H & H POOL SERVICE

I hired HHPools to clean and maintain my pool on a weekly basis since Mid 2021. I have tenants, but every time I visited the house, the pool was dirty. HHpools reported that the reason is that the Pump circuit breaker kept tripping and they said the reason is that the circuit breaker is shared with filter pump. So they staggered the time that the Pool Pump and filter pump are ON. They charged me diagnostics fee + service fee. A few months later they said the Pool pump has failed and needed replacement. They charged me a diagnostics fee and provided a high quote to change the pump. I changed the pump using the service of another Pool company and disputed the 2nd diagnostics fee. Since the first diagnostics was wrong. A pump draws more current, before it fails, due to its bearing and the components being old and have more friction. They should have measured the current of the pump in the first diagnostics instead of blaming the issue on Circuit breaker. David, the service manager, sent me a text today (he didn't have the curtsey to call me) and said they won't do any more service until it is paid in full advance by CC. Then I explained to him the reason for me disputing the 2nd Diagnostics, but he insisted that since the pump was working in first incident it couldn't have been failing. I told him a pump commonly draws more current before full failure . He kept arguing and when I told him his technician was incompetent, he got mad and terminated my service immediately. I don't recommend this company for Pool services. There are so many better companies which are highly rated in East Bay.

The pump was fine; the pump basket had fractured and debris had gone though and clogged the entrance to the pump. All it needed was a good cleaning out, and a new pump basket.

With H&H we can always count on our pool to sparkle! - H&H is amazing, responsive and professional, I highly recommend them.

Great. We had trouble with another pool company who couldn't seem to get our pool chemistry going. We brought in H&H. They figured out that we needed our filter cleaned and a few other things. These guys are great. Very competent, professional. Night and day better than the previous pool company. We have a monthly contract with them now to maintain our pool.

I do my own pool maintenance on a regular basis, but now travel for one to two month periods each year. Getting adequate pool service for those short periods has been a continuing problem, with poor service, lack of response. I tried H&H this past fall for the first time, service was excellent--quickly responsive, professional, handled all pool items including minor repairs to equipment. I will continue to use them on future trips.

The company is very professional, service is excellent. Repairs are complete. Also have monthly service plan and have been pleased with the level of service.

I contacted H&H by email and received a reply in about an hour. I described how the pool filter pump had stopped working and that it was controlled by a automated system. David was able to arrange for his technician to come out the next day. The technician arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem and made the repair all within about 30 minutes. I asked him about another small problem I was having with the pool and he was able to give me a reasonable quote. H&H was very responsive and professional. I'd definitely recommend them for any pool repair work.

We called and left a message and sent an email to ask for a service technician to come out. We waiting a few days for a return call but once scheduled, the knowledgeable technician arrived on time and provided excellent service.

I did not have work done, but on the telephone H&H was pleasant, knowledgeable, and provided great references to companies in whose service areas I do live. They appear to have a very professional attitude towards their work.

THEY HAVE CONTINUED TO DO AN OUTSTANDING JOB FOR US OVER THE LAST TWO YEARS. THEIR SERVICE REP IS VERY FRIENDLY AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICE.

THE OFFICE STAFF WAS VERY RESPONSIVE. THE SERVICE TECHNICIAN WAS PROMPT, CLEAN AND FRIENDLY. HE WAS VERY THOROUGH IN HIS INSPECTIONS AND I KNOW OUR POOL IS IN GREAT SHAPE BECAUSE OF THEM.

WE RELY ON H&H TO KEEP OUR POOL AND SPA MAINTAINED AND CLEAN. THEY ARRIVE ON A SCHEDULED DAY EACH WEEK. THIS REGULAR MAINTENANCE ALLOWS US TO USE OUR POOL ALL THE TIME WITH OUT WORRYING ABOUT CHEMICALS OR REPAIR.

THE SERVICE IS DONE WEEKLY & THEY ARE ON TIME. THE OVERALL PERFORMANCE IS GOOD. THE PERSON WHO CHECKS WEEKLY IS FRIENDLY & EXPLAINS ANYTHING IF IT NEEDS TO BE EXPLAINED.

WE WERE VERY SATISFIED WITH THE SERVICE AND RESPONSE. THEY NORMALLY DO JUST A WEEKLY CHEMICAL CHECK ON OUR SPA, BUT WE WERE ALSO HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE SUCTION ON OUR PUMP. THEY CHECKED IT OUT WHEN THEY WERE HERE AND THEY DETERMINED THE CAUSE. A SWITCH ON THE FILTER HAD BEEN ACCIDENTALLY TURNED TO THE INCORRECT POSITION. THEY CORRECTED IT AND DID NOT CHARGE US ANYTHING EXTRA.
