+ -1 moreI called in the afternoon on Monday. They came out Tuesday morning. We've used them before and will use them again, when we need their services.
Description of Work: Our Maytag refrigerator/freezer stopped cooling, made noise when it tried to run. The compressor was not running and the coils were dirty. They installed a new start relay and cleaned the coils. The compressor is now running.

+ -1 moreOur freezer section stopped working. Easy to set up an appointment and was available during the holidays. No service charge or trip charge. Mike came out on time, explained in detail the problems, replaced the fan and adjusted the freezer door. He was efficient, pleasant and honest. Do not know why he would want to be removed from Angie's List. We will definitely use him again.
Description of Work: Serviced our Sub Zero Refrigerator.

+ -1 moreGE Profile Refrigerator failed. Appliance was approximately 10 years old. Mike was able to arrive within 5 hours of my call. Mike quickly assessed the problem, explained it in detail, and made the repair. All done within an hour. Refrigerator is working perfectly. Excellent experience.
Description of Work: GE Profile Refrigerator failed. Mike replaced original circuit boards with newer boards designed to correct the problem.

+ -1 moreHe was very nice and would not let me pay him. I would use him again and appreciated his honestly. Of course if I have any other appliance needs I will be calling this company.
Description of Work: This company came out and looked at our dishwasher. He took everything apart just to tell us we needed a plumber. He put everything back nicely when he was finished.

+ -1 moreI have had horrible experiences with repairs to my appliances in the past, from outrageous prices to not showing up, to the service man being rude to me. Well, I gave up and was afraid of what would happen this time I had a service man come to my door, and was Shocked that I was now getting my faith in service men back, by the Unbelievable Promptness, Affordability of the repair, the cleanliness of the service man, his great knowledge of what he does, and his taking the time to explain the problem and repair to me, including me in the whole process, as I am the one paying the bill! There simply is no better service man on earth, than this knowledgeable service man, with great manners and very easy to talk to service man from ABA Appliance! Any repair I ever have done in the future will be done by ABA Appliance and Michael Riley. He didn't even charge a Service Call charge, and said the Service Call was FREE, unheard of these days! No Better Company than ABA Appliance! Thank you Michael
Description of Work: Refrigerator was not cooling and Michael came out within 1 hour and diagnosed the problem, gave me a very reasonable written estimate, explained the exact problem thoroughly so I understood what the problem was and what it would take to fix it, and if it was worth repairing. Michael fixed the problem with my refrigerator when I approved his estimate, quickly and was very careful during his repair not to damage my flooring. I was extremely Impressed with his Professionalism, his great knowledge, his Prompt arrival as he stated he would be here at a certain time and was here when he said he would be, his attention to not damaging my flooring, and showing he cared about my home as it was his own. I have never had such excellent service ever, and would Highly Recommend Michael and ABA Appliance to Everyone in the San Diego area for any of their Major appliance repair needs. There simply is no one better in my mind, and as honest and affordable! Thank you Michael & ABA Appliance!
