If you have a Carrier system these guys are the experts. They are very knowledgeable and know what they are doing. Regarding their pricing I am not sure. I scheduled a regular tune up for $79.99 which had the filter included. However since my unit needed air purifier they charged me $115 more with no credit for the filter they didn't install. During the visit I enquires about the wireless thermostat from carrier, which the technician quoted at $620 and said it was an easy install in 10 mins and included in the price. When I referred to the Angie's list $30 coupon he didn't honor it stating he wasn't charging for labor. Things like this just don't leave a good taste as its a bait and switch. Other than this they are an A.

George bid the job. He gave me options of various sizes of air conditioners, the most expensive the cheaper my monthly electric bill. Unfortunately the temperature has been mild since I had it installed, so no real chance to test it out. I did use the heater one morning and it worked fine and was very quiet. Installation took two days. The first day five young guys showed up on time and immediately went to work taking out the old heater and installing the compressor outside and the heater/ac in the attic. They were fast and professional. They all spoke excellent English. The second day two of the guys were there to finish the job and test it out. George came by a week later to inspect and answer any questions. Others have commented to me that the bill was a little high. I think I went for top of the line and these guys were cheaper than the quote I got from the company that is always advertising on local TV (" *** those white gloved guys") Also if something goes wrong I want to deal with a company with enough trucks on the street that they can get to me within 24 hours, not a week later in very hot or very cold weather.

They did a great job getting the work done in a day and a half. Were there at 7:45 which was 15min early. I really like that. The only issue was I had financed some and wrote a check for some, they didn't have it written out for me so I had to it and the guy that was collecting the money was on the phone and said I don't know how much when I asked the amount I needed to put on the check. I felt rushed trying to get the check written and I got a call that I messed up the check. They were polite about it and I got them a new check in the mail.

I would use them again in a heartbeat. It was a big project because I moved the heater from the first floor up into the attic. I would use them for anything that related to heating or air conditioning problems. They are the best. The price was very reasonable. I had gotten quotes from a couple of other companies and one of the companies wouldn't even do the transition from the first floor to the attic. The estimated price he gave saying he wasn't sure it could even be done was twice as much as AirMaxx. So, when AirMaxx gave me the price, I knew it was a good price. They were going up 2 flights of stairs, from the first floor up to the second floor and from the second floor up into the attic. That's a lot of up and down. They were extremely quiet. They cleaned up after themselves, unbelievable and it actually took them a day and a half to do it. I expected it to drag on for a week or two weeks, but no, day and a half.

Airmaxx was awesome from beginning to end. Alex came out to give us an estimate in the summer that was in-line with three other estimates that we had, slightly less. Six months later I called him and he retrieved and honored the original estimate. In the middle of extreme weather and cold-snap he scheduled installation within 1 day of my call. The guys came out, on time, courteous and professional. They did all installation in a very timely fashion, 1.5 days of work. After the first day of work there was not a trace that they had been in the house cutting drywall and in and out of the attic all day. They left the house spotless. This was the third company to come over to evaluate our furnace. The other two companies' servicemen did not seem to know what was going on. We paid about $400 to the two different companies to service our furnace but the intermittent problem persisted and they never seemed to know what the problem was. Alex from Airmaxx did a quick evaluation and was able to pinpoint the problem immediately and repaired it immediately. He showed us how the circuit board was faulty and demonstrated the problem to us. All you had to do was slightly move it and the system would shut down so any small amt of shaking when the furnace starts up was shutting it down. We risked paying many thousands of dollars on a new furnace. He saved us a great deal of money and had the part in his truck. Very professional, easy to communicate with and exremely lnice and competent!

The diagnosis and installation of my furnace ignitor was complete and done to my satisfaction within 30 minutes.

Our furnace broke on the coldest day of the year. Other companies we called were not able to come for 4-10 days. And they quoted a much higher service charge. We got an appointment for later the same day. Alex showed up when he said he would and was very professional. It ended up that the motor for the blower was broken. Air Maxx representative Alex Glozman arrived timely to the appointment and was very respectful of my home by covering his work shoes before walking on my newly cleaned wood floor. Upon his arrival, I related to Alex Glozman that my 16 year old air conditioner does not work and that it may need to be replaced. Alex Glozman offered and asked if he could take a look at my A/C and upon opening the cover he (Alex Glozman) immediately realized and diagnosed what was broken. Alex Glozman gave me a quote on how much it would cost to replace and repair the A/C capacitator versus replacing the whole unit. Of course, I chose the latter of just repairing and replacing the necessary part to save on expenses. I was so elated that as soon as he replaced the broken part, the A/C started working again. I am very thankful to AirMaxx for sending Alex Glozman to my home and because he was an honest mechanic who took the time to diagnose, explain the option and repaired my A/C at a cost less than I originally thought of replacing the whole unit. Thank you AirMaxx and Alex Glozman for a job well done.

Airmaxx installed our Carrier multizone system 5 years ago, so we called them for service. For annual service we requested replacement of the central filter and check the working fluid level, as the system had not been cooling effectively. We had to special order the Puron filter which required several weeks to obtain. When the serviceman came, he was on time, but seemed rushed. He replaced the filter, but neglected to check the working fluid level. We had to request another service since the system was still not working. The second man came, checked the system, and had it working in 5 minutes.

This went OK, but was very expensive for the work performed in our judgement.

First Gene came to the house and gave us his presentation which when he left we knew more about airconditioners and furnaces than we probably needed to know. He definitely knows his business and how to present it so we would understand. In all the research I did on airconditioners and furnaces, which ended up being the opinions of people like me, the constant item that kept coming up was how important it was to have a good installer. We felt with Gene's knowledge the installation would be excellent and the crew was great and knew what they were doing. When I commented on their ability to get it done so fast, they said that they do this 6 days a week so have lots of experience. The crew of 3 arrived on time at approximately 8 AM and the job was completed by 3 PM. Some of the other companies said it could take up to 2 to 3 days to do the installation. We also had new duct work put in. When they finished they cleaned everything up so well that you would never know that they had been here. They had some one else pick up all the old ducting while they were installing the new. We were very pleased with their work and would recommend them.

Airmaxx was able to get a repairman to us within 24 hours. The AC repairman arrived before the time given to us and went to work immediately. He assessed the problem right away and had the part in his truck to repair the unit. He explained the whole process and told us about the particular AC unit we had. We had cool air in no time. I would highly recommend this company and would definitely use them again. We are very happy with their service!

My a/c unit stopped cooling the home. I had an appointment with another company, but they were not able to come out for over a week! I contacted them at 9pm, they emailed me back at 10pm to tell me they could be there the next day at noon! They determined I needed my freon recharged and checked to see if there were any leaks. Very professional and very fast service. Couldn't be happier. I also have a 1 year warranty on the coolant. :)

Gene called prior to arrival and arrived at scheduled time. My air conditioning unit had not been working, it is about 6-7 years old. . Gene quickly diagnosed the problem. The condenser was "weak". He installed a "kick starter" to get the condenser started and it is working again. He provided a fixed price and then did a excellent job. Thank you.

George was our repairman for our service call. I am so impressed by his extraordinary level or professionalism , determination and hard work. I would recommend AirMaxx to all my family and friends. I can't say enough about AirMaxx and George.

They delivered exactly what they quoted, and did the same for a neighbor who was impressed with our experience. We did call a month or two later about one minor noise from the gable fan, and they came to correct the issue without any push back or charges to us. They are trustworthy, professional, and exactly what you want when hiring a contractor.

Asked for estimate and received a prompt reply. They were very professional and through. Work was completed on time and with extreme attention to detail. Replaced 20 year old furnace, installed new air conditioning unit, replaced all registers and all new duct work in attic. Very pleased and even provided permit from city.

Thoroughly evaluate the A/C performance. Indicated that the 16 year old system was nearing the end of its expected life and was much less efficient than modern systems, but that it was currently performing satisfactorily.

Gene arrived promptly. My nest thermostat showed there was no 24 volt power. Gene quickly checked the 24 volt transformer and determined that it was broken. He provided a firm fixed price and then did a excellent job installing the new transformer. Very pleased with his work.

Alex Glozman from Airmaxx was at my home with in 2 hrs from my initial call! He fixed the problem in 5min and than brought to my attention how my air filter needed to be cleaned. I never knew there was a filter, and when he took it out, there was a heavy layer of dirt on it. I'm very pleased with the service and would highly recommend Airmaxx to anyone.

Went smoothly and the technician was efficient and friendly.

I got a new furnace. They installed that in November and 2 technicians came out to do that. it didn’t take very long and it only took them a couple of hours. They were on time and they didn’t leave a mess behind. They were efficient and explained the furnace to me. Yuri was their sales guy and he gave me a discount for furnace. Their pricing was reasonable compared to some other quotes I got too.

Jason arrived on time, done under an hour. Thermostat replaced under warranty.
