Description of Work: the plumbing work was fine. the basic problem is communication between office and both customer and staff. |the first call we gave specific directions to address of service(condo complex). these were not passed to plumber. My husband stood at entrance waiting for 1/2 hour beyond estimated travel time (first communication disconnect - He was never given our origional nor was he supplied with a gps) |He assesed the problem as bathtub needing new drainage and groutwork that was not their work. he said the grout caulk was entire problem for shower. He said he didn't have the parts to fix bathtub he would submit his report and the office would call with time to com back to fix. we waited 4 days and called office to find new appointment They had filed the plumbers report was missed . they made appointment for next day (good) but another communication problem. Mean time my husband fixed the sealing/caulking issues and discovered the cause of the leaking in the shower(plumber missed) plumber came to appointment on time fixed both problems. | |The bill came. We were told (origonal call )that the charge would be $100. per hour. there was a short description of work (replaced parts etc,)and the total number below no hours worked no parts charged. My husband called and talked to office again and was told that there was a standard charge for those jobs. Another miscommunication. | |The job was competantly done and the plumber was professional and the price was ok but, there were unnecessary frustrations with the communications issues.

Description of Work: Got a call from my wife telling me the kitchen was flooded. Told her to call A to Z as we had used them before and was happy with the work they performed. They came out and noted the problem was the garbage disposal. They responded quickly and the garbage disposal was replaced in a couple hours.

+ 0 moreThey seem to be okay. It's been awhile because we haven't had a plumbing issue for a couple years. They seem to be prompt, friendly, and competent. Their prices are competitive with other people's services. I'd rather them be a lot cheaper, but they did the job. You either do the job or you don't. They came out when we called, and they didn't curse or anything. We would use them again.
Description of Work: We use A to Z Plumbing sometimes. We used to get stopped up drains unstopped, and when the stoppage went all the way out to the street one time they dealt with it out there.

+ -1 moreExcellent in every way! Lucky to have Ray, Jr. and Scott come the same day that I called for an appointment. Although the appointment was set for 1-4pm, the company effectively reduced the interval in telling me it would be at the early end. They called when they were on the way and arrived at 1 pm. Great beginning! Really knowledgeable, Ray had the multipart fixture apart in seconds with the efficiency of an expert, and he completed the job in an hour.(He installed the parts that Grohe had sent me.) Also, dry and clean is how they left the shower area. Both Ray, Jr. and Scott were delightful,friendly,and professional. I had hesitated to hire them, because of the $95/hr. charge plus $15 travel/truck fee, even though these are the going rates. However, I am so happy with the value I received. I have paid less, which sometimes works out but often the job is not well done or there are hassles in getting it done, because of inexperience, inexpertise on the part of the plumber. Love this company: from the first phone contact to the completion of the job!
Description of Work: Services:(to stop dripping shower)installation of volume control stems for Grohe master shower valve, cleaning and lubrication of thermostatic portion of valve, and setting of temperature for shower valve.

+ -1 moreMartin and Omar arrived at the time promised. I met them at the rental property because the home office gave me call twenty minutes before the estimated time of arrival. This is very helpful when you don't live at the service address. I have used A to Z Plumbing for the last six years. The plumbers are always in uniform with the name embroidered on a patch. There is never an answering machine. Janet and Lynn always answer the phone.
Description of Work: They replaced a leaking pipe in the garage, and a stem valve in the shower.

I would definitely use this company again. Although I don't think the company's rates are a bargain, based on previous plumbers I have used, the rates are certainly competitive.
