Horrible service. Overpriced and not truthful on sq footage. Charged $2 sq foot to steam vinyl floor. All other services charge .47 to $.53.

I had a rug that was hand hooked in Hong Kong. and I had some women spill a whole glass of white wine on the white part. My son, who was there at the time blotted it and it went pretty well The mark came back. I sent it to another cleaner, that I know had a good reputation. It came back again.I sent it to Ambassador cleaning. He washed it twice, before he gave it back. The green in the border design bled onto the white and the back was broken down. It was misshapen. I complained and I was very angry. He sent it to a cleaning company that deals with restorations called Sequoia Carpet Rug and Upholstery Cleaners. It took a long time, but they were able to get the green out of the white and they did a wonderful job. He paid for the restoration at Sequoia Carpet Rug and Upholstery Cleaners. They are diamond certified. I had to have a new backing put on it. After four months, I finally got the rug back. It is back to pretty good shape. He made all these promises. I would not recommend them, if you have an important rug. They were wonderful. They asked me to come down and look at the carpet and they showed me a sample of what they were going to do with the carpet. When they finished, they had me come down and look at the carpet. I would give them top marks.

They are very good and fairly priced. They do not use any chemicals, and the rugs are cleaned very well.

One of the people on the front desk suggested the special dog cleaner. I said OK - it costs more but I thought they would make the rug cleaning better than just the regular cleaning. It was returned to me absolutely ruined. I asked to talk with the owner who said I was warned that the rug could be damaged by this special cleaning. I told I was NOT informed as I would not have it done. He stood there and told me his employees always warned customers of the danger of it. I was angry that this man was insisting something happened that he was not there to witness the conversation. He made no effort to take responsibility for this. The co. Started by his father who was a decent man the son was not prepared to carry his father's legacy. I will never go back to Sequoia to have any rugs cleaned.

I called to see if they picked up rugs, which they did. I did not use this service as it was expensive, although I did not recall exactly what the price for this pick up service was (sorry). However, in relation to what I needed done, it was too much. I delivered them to Sequoia myself which was no problem because the rugs were a manageable size. Had it been a larger rug, then the pick up service may have been worth it. They noticed one rug had some bleed marks where I had previously cleaned a pet stain by hand. From this they determined the rug should be hand washed which was more expensive. I appreciated their attention to this detail, and felt the additional price for hand washing was worth it rather than have a rug ruined. They used their normal process to wash the wool rug. Both rugs came out beautifully. I would recommend them as I believe the folks at Sequoia know rugs and know their business. I am happy with the outcome.

I brought in the rug and one of their workman inspected it, noting where the areas to be cleaned were. This is done in front of you so you get to see what they will be cleaning. Then they quickly gave an estimate. The turnaround is a week (sometimes less).

They did a good job. I thought that their price was a little expensive. I had done some research and so their price seemed to be on par with other companies. Rug cleaning is sort of expensive. I was happy with the job they did. They were prompt. I would use their services in the future too.

I took the area rug (5x8) to the shop which is only a few miles from home. THey charge to pick up a rug. They unloaded it, measured it, consulted withme on the spots. I paid for the clenaing in advance. I picked up the rug a week later. It is soft, very clean, no spots, the colors are bright and I am very satisfied.

They were very good. Their prices have gone up since I have used them last in 2003. Beware of the high price.

Last tenants had moved out without cleaning carpets. Though they were in good condition, I decided it was a good opportunity to clean them anyway. Thinking it would be less expensive since there was no furniture to move, I contacted Sequoia and they agreed to come the next day. They showed up on time and finished in less than hour. I was only surprised by the amount of the bill. On inquiry, I learned that their base rate is .45/square foot, which seemed quite high. I was able to secure a 10% discount by printing an on-line coupon, which the service suggested.

They arrived on time, quickly measured and gave me an estimate, and started working with my consent. The entire job took less than 2 hours. I didn't include my stairs but they noticed a couple of dirty spots on the bottom steps and cleaned them for me. Overall, they did a great job. My carpet is white with a number of stained and damaged areas so there wasn't a lot they could do for that (we plan to replace carpet in the next year). The only issue was they told me the carpet would take several hours to dry. This is normal for this type of cleaning job and not their fault so I still gave an "A". I just set up a large fan to help circulate the air and dry the carpet sooner.

We have used Sequoia for at least 15 years and they always do a wonderful job. Carpets look new when they are finished. They work quickly and comply with special requests. Can usually get appointment on short notice. Only problem after this job was done was that our cat got a hold of two of the styrofoam blocks and shredded them, so in the future I will ask they only use the plastic sheets under the furniture.

I've used them in the past, so I recommended them to people all the time. They do a really great job. They do rug restoration and they re-finish floors. I just used them to clean my carpets, but they looked really good after they finished.

I had 1 room and 2 rugs done. The person who did the work did 2 oriental rugs. They were very professional and courteous. I would definitely hire them again in the future. They did spot cleaning and spot removal. They gave me tips on how to keep the carpet clean. They also gave me general maintenance tips.

I have used this company just once so far, and I have been pleased with their work. Employee's drove a company truck to the work site. I was happy with the quality of this company's work. They were professional and punctual. I would use this company again, if I need my carpets cleaned.

I ALWAYS CALL CHARLENE AND JIM GUASCH AT SEQUOIA CARPET TO RESTORE MY CARPETS TO NEAR NEW LOOKS. UNFORTUNATELY, MY CARPETS ARE OFF-WHITE, AND I HAVE TEENAGE KIDS, AND TWO CATS. THE PREVIOUS OWNERS LEFT SOME KIND OF BLACK GREASE THAT ALWAYS RE-APPEARS AFTER ABOUT A YEAR. SEQUOIA'S TRUCK-MOUNTED CLEANING GETS EVEN THIS STUFF OUT. YOU DON'T NEED TO MOVE THE FURNITURE, THE CREW PICKS UP THE COUCHES AND CHAIRS, AND PUTS SMALL STYROFOAM BLOCKS UNDER THE LEGS. THE RUG IS ALMOST DRY WHEN THEY LEAVE, BUT IT TAKES A DAY OR SO BEFORE YOU CAN PUT THE FURNITURE BACK DOWN OFF THE LITTLE BLOCKS FOR THE CARPET TO COMPLETELY DRY. THEY ALSO SPECIALIZE IN WATER, AND SMOKE DAMAGE, AND UPHOLSTERY CLEANING. I'VE ALSO SENT THEM AN OLD ORIENTAL CARPET THE KIDS SPILLED ORANGE FRESCA ON AT A BIRTHDAY PARTY. THEY MAGICALLY CLEANED IT.
