+ -1 moreMatt provided the lower bid of the two companies I contacted. They arrived promptly, worked a long day, and got the job done when Matt said it would be. There were zero issues, they suggested improvements and the wall looks exactly as I had hoped. They even had the courtesy to put some sort of drop cloths under their trucks in the event they would leak oil on our driveway. My previous experience on the construction of the wall was with a nightmare contractor, it was good to have just the opposite.
Description of Work: Matt and Roberto faced about 60 ft of retaining wall with brick and cultured stone.

+ -1 moreVery good. The job lasted about a week and they were very considerate of my hardwood floors. Clean up was great and I am very happy with the end result.
Description of Work: I actually needed someone local to travel up to Lake Arrowhead and totally redo my rock fireplace and mantle. Lake Arrowhead contractors tend to charge a lot more because of the lack of competition. Matt himself and one of his workers went up and gave me a great deal so I took a chance and went with them. They tore down the faux rock (that 70's style stuff) and what was behind that was a mess. They ended up having to brace the wall with additional 2 x 4's and reroute some electrical due to one of the outlets having to be removed. All this was unforseen and cost a bit more in materials but they were very fair and the job was done right. They put up the river rock and made me a custom built mantle out of kiln dried pine and then beat it up with a chain and hammer to make it look rustic. The mantle is so solid I can hang on it and bounce up and down and it won't move. They left the place spotless and the way they made the river rock look on the fire place truly makes our place look like a lodge. Very good job!!
