HUGE points for professionalism in my book! The next day, I turned the water on and there was only the slightest detectable drip on the line. James called me shortly after I'd turned the water on to see how things were going. I told him about the drip and he said he would come out to look at it. This was a Sunday and the drip (once every 30-40 seconds) was way better than it had been so I told James to just wait until Monday. While I was at work on Monday, James came back out and worked on everything and eventually fixed everything. I'm sure all of Anderson's plumbers are as professional as James, but my future business with them will be strongly based upon them having James on their payroll. I'm now their loyal customer as long as he's there. It means a tremendous amount to me to have someone who's both trustworthy, honest, and dependable. James worked tirelessly to make sure my problem was fixed and I appreciate him and Anderson for the great job.

They are very nice. The office staff is fine. Their price is a bit high.

Katalina arrived on time and was very professional. She checked our furnace and explained her findings to us.

Purchased an Angie's list deal coupon for the heater tune-up and safety inspection for my heater (front house) and placed a separate service order to repair the non-operational heater in my rental unit (back house). The technician (Chris) arrived on-time and was very professional and knowledgeable He explained many of the steps that he was performing while he was doing the tune-up which I appreciated since I like to know what is being done to learn a bit. After tuning up and giving the green light to my front-house furnace, Chris quickly repaired the back house furnace by easily diagnosing a stuck component that was not working simply because the unit had not been operated in some time. A previous contractor told me I would need to spend $250 on a new circuit board, while Chris laughed that off and simply wiggled a few parts and got it running perfectly in about 5 minutes. I appreciated the honesty and quality of Chris' work and would highly recommend Anderson to my friends and co-workers. Great job.

I bought the package and they called to set up an appoinment. I was pleasantly surprised since the package said I was to call them. The technician arrived on time and was friendly. First he checked for gas leaks, I couldn't smell anything, but the equipment he had buzzed in a few places. He then showed me some exterior cracks (without even looking in the furnace), told me my heat exchanger was bad and suggested I shut off my furnace until it was replaced. We discussed options, set up an appointment for an estimate and he unplugged the furnace, shut the gas off, placed a red sticker on it and left. Since I have a carbon monoxide detector and didn't smell any gas, I reconnected everything while deciding what to do next. The next day they came out and gave me a quote for $9000 to replace the furnace and air. I then searched around for a second opinion. This guy pulled the cover off the heat exchanger, showed that the cracks were all in the cover, cleaned the furnace and told me it was fine, for now. Since the furnace is 26 years old who knows when it'll actually go, but I won't be callinh Anderson when it does...

The drain specialist was carefull to keep everything completely clean in the working.I was very pleased with the final result.

The representative, Chris, was extremely professional. Every aspect of the service was excellent including the follow up. I thought true customer service was dead until I had the pleasure to work with this company. Thanks for demonstrating outstanding service.

I've used them several times in the past and they've always been good. I would always say that they are the best plumbers I've ever had. In the recent past I went to them for two estimates that were absolutely outrageous. It was so out of the ballpark as to be laughable. It was very disappointing. The most recent one in early November was I needed to put some drag bars in the shower in the toilet and there were 4 drag bars so they quoted me at $500 a bar which is $2000. I went to another company he installed them and the whole thing was less then $250 and he did a perfect and beautiful job. Another thing that happened with them was I had an oval basin that chipped so I had them replace the thing. I went to Anderson first and got an estimate and it was $750 and I had three that needed to be replaced and it was another $2150. I had the same craftsman do the same job with an upgraded basin for $155. I totally lost faith in these people. I absolutely would not use them for plumbing again. They are not even competitive.

Tightened a loose screw on the furnace, and serviced the furnace - the only real problem appeared to be a loose screw that needed adjusting. Very professional service and punctual, but very high price -- finished in about 40-45 minutes I thought that I was overcharged and would not use them again, as felt this was unreasonably high for the work performed. The serviceman was very courteous and professional however.

The service was great. This is the third time I have used Anderson and each time they have been fantastic. The service man was very professional and extremely helpful.

The customer service was very good. Both companies were very responsive. The initial cost for the unit was much higher than I expected but when you have have a leaking water heater ( and a family who does a lot of laundry) your options are limited. I made the decision to be safe rather than sorry (by sticking with old platform). The Anderson technican was very professional. Same for the restoration company. Although I paid much more than that I had expected I felt that I had a positive experience. May have been able to get a better price for all the completed work but didn't have the luxury of time to shop around. Still, the out of pocket costs I incurred were completely unexpected. I don't fault Anderson for this. That's how it is when you have an emergency repair.

The initial response was good and the person responding was helpful but it seems that the company cannot handle these jobs in an emergency as they advertise. I called the office and talked to one person who kept giving me excuses but refused to allow me to explain my concerns. She was probably the rudest person I have talked to in a very long time. The rating is a C. The responding person did a good job and was professional but the office staff was horrible and if the rating was based on her it would have been an F.

The plumber, Fernando, arrived 15 minutes early and promptly went to work. He was efficient and professional. The price was in line with what was expected.

The technician was here about 5 minutes. I was glad to have the problem resolved. I was not happy to pay 230 for a 5 minute job that required no parts whatsoever.

Sales rep was competent, friendly and punctual. Provided many references from satisfied customers.

The service technician came to assess a problem I seemed to be having with my AC. I wasn't sure what was wrong but the A/C kept turning itself off. I had just installed the AC with Anderson back in July so it was still under warranty. The man who came out to look at the issue was extremely helpful, he went above and beyond replacing the part with a better one and also and giving me some additional features with my thermostat that were helpful. The problem was in my plumbing and not their A/C but they did not charge me a dime. I was extremely happy with their service and highly recommend them.

Everything checked out good and he gave some recommendations on additional servicing. He was very efficient and provided requested information on hardware and operation. The price was very good because it was an early season special.

We were very happy. The person who came out knew what she was doing. She took some time checking it and cleaning it. She didn?t cut any corners even thought it was a special price. This was the second time we have had them out.

They arrived on time and quoted the work we wanted done. No hidden charges, everything was up front and straight foward. Finished quickly and cleaned up all the work areas. Will definently bring them back for future plumbing projects.
