very satisfied with the workmen...the quality & professionalism...they were courteous and explained things when asked questions.

They were very nice and they did a good job. I didn't get massive ice breaks. Everything else was absolutely professional and the work was fine. The guy was very pleasant. They came on time. The reason why I say B in every way is because for some reason, at the end of that transaction, if I ever need their service again, I'll still shop around. It seemed like an excessive amount of money but that's what everybody was charging. We called around and that's kind of a ballpark. We went with them because they were close and my mother had used them. I'll still call around to see if I can find a better deal but if I had to, I would. I know they'll get the job done. They're respected and reputable and everything.

It was fine. I thought it was a little expensive. He broke something in the front and it cost me a lot of money to have it fixed. The heating and conditioning part was fine. The guy did a great job and that’s why I called them back to do the faucet and that was the biggest disaster I ever did. So I was extremely disappointed with that guy. I was very unhappy with him and I would never call him back to do any kind of plumbing. It just irritated me so because I don’t feel that I should have to pay for the whole thing. I think it was wrong because he was the one who broke it. He just said it happens all the time.

I had a leak under my kitchen sink. Downey P&H gave me a nice short window of 2 hours and they called me about 20 minutes before the technician arrived. Jose R was very polite, had a clean work area, and helpful. He went to the plumbing supply store on behalf to select a new kitchen sink faucet that matched my expectations. I was very happy with his speedy service and price was just right for the job and new faucet. Downey Plumbing and Heating will be the official plumbing company for my new home!

The plumbing tech was tring to tell me he was going to have to replace lines that did not exist. I am a disabled plumbiersassistant and I know what needs to be done... unfortantely due to my disability I can not. I told him where it needed to be installed and he was trying to push me other wise... I was not impressed with his knowledge and poor customer service. I asked him to call his boss and ask if he would do it for $2000 and he refused to even call. He then told me that if I had the water softener and water heater already here he would do it for $1000 . I then said okay homedepot is around the corner I will be right back with the parts and you can get started. He said oh... I'm not going to do it today... unless you pay me over time rates... I looked at my watch and it was almost 2pm??? I said wow... what do you mean over time rates??? I was shocked. He said he would come back on Monday. Then called me right after and said they couldn't come on monday they would come on Tuesday. I went over to Lowes the next day purchased the softener and water heater and the labor installation was $500. I will never ever call Downey Plumbing again. A. Trying to get me to do pipe work I didn't need to do B. Over charging for materials and labor C. Tech not interested in working... unless I pay him over time rates at 2pm... D. Poor representation of the company by service tech E. Poor customer service

The customer service was excellent, and it was great to work with them. They were very polite. Everybody knew the job they had to do, and they did it well. They finished quickly. I have used them for many, many years. I have tried other plumbers, but I always go back to Downey.

It was fine, we have very hard water which made it hard to turn the faucet handles. He replaced them for us and made it a lot easier. We have been dealing with Downey Plumbing for many years, they are very trustworthy.

Good work. Professional. Clean. No issues. Definitely recommend them.

Out of 3 services requested, 2 were done well but the third (slow shower drain) was left with the drain cover/grate bent to the point of not being functional.

Good There were two farmers who spent about eight hours pushing the tiles and they kept getting wedged as they pushed them thru the pipe until they could get access to them

They came out when they said they would. Two times they took care of the problem right then, and the third time they had to come back the next day to do the plumbing for the bathtub. I spent around $600 for plumbing for the bathtub. I was happy with the price but I thought the bathtub deal was a little high. I would use them for my rental house.

called them for an estimate and got the estimate right over the phone. $100 for the house call plus parts etc....Got the estimate and it was satisfactory so scheduled for them to come out Wed after 5-I worked late that day. Had a prob w/my car so left work early, called them to see if they could come to my house early and they could. Yeah! Thy arrived, Identified the problem and went to work. What I thought would be a small quick fix turned out a little more complicated of course. The screw was so tight on the faucet that when the plumber tried to get it off the pipe broke(fully corroded as the pipe was old) so he had to take the siding off of the house(Vinyl siding) go into the wall and fix the broken pipe. He did so. Took a little over an hour. I'm pretty happy. Except they did not caulk around the newly installed faucet. The hole is larger that the original hole that was there. So it looks a little sloppy. I bought some caulk and will do it myself. Other than that job well done.

My kitchen sink stopped up while I was making our Christmas Eve dinner,Right away I went to Angie's List, I used the first one I saw on the list,Downey Plumbing was very good,Juan was really nice told me not to worry it would be fine, sure enough he was done in less than 20 min. Very polite young man

Downy Plumbing has been my go-to company for 18 years and has always responded promptly and done the job{drain cleaning, faucet replacement, garbage disposal replacement, etc.) to my satisfaction. Their prices seem reasonable to me.

They were great. Punctual, professional and considerate. I would highly recommend their services. They really go above and beyond. A great, trustworthy family business.

They came within a couple hours after I called them. They did a good job. The competence of the people would stand out and they were very good. They did a good job of explaining what needed to be done. I was hoping that the price would have been better.

The work was done promptly. It was very helpful. I gave them a call when I had time constraints. They were here an hour earlier than what they had told me. It was good because I wanted to go out.

I called them in the morning about 9:00 am, and they told me they would be here between 1:00 and 3:00pm. They showed up at 2:30pm. I explain the problem, then they told me what they have to do, and how much it will cost me. They quoted me $80.00, i agreed, and they were done in about 1-hour. There was 2-of them. They were nice, young polite men. I was happy with the work. And they are close to where i live here in Boyle Heights. They are located in Downey. So i would call them again.

I thought their pricing was appropriate compared to other estimates I received. Two men came to do the work, which took about an hour. They have been in the Downey area for about 30 years. They are established and you always see them around the city, which is why I called them. They were on time, seemed to know what they were doing and were clean service men.

The clogged drain had cleared on its own prior to the arrival of Downey Plumbing. They were hesitant to snake the drain since the clog had cleared. This was the second clog in the area within a week, and I requested they snake the drain as a preventative measure. They snaked the drain, and two weeks later we had another clog in the drain. This time the clog did not clear on its own. As a result, we lost confidence in the plumber's experience. We called another plumbing company, and our drain-clog problem seems to have been solved.

Downey Plumbing came in to replace my dead garbage disposal with a new InSinkerator that I purchased myself at Home Depot. I had a tricky double-sink setup, which is why I opted to have a pro do it. The disposal installation went flawlessly, and so quickly that my wife wondered why I hadn't done it myself! However, when my wife went to use the sink, she found that the drain (which had been a problem off and on for years) was completely backed up. I had her call Downey Plumbing back; I talked to Frank on the phone, who explained that the disposer installation probably backed up old debris into the drain. I gave him the go-ahead to rooter the drain out. Afterward, that drain was never a problem again.

They are great. I checked everybody in this and they were awesome. I liked the customer service they provided and the owner himself talked me at length about the problems and how we should handle it. We had to order specific pieces and he got some other ones off the truck and they were awesome. They went way beyond the call of duty without expecting anything.

Here's the thing. My very elderly says there was water all over the kitchen floor and she had to mop it up. By the time I got there, I could see no water, but she insisted we call plumber. We did and he checked everywhere and under the house and could find no leak. I don't think there was any water as this is a claim she has made before. But the point is, the plumber was very polite and thorough and good with my Mom. We have used Downey Plumbing before for the last 15 years or so and they are always professional, get the job done.
