Moving your entire family may be challenging. We moved from SD to NY on Monday. Hiring GXL Moving Services LLC, a highly regarded packing and moving service, was the best decision I've ever made.

Moving my small ceramics studio was a challenge, but the moving team’s expertise with fragile items gave me peace of mind. All my pieces arrived in top-notch condition. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again!

Moving day is always hectic, but this team turned it into a stress-free experience! They arrived 10 minutes early and even called me beforehand to confirm. They had all the necessary tools – dollies, straps, and blankets – which saved my furniture from scratches. I was worried about moving my grandmother's antique dresser, but they wrapped it so well that I didn't feel nervous anymore. The way they loaded the truck was like solving a Tetris puzzle; everything fit perfectly. At my new place, they carefully set up the furniture exactly where I wanted. They offered to help with unpacking some fragile boxes.

Our company had to relocate offices with minimal downtime. And to our relief, the movers from this company were organized, labeled every box and set up our desks and equipment in record time. We were up and running by the next 2 days, which was great. We’d hire them again in a heartbeat!

I was worried about my outdoor furniture getting scratched or damaged during the move. The movers wrapped each piece with protective covers, and for the glass table, they used foam corners and extra padding. They disassembled my large patio umbrella and put it together again at the new place. When I asked about getting new cushions, they pointed out a few stores nearby, which was really thoughtful. The team’s attention to my outdoor items was just as thorough as their work indoors.

We got a lot done fast because everyone pitched in. No unexpected fees arose, and the total cost was within the expected range. The meticulous packaging was a pleasant surprise when we opened the parcels a few days later. Impressive job!

The decision to use this moving company was not a mistake. Everything went off without a hitch, they were well-prepared, and they packed everything securely. They were very careful with my belongings, and the team was friendly and competent the whole time. I am happy to recommend them because of the reliable and affordable service they provided.

The movers were fluent in two languages and had excellent people skills. They worked with all of us during the relocation process by overcoming language hurdles. Their linguistic proficiency and understanding of foreign cultures made them ideal candidates for international relocation.

The movers were helpful and organized. They loaded the truck in no time and made sure everything was safely packed to avoid any damage.

On a moving day, the boys arrived in the truck and, acting like true gentlemen, loaded the desk, accompanied me to my house, unloaded it, and put it in the appropriate space. They cleaned up the materials they had used to fasten the desk. When necessary, I'll employ them again because they were excellent.

The movers were great! They made sure my boxes were stacked in a way that made sense for me to unpack easily. They were quick but careful, and they helped me assemble my bed frame. Fantastic service.

GXL RELOCATION SERVICES I contracted with GLX LE Relocation services for a move from Fontana to Corona's Temescal Valley area on or about 10/30 and/or 10/31/2024. The move experience was a nightmare. The company overcharged and underperformed. I would NOT RECOMMEND using this service. They have offices located in Downey and Las Vegas. One of the men on the team said he worked in the Las Vegas office. Despite having photographs in advance of our furniture and garage area, GXL arrived with a truck too small to hold all our items from our 3-bedroom home. Additionally, owner AJ and his team had sufficient time to assess the truck's load capacity during the "prep time" on the day before the move. Their failure to do so resulted in 2 trips to the new home and accrual of overtime for 4 men. Essentially, the move cost double the amount. Instead of the estimated $4000 to $5000, GXL charged us nearly $9,000 for a 32 mile move with 3 to 4 men. My sister and I are both in our 70's so it was important that our move went smoothly. In addition to moving our household, we also enlisted GXL's services to pack some items, most of which were stored in our garage cabinets. Initially, the contracted rate was $152 per hour for 3 men. Because we were awaiting escrow to close on either 10/30 or 10/31, AJ booked both days pending my notification that I had the keys to the new property. I contacted AJ a few days prior to closing and requested his movers do the garage packing on 10/30 to ensure a complete move by 10/31. One mover packed the garage and others worked inside, packing some wardrobe boxes and wrapping most of the furniture. They returned on 10/31 to finish wrapping the furniture, load the truck and complete the move. They defined their services on 10/30 as "prep" time. On that day, owner AJ telephoned and asked if I wanted to complete the move on that same day. He said that he could do it because we (my sister and I) had previously boxed nearly everything. Later, I noted the late hour and questioned the company's ability to complete the move that same day. One of the movers agreed. AJ telephoned me again, agreeing that the rest of the move would be completed on 10/31. The fee for that first day was almost $2500. They processed that invoice immediately. On 10/31, 3 movers arrived about 8:30-9 am. A 4th mover, to which I agreed expecting a faster move process, arrived about 2 hours later. The movers began loading the truck, at which time it became evident that the supposedly "large" truck could not hold all our possessions. It was agreed that my sister would follow the movers to the new Corona residence to unload the first load. Unfortunately, I gave my sister the wrong keys. To avoid further delays I suggested they load the boxes into our garage at the the Corona location. They returned to the Fontana home to load the remaining items. Because of the late hour in the day, traffic conditions worsened, extending the drive time. All said and done, the movers left our new home after midnight. I tipped each of the 4 drivers $100 each because they worked for such long hours. I even expressed concerns to AJ about their apparent exhaustion and impact on efficiency. He assured me that they were capable and that they had worked a 20 hour job in the past. I over-valued the movers efforts. To our surprise, we discovered a number of "oversights" on the movers' part days later. They moved the furniture into our new home, but failed to bring in boxes marked for specific rooms, e.g. “kitchen.” They also placed boxes in our garage that were marked FRAGILE at the bottom of heavy boxes stacked 3 to 4 deep. A number of fragile items were needlessly broken. They placed food items labeled PANTRY on the bottom of boxes stacked 4 deep. It took days retrieve these food items from beneath other boxes. Additionally, they did not keep screws and electrical cords together with the items they packed. Examples include screws for the TV mounts, Big Screen TVs (2)/ computers and adjustable beds. The GXL contract required notification of broken/damaged Items be identified and reported to them within 24 hours. Such notification was impossible given the way boxes were stacked. It's taken us weeks to access our items. This review was delayed because we were overwhelmed by the inefficiency and carelessness of GXL Relocation Services. Most of our time has been spent searching for items stacked in our garage. Even the MARKED boxes that we labeled ourselves were positioned away from our view. This company is on Angie's List. I question their ethics and competency. Obviously, their so called "good" reviews are not reliable.

Horrible. Do not use them! They ran way over and the police came as they were loud late at night. They didn’t finish the job, leaving items at my other home. They damaged furniture and either lost or stole a $1200 vacuum. He then ran my credit card for $3000 more then what we agreed upon and have in writing. My attorney is handling this now. BEWARE. DO NOT USE THEM.

I called Mr. Leblanc and he did what he said and then some. Superb!!! Their service was prompt, timely, professional and proficient. His associates were courteous gentlemanly and strong. We are pleased with their and recommend you use them as well. ,

It's so hard to find reputable businesses to do small jobs reasonably. But how you do anything is how you do everything. I just needed a small move now but hiring them again for a big move coming up. GXL movers were very accommodating, clean, on-time, careful, and courteous. All very important to great customer service. That's why I plan to use them for my upcoming big move.

Professional, friendly, conscientious (did not scratch or damage walls/corners), skilled, on-time. Good communication. Contract was clear. Final invoice, prompt. I will call GXL for my next move.

This company was so professional and treated my furniture and household goods as if they were their own. They were on time, very courteous and respectful of my space and belongings. I would definitely use their services again. They are top- notch!
