ELITE GROUP PROPERTY INSPCTN

I called Elite Group and I could fix an appointment for a general inspection for just a couple of days later, which was the closest day among many other inspection companies. I received an email confirmation with links to pay the inspection by credit card and electronically sign the agreement. The inspector was very punctual, polite, knowledgeable and professional. I received a very detailed report by email just a few hours after the inspection. It was my first time calling a general inspector and I could not have imagined a better service. Reasonable price for an excellent service, thank you Elite Group!

As a seller, we stayed at the house during the inspection. My husband offered to show them how to use the pool equipment so they could test it. The inspector was not interested, was rude and walked off. So we could see where this was going, they checked plugs and noted that the GFI switch in the bathroom didn't work, my husband corrected him and told him it did work and showed him that he needed to press the button, the inspector dismissed him and walked on. That was about how it went, he added that on his list of things to be fixed. With the inspectors attitude, and very poor knowledge of what he was doing, we refused to fix anything for the buyer. Anyone can check plugs, see if the dishwasher works, cracks in the cement, stains in the attic. You would be better served to hire a combination inspector that actually has experience in the trades.
