Anderson Plumbing Heating & Air

A tech came out and walked me through the flaws in my heating and A/C and recommended re-ducting, adding more returns, and replacing the 17 year old equipment. The started work the following Monday and completed it by the next Friday. They kept the house very clean while working and were very professional. The new system works very well and we are very happy with it.

They are outstanding. They do our regular maintenance. They did the heating and plumbing and the re piping of the house. We are very pleased with their work and their pricing compared to the other bids that we got. It's a maintenance thing that you pay once a year. They come out once a year to inspect your plumbing, heating and air. I think it's like $269 a year.

I used Angie's List and I got a deal. He came out the same day I called. He was here about an hour to an hour and a half. My first impression of him was fine, he was very professional.

The scope of work that was done, they said it would be done. I didn't realize when they were planning out the scope of work, I have a bare pipe, with the foam wrapped around it, running across my closet. It goes from my heater to my outside air conditioning unit. It a very efficient job. There is no cover on it and I didn't realize it would look the way it looks. They left a bare hole in the wall, we had to call them back to fill in. I've had no trouble with it, it hasn't broken down.

The plumber who came out was nice. I described my situation on how I needed a plumber to disconnect and reconnect my sink before and after new counters were installed. They estimated $950, $350 more than what home depot was charging. Worst of all I had to pay $40 for the estimate. Called a different plumber from Angies List with the same reputation and got a quote $600 cheaper and a $0 estimate.... seems like Anderson is a ripoff.

First toilet installed had a hairline crack in the tank causing it to leak overnight. The plumber returned early the next day to install another one. No problems now.

They did a great job and we haven't had any problems. They were the second plumbers we had out and haven't had issues. The plumber was awkward as far as his people skills but I give his work an A. The price was quite fair. He called but was a little later then expected.

Very well. Showed up on time worked well. Had everything done on time. Explained everything. Took away old parts. Stoped to explain what they were doing whenever I checked in. Water heater and toilets done in 1 day the heater and air took 1 1/2 days as had to make adjustments to pass current codes. Explained warranty and that it extended if sell the house. were not pushy gave me options. pulled all permits and explained the city would come to verify the work on heater & air. left place clean. Were very friendly. The office called first to give the name of the tech and what time they would show up.

Very knowledgeable and professional. Very willing to answer questions, even questions beyond the job at hand. Filed all permit paperwork the same day. Cleaned up work area when finished, to the point where it was cleaner than when he started the work.

My repair guy was prompt and polite. He wore the plastic booties, and got right down to the work. He mentioned that since my cleanout was not under the sink, they usually charge more, but he didn't raise the price. It was quick and efficient, cleaned up nicely.

Give them a B. I never give As. As for price, it was a good grade, give them a B. Quality was fine. They just did what they had to do and left. They couldn't do any better. Responsiveness is very good. Give them an A. I don't normally do that but I'll give it to them. They came, they did what they had to do and left. I have nothing else to say.

The technician they sent out did an excellent job. My big complaint with Anderson is that the pricing is pretty outrageous.

I was very happy, they worked with me very well and hired all the people to take care of the job. They did the same when my mother needed help too. I will never use any other plumber ever again.

The were professional, courteous, punctual, and knowledgeable. Darn good folk.

Brian and Sixto were a great team, along with everyone we dealt with at Anderson. Ours was not an easy job and we appreciate all the hard work and effort that went into installing our new heating and AC unit. We would highly recommend their company.

They wanted to charge me $1,918 to replace and set a new toilet. I refused to pay them because they were here for 2 1/2 hours. There was two of them. One was the plumber and one was the apprentice, the guy who came along and watched, he didn't do anything. So when I got the charge and saw how long they took, I refused to pay it. I said I am willing to pay you for the time that they were here, they were here for two hours and there was two of them so i'll pay you $100/hr for two of them for two hours, that's $400 & if you want me to send you a check for $400 I'll do that otherwise I'll see you in court. The plumber was professional and he did a good job, it was just the price that was outrageous. I would tell anyone to go somewhere else. They finished the job. They came out and they saw the problem, they went away to pick up some parts and then they came back. They finished the job on the same day and it was okay, they did a good job. The work was fine but the price was outrageous and I wouldn't hire them again.

Price was typical. I would use them again in the future.

Service went well and inspection was completed.

The service was excellent. The technician, Bob, fixed the issue in less than a minute. He knew exactly what to look for. The service call fee covered the cost of the fix. The service call fee is waived for Angie's list customers.

Tech arrived on time. Anderson has a tiered pricing system. There is a huge amount of slack so the Tech tried to talk me up to a level two even though this was a very simple job ( getting to the bolt that secures the faucet does require lying one's back so this was the rational for the bump up).. I didn't like the price since the $42 call charge was on top of the ~$325. Since I needed to get the work done I accepted and then the Tech spent 30 minutes preparing a estimate which was basically a hard sell on a service contact. After the work started the Tech constantly threatened to increase the price because of this or that. Tech did a serviceable job of the installation. My impression is that Anderson is the highest cost provider so if you have emergency they will have techs available. But be prepared for a constant bait and switch sales pitch and resist any complaints that they will need to go to a higher pricing tier after the work has started.

Fast response on a Saturday. Excellent work. Higher price because it was an emergency on a weekend.

The Anderson guys were professional, efficient, and very competent. They went above and beyond to make sure everything fit correctly, built a service platform in the attic, redid the venting and drainage, and made the ductwork cleaner and more efficient. Basically, they remade the entire HVAC system, something that was not done correctly the first time. I've already noticed a dramatic difference in my energy usage after this total replacement. They made sure to clean up each day and they were communicative about any issues that arose. I highly recommend Anderson. I am already considering hiring them again for future plumbing work that needs to be done.
