replacement windows
 + -1 moreI would never do business with NEWPANE ever again.
Description of Work: First, let me say that my windows are beautiful and work wonderfully. Installation and product were as advertised. However, I am sorry to have to recommend that you buy your Milgard windows from anyone other than Newpane. When their installers put in my Master Bedroom window, which is above my Duralum patio cover, the installers made no effort to protect my patio roof. You can clearly see from above and below where each foot pressed into the aluminum. My patio cover was new and beautiful, and had Newpane resolved this damage quickly, I would still have given them 5 stars. As it is, we are now a year and a half after the fact. Nancy Ledesma in one email tried to shift the blame to me. Their installers are the professionals who should have known to put down planking or whatever professionals do in this situation. Andrew King and the insurance representative gave me calm assurances that this would be taken care of to my satisfaction, promised to get back to me, and then never responded. At one point the owner's other son, Phillip King, came out and shoved some of the dents out, and Andrew offered me $1,000, which would have left me with a dinged up patio roof and about $2,300 short of a real solution. Now, I am completing the paperwork and compiling the evidence for small claims court. I work 40 hours a week, commute 10 hours, am a part time college student, participate in the children's programs at my church, and do not have time for this. It is too bad that one has to go to these measures just because a business will not do the right thing the first time. I'll also be contacting the contractor's licensing board with this issue. If you need windows, just hire another company that has the skill and equipment to work around the structural challenges your property may require; and one that stands by any subsequent ramifications with more than lip service. If NEWPANE wants to make this right they can contact me. My name is Sally Barnett. They have my number after a year of back and fourth.  + -1 moreThis is my second time using Newpane for replacement windows. This was the completion of replace all of the windows in the house with new Milgard Style Line slider windows. The windows themselves are great and were made to order for the openings in the house. All of the windows that were replaced were existing aluminum slider replacement windows. After calling to set up an on site measurement, they came out to measure and examine the window openings. Once the windows were manufactured, they returned to do the install. The install was done very cleanly and looks great. The old windows were removed and disposed of by the installer crew. My only problem was that one of the glass panels had a defect on the inside. Newpane contacted Milgard on my behalf and set up an appointment to have the glass replaced. Excellent communication and service all through the process.

 + -1 moreIf you like people who ignore what you ask them to quote for, and then, when you point it out, tell you they don't want to do business with you, then this is the company for you. Make sure you ask for Michael, and watch him proceed to do the bare mimimum, and then get attitude. They must be getting plenty of business to let this guy behave the way he does. I've tried on 2 separate occasions to get a quote from this company, and each time, was stymied when he entered the process. (I won't bore you with the details, unless you request me to) Its too bad. The measuring guy, Philip, was attentive and polite.

 + -1 moreThis company is very prompt in their attendance. They have installed approximately twenty windows in our home. They are energy efficient. I was so surprised how air tight the actual windows are. I was pleased with this companies product and their service. I would refer this company to anyone.
