Anderson Plumbing Heating & Air

This is the second time we have used Anderson, the first was for a plumbing and this visit for A/C, and would not hesitate to call them again. Scheduling is efficient, they call to confirm the appointment time, the crew are friendly, well trained and take the time to explain what they are doing. Their equipment is well cared for and the inventory on the truck avoids a return trip.

Excellent. I had originally seen a discount on Angie's list stating 52 days left to get the deal. I needed to ask questions so was going to call - but a family emergency came up and I didn't get around to it until about 40 days later. For some unknown reason the deal was no longer available. Anderson offered a compromise - some discount but not as good as the original. It was still a pretty good deal so I accepted and appreciated their willingness to offer an intermediate discount. The technician (Victor) called 30 min before arriving so that I didn't have to sit home waiting. He arrived when expected and was very friendly, courteous, and professional. Victor wore shoe covers and kept everything clean. I was concerned about the anchoring of one of the toilets into the foundation based on my homeowner inspection report (which said it was not properly bolted in and being loose could cause leaking). I was dreading the possibility that it might be necessary to jackhammer into the foundation, pour cement, etc. - a potentially big, noisy, expensive job. Victor checked out the situation and advised that it was not necessary - there was some cement chipped away on the top surface of the floor that could easily be fixed by buying some inexpensive mortar (either I could go get some and he could do it, or do it myself later). This was great news and I appreciated his honesty. Victor did an excellent job on both toilets and left no debris or mess. I was even able to leave and have him call when close to finished so I could come back. I was very impressed with Anderson's level of service from the initial inquiry and other calls, to the actual job done, clean up and follow-up call. I also appreciated that Anderson sent a high quality, very professional, trustworthy technician who was a pleasure to interact with.

Full home plumbing inspection provided and items to replace or repair were recommended and tech explained why he made those recommendations and the priortiy of each item. There was no strong sale. I will probably use them when I get the repairs done.

I used their certificate on Angie's List to get a free service call so they came out that day. I guess they had a $45 fee waived just to come out to the house.

The first thing that I noticed was that their pricing was a bit more expensive than average. They are very professional and do a good job of explaining the problems. Also, when you have a problem or do not understand they do a good job of answering your questions. Overall, they provided a very quality service and seemed to be very helpful.

They knew what they are doing and they know us. The previous owner recommended them. They are fairly large in the area and so its easy to get an appointment. They were a good experience. They installed all new air conditioners and heat pumps. The last time they were out they put in new thermostats. Hopefully we won't have to use them very often since we have all new.

I had seen Anderson Plumbing advertising and have always been impressed with their high end look. Now I know nice trucks, uniforms, advertising=high prices, however in this situation, I needed help and help fast. After I called they came out after hours for $99 and gave me the quote. The technician (Fernando #1) gave me the price to start the repairs, it could have gone higher because we didnt know how much underground piping needed to be replaced. The meter is 200 feet from the house so I was nothing short of freaking out! He said someone would call me the next day after they got into work around 8AM. I was holding my breath and my phone rang at 8:11. Long story short, Anderson handled everything...permit and inspection, leak test....everything. If you are in a pinch and need PROS these are your guys. For price I put an "A" based on the value I recieved. THANK YOU ANDERSON!!!!!

We bought an Angie's List Deal for "Whole house plumbing inspection and Drain water heater." Hugo, the Anderson Plumbing service technician, was on-time, friendly, and professional. He inspected every water connection in the garage and house -- sinks, tubskithen , and then detailed estimates for all work that needs to be done. He showed me the signs of problems -- large amount of visible calcium buildup, signs of former leaks and a current leak, answered all my questions and gave good advice about which projects need immediate attention and which can be fixed at a more convenient time. He wrote and delivered the estimate before he left. I am glad I bought this Angie's list / Anderson Plumbing deal. Hugo provided what appears to be a thorough investigation, and ended up giving me a nice, mini-course in caring for my home.

I called Anderson Plumbing to make an appointment. They offered me an appointment the same day, but it wasn't convenient for me. I scheduled an appointment for the next day between 3pm-7pm so that I wouldn't have to take time off work. They called about 45 minutes ahead of time to let me know that the plumber was on his way. He arrived, fixed my toilet and answered all questions I had. I've used Anderson Plumbing before and have never been disappointed. They're professional and do a great job.

He checked absolutely everything. Everything was great except for the water heater. He gave me some information about water softer filter that you put in to make the water better. He gave me estimates for the water heater and everything else and they were extremely high.

Came out promptly. Assessed the problem and gave me a quote. The work was done that day and a credit wqs given because I had a thermostate replaced about 9 months before by them and it turned out the problem wasn't the thermostate, so they gave me a full credit for it.

Both units look nice and were cleaned well but of course we were told they both needed to be replaced. The Technician even went as far as to say we were in danger from carbon monoxide poisining. I recevied several calls afterwards trying to sell me a new system. It seemed like more of a sales pitch. Now I am getting letters from thier "collections" department saying we did not pay when in actuality we used the Angielist promotion to pay for this service. The coupon was provided to the technician but we are still getting letters. Really disappointed in the whole promotion.

I won't use these guys again. Expensive, tried to sell us even more "plumbing coverage" which I didn't understand; if they do good work why would I have to buy "coverage"? Took a very long time, then supposedly used a camera to look at our sewer line and found "roots" that need to be treated or ripped out, or something. I told them no. Had another company come in and scope it for a third of the cost. They found an absolutely clear sewer line and gave me a dvd to prove it. So, I am left to believe that Anderson made up the story of the roots in the line. My impression: They want my money. Period.

I got three estimates and they were all about the same amount of money. Anderson did the sheetrock and the painting of the sheetrock and gave me a twenty year warranty. With the other companies I would have had to find my own sheetrock and painter, plus it was only a one year warranty. I have recommended Anderson to three people and they've also been happy.

The experience was good. They were in and out. They cleaned up well. I was pleased with the service. He also provided an estimate and the price was accurate. They were also polite and professional.

The experience was excellent. They came out the first day and gave me an estimate as they thought it would be. The next day they returned to perform the work and further investigate the situation. They discovered it would be an easier task than what they originally thought because of the location of the piping. I asked them if they would bring down the cost and they did. I was very impressed with that. They were also on time and very professional.

The experience was excellent. It was actually the first female heating and ac technician I have ever had. She was very knowledgeable and professional. I was thrilled with her service. I have used them twice in the last month. They have done an excellent job. They are the best in San Diego from my experience. They are very responsive. I also used James for my plumbing work.

They are honest. They do not try to sell you what you do not need. They do a good job.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal Coupon for $89 for a 22 point furnace tune up and 22 point Air Conditioner tune up. At my request, the technician constructed and installed a better air filter than the pitiful one I was using. Prompt and efficient service. I now have a reliable company that I can use to service my furnace and A/C. I am so glad that I bought the coupon and would recommend this company without reservation.

Anderson Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning installed the vent upside down. They caused wall damage. The workers were okay. The first worker had to call someone to help him. Their price was about average.

He did outstanding work, was very professional and did above and beyond requirements by removing the damaged dry wall and wood frame that the old water heater was sitting on. He cleaned everything up as well.

The visit was successful. In fact, I have used Anderson for 3 years now. They always call after inspection before proceeding. By no means the most affordable service, but in time they will extend some courtesy.

The experience was fine. They were very good. I would call them again if I needed that kind of service. In terms of price, it was reasonable. I did not think it was high; it was fine. Their quality of work was good.
