I was able to use my coupon from Angie's list for the service call. That was great. Leo did a great job and had a few suggestions for me. My water pressure checked out ok and we also check some small water heaters in each bathroom. He had some suggestions about the reverse osmosis system especially when the home is on a septic system. He was very professional.

This review of my recent experience with Anderson Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning is so positive you might be tempted to think I'm a shill. I'm not. I'm just a very satisfied customer. Details follow, but the short version is that we would recommend Anderson to others with absolutely no hesitation. The company is exemplary both for the quality of their product and their truly outstanding customer service. In August we had a breakdown of our home a/c system. I hired a company (ASI) to do a thorough energy audit in the course of which we determined that we needed a whole new a/c system plus additional insulation in our attic. I solicited bids from three companies. I invited Anderson to bid based not only on its generally good reviews here but also because I noticed that the owner, Mary Jean Anderson, personally responded at length to any negative criticism--and not with knee-jerk defensiveness. I also looked into her company's philanthropic activities, which are extensive; I like to know that the companies I do business with are giving back to the community. The Anderson bid was not the lowest initially but, after some negotiating, they basically met the bid by another company. I was very impressed by the sales person, Dick Crandall, who also was in charge of the project itself once we decided to go with Anderson. The project started very quickly, the workmen were prompt and courteous and kept our home remarkably clean given how much work had to be done to remove the old system and install the new one. The team putting the ceiling insulation in discovered a problem with the new ducting, I called Dick, and within hours the problem was fixed. We are very pleased with the system as a whole and especially pleased with our dealings with the company throughout.

Work was very well done. New toilets are working excellently. This was a big deal that included a pipe inspection. They were able to determine the source of a long-standing problem and explain what should be done to fix it.

He first told us that is was just a pipe that had come loose and needed to be glued back on. Called a 'buddy' to come out and give us a price to get rid of the water. They wanted $1,100. ! aww NO WAY (we bought a $40 fan and the water was gone in a few days) Then he said he'd have to cut and resection the pipe and that would cost $900.... aww NO WAY red flag he is changing his mind on what is wrong...hum... becoming suspect now... He shaved off $200. for a 'tight space' (aren't all crawl spaces tight?) we said no $700 too much so he found a way to shave off a hundred dollars bringing down to $600. To glue an already existing pipe? NO WAY Someone is paying for those expensive commercials and its obviously the consumer... I called another company and the problem was fixed for $250.

They were excellent. They were very nice and helpful. They gave me a couple of choices and prices for the job, which made it cheaper. They also sent me a follow up card. They have great ratings on Angie’s List and on the BBB.

There were a couple of hiccups for this install. Two of my downstairs vents were ducted okay but did not connect to the zoning as these vents did not go up into the attic. After this was found, they ended up having to cut a hole in my laundry room ceiling to be able to connect them to the system. But now I have a functioning system.

Since this was over two years ago, I can only recall the visit was fine, and I was happy the service person quickly found and repaired the problem. The total cost of $49.00 was fair.

Technician was courteous and very helpful. He fixed our primary issue within minutes and went on to evaluate and provide recommendations for what should be done to fix an airflow and cooling issue. I really like that he went the extra mile to answer my "why" questions patiently and in some detail.

I have used them three times. It has always gone well. They are prompt and have arrived early in their service window. They seem to be a honest company and do not push unnecessary services on you.

The experience was fine. They were punctual and professional. They came up with other services that we needed done but we did not move forward with the services outside of the contract.

I was not able to use the deal because I am a renter and I could not get a response from the owner of my house to approve the services. They were good about understanding the situation and accommodating my needs. They refunded me the amount for the deal.

They did a good job. We were satisfied with the service. We had an issue with one toilet but they came back the next day and fixed the issue. They were here on time. The price was good, service was professional and they had excellent follow up.

I was in the market for a new furnace and air conditioner so I contacted Anderson HVAC. A young man (I'm in my 60s) came and oddly insisted on wearing cloth booties albeit my house was striped to the subfloor for renovation. The first thing I told him was I thought I needed more vents (because of several major changes as part of the renovation). He QUICKLY moved his head around and said, ?no, you?re fine.? I showed him the furnace in the garage which is enclosed with the water heater in a pegboard container I built. He looked up a Maytag (I didn?t even know they made HVAC units) equivalent, but said it was an inch too big, to which he seemed surprised when I said, I could modify the enclosure. He noted that the unit was close to his age, but could not calculate the few years difference in his head. He then gave me some rather steep price quotes on a couple possibilities and strongly suggested I agree at that moment as he could take a whopping $100 off. Are you kidding? To take this full circle, at the recommendation of a colleague, I had a consult from ASI. As soon as their representative walked into my home, he immediately said, ?you don?t have enough vents.? This was without a word from me. He took considerable measurements and calculations and I said, ?you got the job!? The difference between an amateur and a professional, period! OBTW, ASI quoted $600 to replace my existing ducting, but agreed when I said I?d accept their quote if they included the ducting at no additional cost.

I don't remember having any issues. I think they did exactly what they said they were going to do.

Said that the heater had gone out (water heater was 30 years old). Then tried to get me to have them install one that day for $1800 which I refused and was able to have one installed for $1000.00. Felt like it was 'get me over a barrel and then stick me good' with the price.

Service went very well, and the technician was very through in his checks of the system and explanation of everything he was doing.

They came on time like they said. They called to let me know they're on their way. The technician who was here was very clean and presentable and I was comfortable having her in my home. She just explained to us what she did and what needed to be done and on her merry way.

Service technician quoted repair work costing hundreds of dollars. Decided to get a second opinion. Second company was surprised not only by fact work wasnt needed but also at the price quoted by anderson tech to do the work. Only one small repair was needed which the second technician did at no cost. Frightening to think I might have paid well over $500 for unnecessary work!

Timely, professional, and excellent work. Their "Master Plumber" Mr. Chavez is an excellent ambassador for the company.

Plumbing tech was prompt and professional and the inspection went well. After the inspection he provided a "standard" estimate price sheet on needed repairs (among needed repairs: cartridge valve replacement $390.00; standard water pressure regulator $473.00; 40 gallon hot water heater $613.00; replace 2 stainless steel washing machine hoses $99.00/each). The estimate included parts and labor totalling $1,674.00. After some research and calls, I found the hot water heater to be a fair price to Anderson's credit, however the remaining items were excessive and so I decided not to go with this plumbing contractor.

Very smoothly. They arrived when scheduled, were responsive to my needs, and did a clean job. They are on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. They didn't ask for money up-front, nor did they ask for payment as we proceeded. They were OK with me paying when the job was completed satisfactorily.

The service technician came at the appointed time having given us a call first to indicate he was heading to us. Then, having put on shoe covers to not track outside or other dirt sorces into the house, he followed me to the shower in question and examed it for problems. Finding no leakage from the plumbing he shared with me my options on how to dry out the dampness in the shower wall and left.
