Description of Work: I had a drain pipe from my kitchen sink completely corrode away under the house. All water from the sink (disposal and dishwasher, as well) drained directly onto the ground under the kitchen. It was the smell of mildew that finally tipped me off....after, undoubtedly, many weeks of water accumulation. I called A to Z based on reviews on Angie's List and was delighted with the results. They came out, exactly at the time scheduled, assessed the problem, repaired the breach, and were gone in maybe an hour and a half.

A to Z repaired faucets in two showers and fixed leakes in two bathrooms. They worked with a videoscope specialist to locate blockages in an old waste pipe that runs from the house to the street. They then gave us a reasonable bid on work to replace pipes and toilets in the house. was Their people were professional and their price was fair. Thanks to them we're on our way to having plumbing that works.

Description of Work: Removed natural gas connection to outside BBQ and plugged each end of line. Removed water hose bib from one location and placed it in another. Removed sanitary sewer connection that had been for BBQ sink and plugged it so that it could be a secondary cleanout.

Description of Work: Installation of water cut-off valve for washing machine, replacement of laundry hoses, adjustment of water pressure, repair of water faucets and toilets, examination of broken steam shower, draining of water heater, etc. for an older home that we had just purchased.

Description of Work: We had the main valve leaking inside the garage and needed to be replaced because it was corroded, 24 year old house and never replaced before. Martin, the service man, gave me an estimate of the repair and why the valve should be replaced. The valve was replaced and it should be good for a long time now. Martin was very professional and a very respectful person. The job was done in about 2 and a half hour and he left everything clean. I would recommend this company that is family owned.

Description of Work: I had a regulator replaced. Plumber checked pressure and it was 150psi. He installed a Wilkins DUC regulator and set the pressure at 75psi.

Description of Work: Remove and replace sanitary drain line in my kitchen. The original cast iron drain pipe was cast into the raised foundation stem wall. The job was fairly difficult, and other "repair plumbers" had declined the job because it was beyond the scope of their abilities. A to Z took care of the job in half a day. They crawled under the house, and removed the old corroded 56 year old cast iron pipe. They replaced it with new ABS pipe, and installed a clean out out the exterior stucco wall. They went into the under sink cabinet and re plumbed the sink and garbage disposer, and connected to the drain vent. All work was completed in a professional manner. I asked them for an estimate on the repair of a leaky vanity faucet in the upstairs bathroom. The plumber went out to his truck, brought in the proper part and, did the repair for NO CHARGE!! The real surprise came about a month later. We had replaced the kitchen counter tops and garbage disposer with all new. The new disposer was at a different drain outlet height that the old one. I called A to Z for an estimate to re work the pipes to fit the new disposer. They came out an looked at the job, and said that the pipes needed to be re done. They tore out the old fittings and re measures and replaced them with new FOR NO CHARGE!! They did the work for no charge as a professional courtesy considering they had recently done work on the drain. They stand behind their work. They want to provide good service to keep their customers happy! A to Z would have been within theit rights to charge me, but instead they came out right away and took care of the problem free of charge. I highly recommend A to Z plumbing. They are a small family owned business, (sister answers the phone, Mom does the books), who want to keep their customers by treating them right. The next time I need a plumber, I will call A to Z.

Description of Work: Martin came out from A to Z plumbing; he cleaned out a stopped up kitchen drain, replaced a "widget" in my bathroom sink, and fixed my kitchen sink sprayer. He was on time, very polite, professional, told me what he was doing and why. He put booties over his shoes when coming in to my condo and was neat, and cleaned up after himself. I would definitely use this company again.
